Bring it on Odin! (duel)

C'mon man, let's do battle.

ok lets do it, I'll to the place and time you make the intro.

place: open field with forests on the outside edges.

Time: Night fall

Now you get to make the intro.



Odin is my character and Bahamut is my user name.

ooc: First time for intro here. Here goes nothing.

bic: Reluctantly coming out of the cover of the trees, Autkast made his way cautiosly into the field. He had gathered information about a warrior by the name of Odin that wandered these parts. He knew virtually nothing of the human except for the fact of his dragoon powers. Autkast had never encountered such a being before.

He neared the center of the field, growing more and more catious with every step. He was here........somewhere. He sensed something behind him. He became relaxed and slowly turned around and found himself face to, well, forehead with the dragoon himself.


"You came to see me?" he asked, a hint of respect in his eyes. Autkast answered with same amount of, if not more, respect, "I have traveled far in seeking you. I have heard that if you are beaten you will teach your opponent one of your techniques. Is it as I have heard?"

"Yes," he answered, "do you accept the challenge?"
" Of course, for it is why I have come."
"Then let it begin," he replied as he drew his buster sword and leaped back a great distance, Autkast following suit. Taking on his best fighting stance, Autkast prepared himself for the very near upcoming battle......


ooc:How was that?

ooc:very good

IC: Odin ready for battle jumped back and said " Autkast if you beat me you can have my technic "Ziton" if you don't the consequences will be unbarable to a regular human but since you want the technic so bad I guess I should give you a sample." With that he nelt down and chanted words unknone to any one then suddenly a orb of energy appeared in his hand and he chanted the last few words and it formed into his buster sword.
Smiling he stood up holding the huge sword with one hand and then said " this is Ziton the technic I will give you if you beat me, it makes my sword lighter then a feather so I can swing it in the fastes speeds and it makes my sword have its own energy giving it the sence of where the enemy is. Lets see how you do against it."
Odin jumped up in the air and dashed left and right confusing his enemy Autkast, till sundenly his sword was in his enemy's shoulder.
Autkast had dodged most of the attack as an instinct leaving only his shoulder open instead of his chest.
Odin had landed and jumped back and smiled at Autkact and said " finally a worthy apponent, usually nobody can dodge that attack ecspecially with Ziton, I see now that I can Fight you with more technics then one you look ready so lets let you show what you got.
With that they both went into a stance like no other glaring at each other Autkast grinding his teath from his wound.


ooc: so now it is your turn. is your character's name Autkast?

ooc: yeah, it is.

ic: Autkast knew more injuries than just a shoulder wound if he didn't come up with a way to deal with this technique. Suddenly he had an idea, Lifting his hands he cast haste, magic that would up his speed to match Odins sword handling, however haste made him overall faster, not his sword lighter. He could now dodge the swrd easily and just as quickly use a counter-attack. "Let's see how well Ziton will work against me now." He dashed at him with incredible speed. To Odin it looked like he was coming from all directions. Autkast raised is sword and leaped to the left of Odin slashing sideways. The last thing Odin saw was Autkast coming straight at him, so he slashed infront of himself only to find a sting come to his own shoulder as well.

Autkast tapped him on the shoulder. Odin spun around swinging his sword, Autkast parried and jumped backwards. "So, what have you got up your sleeve for this?" he taunted.

ooc: you should have found a different way to beat me. go and look at my listings for Odin.listins 4th page.

IC: Odin smiled at Autkast and said " you should find something different then speed to beat me it is useless against me with my technic "Xeon" lucky for you I can only use this once." with that he yelled out "Xeon" then he disappeared, Autkast confused by this said "show yourself, if you are not afraid." he then turned around and was face to face with the dragon warrior, jumping back he said" how can you move so fast?"
Odin smiling said " my technic makes me faster then any opponent, it only has one weakness lets see if you can figure it out." he dashed forward and slashed Autkast on the neck so fast that it took him a few seconds to figure out that he was even cut.
Odin then said " that was a warning, so do you think you can still beat me?"

ooc: woops, forgot about that one...

ic: "There is no such thing as too powerful." Autkast had to think of something fast.....faster than Odin could move at that. He heard a twig crack and turned to his left to find a buster coming straight at his head. He ducked and slashed at Odin's legs, but he was no longer there. He thought too himself, "Faster than his opponent, he snapped his fingers and withdrew his haste spell, bringing him back to his normal speed, causing Odin's Xeon technique to slow down slightly. It had worked. The technique made the user slightly faster than the opponent, if they slowed down, you slowed down.

He opened his senses looking for any hint of movement or sound. There! Without hesitation or warning he swung to the right, Odin dodged but was caught off gaurd and was hit in the leg. Autkast leaped toward Odin trying to stab him, whether it was a pure genius attack or just plain stupidity Autkast hadn't decided yet, but it clearly sent Odin for a loop who brought up his sword, but at the last second Autkast stabbed his sword into the ground, causing him to follow it, and drew his dagger and stabbed Odin in his upper thigh. He withdrew the dagger and stabbed him once more in the stomach. Odin staggered back, "I don't understand, I should have been long gone." Autkast replied, "When I lowered my speed so did yours," smiling at his ingenuity.

