Battle in the forest(anyone)

OOC:I'll be using Fisher.CHeck for him at the character approved thread.

BIC:"Dang it!" Yelled Fisher. He had a wound on his left arm wich was so painful,he could'nt move it. This was'nt helpful because after a long battle he wound up on a beach by a derseted forest. "Just my luck. My arm is practacly broken and I'm in the middle of nowhere." Then he heard a rustle in some trees nearby. "Watch yourself,I have a weapon." He then got ready to fight whoever or whatever was there.

OoC: Link to my character is in my signature.

BiC: As the ready to fight Fisher braced himself Dirk slowly rose from the bushes. The two stared at each other for a brief moment. Dirk noticed he was hurt and decided that he shouldn't attack. Then Fisher lunged toward Dirk. Dirk moved out of the way, but not in time to avoid being scratched by the hook. Dirk's right arm had blood trickling down from his shoulder where a big scratch shown was pretty deep. Dirk now realized they were on equal terms and extended his fins. Before Dirk could get ready Fisher again came on the offensive. Dirk realized if he was going to stand a chance he would have to keep up with the speed of his opponent. Dirk once again moved out of the way only to realize he had been hooked by one of his large fins and was being dragged against the ground while Fisher was running with Dirk on his hook. Dirk then activated his barrier spell and knocked Fisher away. Dirk's left fin was badly wounded. There they stood both fighters not conceding an inch while ready to go for more....

Dirk then used his fin boomerangs but Fisher caught one of them and cut it. Dirk now angry slashed at Fisher. Fisher dodged Dirk's attack and once again attacked with his hook and hit Dirk's hand. Fisher thjen stood waiting for Dirk to attack.

Left with just one fin Dirk had to think quickly. He knew that if he doesn't plan right he would not be able to defeat his opponent. Dirk quickly charged at Fisher while Fisher charged back. Dirk quickly came to a halt and used his barrier. Fisher ran into the barrier and got knocked back a couple of feet. Dirk quickly threw his only fin boomerang and nailed his target. Dirk was now exhausted. Dirk had a feeling of an accomplishment. Then to his surprise Fisher got back up and all Dirk could do was try to survive. Fisher was slashing away at Dirk. Dirk was taking the blows and Fisher kicked Dirk hard in the stomach. Dirk fell to his knees with the wind knocked out of him. Dirk stood up barely keeping his self from giving up. "You have a strong will don't you, said Fisher with a smile of accomplishment. Dirk was too weak to reply. Dirk swung at Fisher and missed. Fisher took the advantage and gave him another kick to the stomach. Dirk fell on the ground unconscious. Fisher was glad to have won even though his arm was out.

OOC: I'll be using Fayrii, a half-human, half-faerie with claws and a tail. He's at character approval.

BiC: After watching Fisher knock out Dirk, Fayrii dropped from a tree and faced Fisher. He set himself in a guard with his left foot forward and his left hand held sideways forward, standing slightly sideways.
"I hope you don't intend to kill him in cold blood," Fayrii said, alerting Fisher to his presence. "After all, you'll be too busy fighting me. Your strike."

OOC: I can't seem to put it in my sig, so here's the link to my character's profile, Character . I'll be using my only character, Zurel.
IC: Zurel stepped through the forest, every step an effort now that he had been searching for a battle school called "The Dome" for a few years now. Hearing the sounds of combat, and someone mentioning striking, he turned in that direction, "Finally, civilization. Maybe someone there can direct me to this 'Dome' place I've been hearing about." he muttered, which was more like a roar for him, and moved in the direction of the battle.

Fisher looked at the two new oponets. He was weak but would not turn down a challenge. Fisher rushed at Zurel and went behind him and striked. Fisher realized he only made a minor damage. Zurel turned around and struck Fisher down. All the wind was knocked out of Fisher. Fisher climbed to the top of a tree and thought he was safe for a second. Just then Fayrii Jumped up and slashed Fisher with his claws. Fisher barely regained his concusness. With no choice Fisher ran leaving the two warriors behind to fight.

