Battle in Kai's Native Village(Anyone)

OoC: OK that (Anyone) means I can battle anyone, right? Anyway, I'm using my just approved char Kai MayRoe in this battle.

BiC:

Kai ran outside of his house to play with his friends, like he usually does at this time of day. But no one was there. Kai looked around. "Yo, anyone here?" he yelled. No answer. "That's odd..." Kai said to himself. Suddenly he heard a huge bang come from behind him. Kai screamed. "W-w-w-ho's there?" he yelled at the air.

OoC: This is only my first battle....Did I do this right? Someone tell me in an OoC please.

Ooc - I'm not battling, but yes, you are doing it right. (Anyone) does mean anyone, and that is how you battle. Ahk, a battle it is >:3

Bic - Sora ran away from the voice of Kai
"Who is there?" said Sora. Lai manaaged to find Sora, hiding next to a tree
"So, w-w-who are you?" spoke Sora
"Kai." said Kai. Suddenly Sora got Kai to fight. And so the fight started...

Ooc - Not much, got to shut down now. *Yawns*

OoC: OK...Yea I hope I'm doing this right.

BiC:

"Bring it on" said Kai, motioning toward him with his hand. Sora went to punch Kai. He moved out of the way. "Ha" he said. Kai ran towards sora with his Dragon Blade in his hand. He threw it at Sora, thinking it would go too fast for Sora to see what was coming. "Oh crap!" yelled Kai. Sora had dodged the throw and picked up his weapon. "Crap, just crap" thought Kai.

OoC: Um...is that right? I'm still new to this stuff.

Ooc - Yep...that's all right!

Bic - "Hmmm...maybe I should...throw this at you?" spoke Sora confidently. But Sora didn't, she just managed to crate a beam of light outside her body.

"W-h-h-at the?" said Kai confused. Suddenly, Kai jumped over Sora and tried to destroy the beam, but it was no good. Sora slashed Kai with the Dragon Blade she picked up.

BiC: Kai fell to he ground. "Ahhh! Crap!" Kai screamed. He had a big cut on his arm. But this didn't stop Kai. He got up and ran a distance away from Sora, so that she could not hit him with the blade so easily. "Uh....maybe....Aha!" Kai had an idea. Since he was right outside his house, he ran inside and took the sword out from under his bed. He ran closer to Sora. "I still have more weapons, a lot more" Kai said, grinning. He whacked Sora in the leg. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Sora screamed.

OoC: I don't need an OoC in everybattle, right?

Ooc- No, you can announce things, or say something that might cause less activeness, etc.

Bic - "Ouch...stop it!" Sora spoke. Now Sora began to whistle a soothing tune, as Kai began to get stressed and drowsy. Kai was now sustaining damage, and the only way to stop it, is if he would fight against the stress and drowsiness, before he sustained lot's and lot's of damage.

Ooc - I would do more..if there wasn't the thunderstrom outside

OoC: So uh I'm getting hurt by Sora's whistling? If I am....

BiC:

Kai dropped to the ground. "No...I...can't....stop....it....not unless...you...stop...." Kai appreared to be dieing. "Stop that NOW!" Kai yelled, despite the fact that he could barely even talk. Kai held his sword up to Sora. "I'll do it" Kai said, struggling. "I'd suggest you shut up before you die."

Bic - "...no way..." Said Sora, running away from Kai. Kai was getting weaker. Just as Sora was not in sight, Kai's friends came. But they ran off, too.

BiC:

"Guys get back here, now!" Kai yelled. But it was too late. His friends had already run off. "Wait a second....They're hurting Sora?" Kai questioned himself. Kai felt a little more strenth, now that Sora was away. He ran to Sora. "Now who's laughing?" said Kai, smiling. He raised his sword over Sora, who was lying on the ground. "You can't win." Said Sora. "Eh?" asked Kai. "Ya wanna bet?"

Bic - Suddenly and angel appeared. Then it went in front of Sora, and protected her.

"It's pretty much easy when i've got these powers, Kai!" spoke Sora. Sora brought out her red sceptant, beaming with a beautiful, red colour. Sora whacked Kai, and the angel decended.

OoC: No offense to the first thing Kai says in this.

BiC:

"Man, I've never met a person who's sucked more, Sora" said Kai, madly. Kai threw his sword at Sora's legs. "Me neither" said Sora, about to cry. Kai lay on the ground. He could barely move. "I'll see you again, Sora, trust me. You never know, my friends have a lot of things I could use." said Kai. He closed his eyes. "Get him to my house" said his closest friend. "He's probably still alive. TSora didn't hit him THAT hard."

Ooc - Wait, wait...you've gave up?

Bic - "Kai...i'm sorry...but I hope you're still alive" said Sora. Kai's friends brought Kai to Kai's house, however, Sora also helped

"*Sigh* I guess this might be it...but i'll see you..." spoke Sora sadly.

Ooc - That's okay, by the thing Kai said, btw.

OoC: Yea I guess I gave up....I'll start another battle soon, just you and me. Again. If I wan't to battle just you i'd put this as th thread title right:

People, people, people!

First off, we don't like to restrict people too much here, but we can at least expect more than one sentance in a post. I mean, a pharagraph or more cannot be too much, concidering.

Secondly, all entirely Ooc posts can just as well be done with pms, otherwise, it's really spam.

Just a point to make: unless it's something incredibly relevant and long, it should be done via PM because these tiny sentences are spam. In fact, this whole battle could easily be deemed as such.

Like HAB said, we try not to restrict anyone because this is a forum for fun... but it does sadden me a bit. A forum for writing like this one I'd hope would be filled with writing, not one sentences posts saying "Ukalalaawesomeman drew out his blade and stared."

And then it moved to the next exciting post...

"Konichiwa-sensei stared back. He noticed the sword was sharp and so he ran."

That isn't a battle. That is something that could really just be done in an instant messenger conversation. I suggest, though what you did isn't against any rule, that next time you have a battle you make it real writing, with some real length. And if you can't do that because you don't know how... that's why we have the school.

And just a tip. When you battle, you shouldn't just control your character in a sentence. You control the other person's character as well. That's how you get length, by expending beyond your characters half-a-second action and having the other character do something instead of waiting for the other guy to post what they do.

GC, as to the rule you just pointed out and wished we had, well, that may seem fine to you, You're an experianced writer. But to others, that could seem over whelming. I know that maybe it's hard to accept things that aren't up to your standards, but you really shouldn't be picky when it comes to writing. I mean, when you take in the fact that all people are different, it almost seems unreasonable to put a minimum on the BA post lengths. It's a very good idea to give guide lines on how long they should be, but some people just have trouble expanding their writing and thus their posts come out short.

Meh, fighting for a pointless cause. Also, sorry if I shouldn't be posting here (wasn't sure since the battle is over).