Odin stepped back and said, "That may be as well, but my sword technique his still at hand." With that he raised his sword. Autkast jumped back grabbing his sword and sheathing his dagger in one fluid motion, readying himself for the coming attack........It was time for some magic.

ooc: nice post but remember we have to g7et to the second page or third before ending ok.

IC:Odin grinding his teath from the pain yelled out "Cure2" with that his wound healed end he was ready to charge but then said "you have found the weakness to my technic and I am impressed of your skills so I will so you you a technic that has no weakness and is so powerful you will shake in fear for this is "Enounac" the perfect technic." With that he dashed forward and jumped up into the sky as he chanted loudly "ento-cheto-prato." as soon as he was finished Autkast suddenly lost his energy and was kneeling on the ground from the waight of his body.

Odin landed and said "if you can beat this attack while I'm more powerful then ever because of your energy I will give my technic but if you can't then the penalty will be undescribable, I will dismiss Xeon so we can see how much of a warrioryou really are, now lets go."

Odin glared at Autkast then bolted to the side slashed up his back down his shoulder then across his chest his leg his gut his arms then came back to be infront of him to say if you can beat me with your wounds and your energy lets see why you were destined to be a Warrior."

He looked at Autkast as he was holding his wounds and said "so much pain, you say you would go threw all this to learn my technic, now that is a heart of a warrior, so lets see if that warrior's heart can do shall we."

ooc: harsh man.


ic: Autkast's plate mail was cut from his body and fell to the ground. "Physical pain cannot match what I have been through." With that he rose to his feet. "You say these wounds cannot be healed by magic, that they must be healed naturally." A blue light appeared in his right hand and a yellow light in his left. "Let's speed that up then shall we?" He slapped his hands together, combining the spells cure and haste. Which increased the speed of his natural healing rate causing his wounds to scab and heal in less than a second, leaving scars. Autkast drew his sword and and dashed at Odin, but instead of stabbing him he threw off Odin once more by jumping over him and slashing him across his own back. As Odin turned Autkast jumped again bringing his sword down on his wrist. 'Ugh, wrong wrist,' he thought. Odin kicked him in the stomach, Autkast flew backwards, landing on his back and rolled to his feet. He rubbed his mid-section. "Nice kick," he said.

"That's not the half of it," he countered.

Odin looked at his wrist, it was starting to bleed. He shrugged it off. Without warning he threw his buster straight at Autkast. Autkast wasn't fast enough, he dodged but was caught in the hip. He spun and landed on the ground, face in the grass. Odin called back his buster and the energy surrounding it responded. It hovered over Autkast, pointing downwards. Autkast could feel the energy above him. He quickly rolled to the left and knocked the sword back towards Odin.

"Hitting a man while he's down. That doesn't show much honor you know." Autkast taunted once more. He then drew his dagger and threw it straight towards Odin's head. While Odin was busy dodging the dagger Autkast charged and sliced hid other wrist. Running by he went to retrieve his ever useful dagger. Odin grabbed his wrist.

"How is there honor in this then?" Odin said in pain. "Tell me, where did you learn my weakness?"

"I asked around, bartender here, drug dealer there. You know how it goes," Autkast replied with a smirk.

Odin smiled back, "No really, who told you."

"I'll tell you after I win," Autkast smirked again.

ooc: I take back what I said about you being a honorable Warrior.

IC:Odin Glared at Autkast, anger in his eyes and said "You deny all other words but you still insist to joke, that is not a warrior but I told if you beat me I will give you one of my technics so I will keep what I said now lets fight."

Odin picked up his buster sword stained with blood from the earlier slashes and bolted over to Autkast and slashed him right up the chin cutting straight into the jaw. Odin laughed as he came back and said you didn't even see that coming because you are so drained of energy, "with that he dashed over and plunged staight twards Autkast's heart, but suddenly it stop, Odin tried to move his sword but he couldn't he looked up at Autkast, Autkast had caught the blade with his hand and blood had been gushing out of the wound. Odin steped back and said "it is not possible, how did you catch my blade?Its not possible."