"What was that all about?" Zurel muttered, looking to the newcomer, "Identify yourself!" he shouted.

OOC: Fayrii does not have a katana; he has his claws and a tail.

BiC: Fayrii turned to see where Zurel was pointing. He watched silently as the new fight combatant came forward, and distanced himself between the two and stood two feet in front of a tree.

"I'll ask again," Zurel said, clearly meaning Fayrii, "who are you?"

OoC:Not to take over a mod's job or be picky or anything, but if this thread should continue shouldn't you make your posts a little bit more lengthy than just a few sentences?

BiC: "My name is Fayrii Lijaro," Fayrii answered in a clear voice. "I'll bet you've never seen a Half-faerie before."
Fayrii dashed up to Zurel and makes a backhanded swipe with his right hand. Zurel dodges most of the blow when the backside of the claws catches him and sends him sprawling twenty feet. Surprised and angered, Zurel jumped to his feet and threw a punch at Fayrii. Foolisly, the Half-faerie tried to catch it. He did and was sent smashing through three trees. A small cut decorated Fayrii's cheek. SLowly, after thirty seconds, it regenerated. Fayrii got to his feet to see Zurel coming to grab him. Using his tail, Fayrii slides to the side and wraps his tail around Zurel's feet. He grabs Zurel by the arm and uses his arms and tail to throw him back thirty feet into the dirt.
Zurel gets up and faces Fayrii. Fayrii sets himself into a defensive guard.

Zurel, a bit surprised at the speed of his enemy, drew his axe. Holding the blade up high, he struck the ground with it, causing monstrous fissures to rush straight towards Fayrii. Charging forward, Zurel swung repeatedly at his agile opponent, seemingly unable to get in the blow he'd need to end the fight with a swift and bloody beheading. "How are you so fast?!" he asked his adversary, catching his breath.

BiC: "A lot of practice and some help from my genes," Fayrii answered as he dodged a blow. Zurel swung again, and Fayrii wasn't quick enough this time. The axe blade skinned his left arm. Fayrii backed away. Slowly, the arm started to heal. Zurel stood shocked, then noticed how slow it was regenerating. It dawned on him that if he hit Fayrii enough, his regeneration couldn't keep up.
Zurel swung again, and Fayrii deflected the strike with his right hand claws. His left hand came forward, and Zurel caught the hand before claws struck him in the stomach. He swung Fayrii in a circle and let go. Fayrii landed on his back. He looked up to see Zurel standing above him, his axe poised to chop Fayrii in two. Fayrii swung his tail and knocked Zurel on his feet. Then he jumped into the trees, while Zurel looked around for his hidden attacker.
Fayrii jumped out of the trees at Zurel's back.

Zurel was caught off guard by the sudden attack from behind and was knocked to the ground. Struggling to his feet, he charged again. He realized he'd have to defeat this person if he ever wanted to leave the forest, so he started attacking with all he had, finally grabbing his agile enemy and pinning him to a tree while he punched him repeatedly in the stomach and threw him down. Eager to finish the ordeal, Zurel raised his axe high and dropped it like an executioner might on a condemned man's neck.

BiC: Fayrii saw the axe up high above him and saw his life flash before his eyes. He began chanting as quickly as possible. He finished and stuck his hand out. A small black magic beam came forth, and struck the falling axe out of Zurel's hands. It jammed the axe into the ground.
Fayrii shot another at Zurel and knocked him away, leaving a burn mark on Zurel's chest. Fayrii stood up, breathing heavily, and kneeled in a salute.
"I withdraw from battle," Fayrii answered, "Although later you and I will face off again, and I will win. Until next time, warrior." Fayrii stood back up, and jumped into the trees. A small rustling sound could be heard as Fayrii left, leaping silently from tree to tree.

Zurel looked after the fleeing Fayrii and realized that this fight had been the closest to losing he had ever gotten. "Damn, that guy was tough." he muttered, grabbing his axe and leaving the forest in a renewed search of The Dome. He knew he'd need much training, from the best warriors, to defeat Fayrii again.