Odin glared at Autkast, he waited for a reply. He noticed that he had slashed his jaw earlier so he threw a cure1 at his opponent's jaw healing it enough so he could speak, now Odin waits for a reply.

ooc:Thats too bad.


ic:Autkast withdrew an empty bottle from his cloak. A potion bottle. "You didn't think I would come unprepared now did you?" Autkast repiled. He threw the bottle at Odin, drawing his sword. Odin smashed the bottle with his fist, glass in his knuckles, he then brought his sword up and began an offensive. Autkast barely kept up but parried every blow. Odin jumped back going on the defensive. "I guess it's my turn," Autkast said as he walked towards Odin, but before Autkast came within range Odin went back on the offensive and swung his buster straight at Autkast's neck. Autkast pulled out his dagger, deflecting the buster, but putting a crack down the center of the metal, and stabbed Odin in the stomach......again. Odin drew back, sliding himself off of Autkast's sword. He healed his stomach....again, and was about to go back to slashing when he noticed something strange about Autkast's sword. A dark mist formed around it. He could feel the dark energey form the shape of the sword. Making it more powerful, and dealing more pain to the opponent who wasn't fast enough.


"What's this?" Odin piped in. "More parlor trickes?"

Autkast replied sarcastically, "I always come with more than one." With that he dived at Odin with incredible speed. Odin brought up his buster to block but Autkast stopped, his feet digging into the dirt, causing dirt to fly into Odin's eyes. "Agh," Odin yelled in pain, not because of the dirt but because Aukast came around and dug his sword deep into Odin't side. He pulled it out and wiped the blood off on some grass.He sheathed his sword and waited for Odin to to stop yelling. His body was filling with darkness. Disabling his magic.

ooc:Whee good fight.Odin is nothing without his magic...WHEE!!!

ooc: we're not done yet.

IC: Odins pain was very sharpe and very real he nelt down and started to say something as suddenly he stabed himself with his own sword, the swords energy disapeared and all of Odins wounds healed, yet he lost his energy sword Ziton in doing so.

Odin glared at Autkast as he stood up and said "how do you make it posssible for this fight to go on so long, you are a fighter that I have never seen before but yet you are so content about beating me, so lets see if you can get what you want."
Autkast was looking staight at Odin as they got ready to fight as then he walked over to Odin and told him "lets do this like real warriors." Odin nodded his head and then they started to plunge and slash at each other the banging of swords together was so loud you could tell that they were giving it all they had, Autkast slashed twards Odins neck but he blocked it with his sword giving back the same amount of strength in a blow twards his leg but it was stopped and they did this long and hard till Autkast jumped away with the last of his energy leaving Odin able to neal. It would seem that both the fighters were equaly matched and they both had lost their energy from the tense battle that had just passed.

Odin stood up slowly and said "let us end this soon and see who is stronger."with that they both glared at each other tencely waiting to see if the other one could attack.

Come on man you did that move last battle.It is getting old you should make your posts more original.Plus I was the first one in the battle dome to stab my self.*Takes out shiny award and flashes it in bahamuts face*

ooc: Ansem, I promise if you spam this thread again I won't ever fix you computer again. Or ou'll just get banned.

Autkast was the first to speak. "You ready for this?" Odin replied, "Ready for what?" He looked up and Autkast was gone. He felt cold steel across his throat. Autkast whispered in his ear, "Surrender and I'll spare you." Odin replied, "I said you could have my technique of you defeated me. Remember?"

"Surrendering id being defeated," Autkast told him. "Die or live another day. It's your choice."


ooc: I know it's short, I'm in a hurry.

ooc: still haven't beat me.

Ic: Odin replied to Autkast " how about no choises and live, put the sword down and I promise not to hurt you."
Autkast smirked back" why would I let down my sword right when I am just about to kill you?This is probably just one of your bluffs."Odin smiled as Autkast started to slice his throat, the body that had been detroyed had been a second of Odin, a copy. Autkast hadn't noticed until he felt a pearce straight in his back as he looked down he saw a blade pushing threw his stomach a blade so wide that it almost looked like a tree had pearced him.

Afraid and in pain Autkast fell forward hitting the ground with a thud, Odin rached down to pick up the dead body when a sword came up and stabbed him in the stomach leaving Odin in as much pain as Autkast, Odin spoke " very nice I.........didn't think anyone could live after having my sword threw them but you prooved me wrong and that is what makes you stronger then me........I know that I can not heal this wound with my magic so I shall name you the victor and pass on my Technic Ziton to you. Give me your hand,(Autkast gives him his hand)" Odin wispered some words and Autkast felt strong and he felt power inside of him a power that he never knew, He looked down at his stomach hi wound was gone, he had knone that this was a very powerful man to have bean able to master this power.

Odin smiled at Autkast and said " you have the choice for me to live or for me to die my life is in your power to control."





ooc: I know it is kind of cheesy but its a ok post you have to end the battle.

ooc: Thanks.

ic:Autkast sheathed his sword, "You proven to be worthy Odin. I do not nor ever wished to kill you. I had an ongoing conflict in my mind as to how to win and not kill you. I thank thee. This technique will be useful in my quest. However, I cannot ask you to join me. I do not feel I am ready to start choosing allies, but you do have my trust. Farewell."

Autkast brushed himself off, smiled at Odin, and made his way back through the woods he came from. He turned back around and Odin was gone. He proceeded to finding information about the next warrior he wished to challenge and where she dwelled.
