OOC: Man, It's been a while since I last battled here. Guess it's time to polish my skills yet again. Ok, Like most people, I want a good fight so please respond to the battle only if you are a reasonably decent RPer. With that said, Let the battle begin.

BIC: Solitude, An unbelievably powerful emotion that has the power to crush the strongest of men and reduce the most courageous warriors to dust. Imagine living alone all of your life. No one to talk to. No one to care for you. Truly, It is a most horrifying thought.

However, Solitude and loneliness are no strangers to Alexander. On the contrary, They were the youth's constant companions for quite some time now. Ever since his hometown was destroyed by strangers who had done all that just to get to him.

These thoughts rushed through the young brown haired warrior as he gazed over the crumbled ruins before him, A pale shadow to the once peaceful village that resided there.

His hands clenched tightly for a moment as guilt rushed through him once more. Had he arrived there a bit earlier, He might have been able to save everyone. But now, It was too late. There was nothing he could do for his home now.

As a sigh of frustration escaped the young Star Shaper's throat, His mind snapped into focus as he heard the unmistakable sounds of faint footsteps behind him.

The sound was far too faint for this to be an ordinary traveller. It was only through years of training and the warrior's instinct that Alex noticed the sound.

He stood there as silent as a stone staue without even turning to face the approaching figure. Not even the slightest hint of a response showed itself on the youth's face as he waited for the figure to arrive, Sensing a mysterious aura about the stranger.

OOC: Hey! It's been awhile. I know I didn't finish our last (and only... ^_^*) fight, but I'll try to finish this one!

BIC:

Alys approached the strange boy at a leisurely pace. She cradled her Lunar Crescent Staff in her arms and unfurled her feathery wings from behind her back. The young warrior finally turned around and looked at the Elven moon angel. Alys walked closer, not looking at him but at the remains of the village, and gripped her Lunar Crescent Staff tightly in frustration.

"It's too late. It's too late to save them now. If I'd been here sooner..."

The young warrior balked in surprise at the very words he had been thinking to himself just minutes earlier. Alys suddenly turned in rage on the boy.

"Did you do this?! If so, I will make you pay tenfold for the lives you destroyed!"

The boy took a step backward as he threw up his hands. "I had nothing to do with this. On the contrary, I came here to try to save this village just as you apparently have. But..." He turned his gaze to the ruins of the village. "As you can see, we were both too late."

Alys sighed heavily and descended to her knees, using her Lunar Crescent Staff for balance. She suddenly looked up at the young warrior standing before her. She could sense something different about this boy. Some strange power that resided within him. She spoke.

"Do you have some form of a name, young one?"

The warrior again looked surprised at being spoken to. "Uh...Alexander."

Alys smiled. "Well, 'Uh...Alexander', I wish to do battle with you. Do you accept?"

OOC: Wow. That was a really long intro post...

OOC: Hey, LE! Glad to see you again. *Rubs hands in excitement* This is gonna be great.

BIC: Alexander stared at the warrior before him, His eyes swept her in an assessing glance. Her long hair that cascaded down to the middle of her back in a curtain of silver, eyes as green as emeralds and smooth pale skin. To a truly ignorant fool, All this would hint that she was no more than an beautiful female, unaware of the arts of combat which would surely spark her opponent's overconfidence and, ultimately, lead to his defeat.

It was as though her beauty was another of the weapons that she so skillfully wielded. However, Alexander knew better. As a warrior, It would be easy to determine whether a person is combat worthy or not and he knew full well that behind this unbelivably striking beauty beat the heart of an avid fighter, A warrior much more versed in combat than he was. His thoughts were then interuptted as he heard her captivating voice mutter these words.

"Well, 'Uh...Alexander', I wish to do battle with you. Do you accept?"

The young Star Shaper's face lifted towards hers and their eyes clashed for a moment in a thick silence that held volumes. His lips then curved themselves into an excited grin as he returned her smile, Trying but to no avail to hide the excitement that dwelled within him.

"I would be fool if I did otherwise. Of course, I accept." The brown haired youth replied as he saw her grip tighten around her Lunar Crescent staff.

His hands clenched his blade, The Demon Banisher, in response as the two warriors assumed their battle stances, Their eyes clashing once more in their silent dule before, In complete syncronization, The two warriors lunged at one another signalling the beginning of an extraordinary battle. A battle the likes of which have rarely, if ever, been seen.

Alys and Alexander locked blade and staff together. They struggled for a few minutes against the other, attempting to push the other away. Alys suddenly spun away from the warrior and channeled Fire into her staff. Rings of Fire surrounded the shining crystal fixated at the top, and Alys brought it down swiftly upon Alexander's head.

The smell of burned hair and skin mingled with the smell of blood as Alexander fell to his knees. Alys walked calmly over to him, knelt down to his level, and lifted his chin up to see his eyes.

"You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into, young one."

OOC: Yeah, I know, that was short. But I don't really know what Alexander can do. Plus, I hate making the first move in a fight...

BIC: As Alexander's hand rubbed his scorched forehead in a soothing massage, His eyes widened as he felt a gentle hand tilt his chin upwards.

"You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into, young one." The female elf remarked in a taunting tone in her voice as her tender yet surprisingly well toned palm held his chin.

"The same can be said for you, warrior." The youthful Star Shaper replied as his body suddenly shot into the air in an extremely graceful somersault, his booted foot barely missing a surprised Alys.

However, As Alexander soon discovered, Alys had impressively sharp reflexes. Before even touching the ground, An orb of crimson red flames shot towards him with furious speed and, to Alex's misfortune, grazed his side with relentless fury.

Utilizing almost every ounce of willpower and determination, The youth managed to subdue the pain only to find that another orb was heading his way.

This time, though, he was ready. Instinctively, His battle scarred fist rose forth to confront the blazing orb. From within the opened palm, A bolt of golden energy swirled swiftly in the boy's hand before surging out to meet the elven warrior's mighty attack.

The two energies clashed into each other, Each of them with enough force to crush any ordinary being in an instant.

As the clash drew on, Cloud upon cloud of dust rose into the air till it got so dark that one couldn't see his own hands let alone the opponent.

However, The lack of visibilty was hardly effective in deterring either of the two warriors. Both Alex and Alys drew closer to one another and, remarkably enough, they resumed the battle.

Completely oblivious to the dust cloud, The two weapons flew towards one another, Each warrior relying solely on his instinct.

Finally, The dust receded and the battleground was visible once more. Upon the battleground stood the two duelers panting slightly from exhaustion, their muscles tense as theythought of what was yet to come.

"You're pretty good... for a kid."

"Thanks. You're not half bad yourself. I didn't think you'd last that long."

"I've already told you, kid. You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into."

"I can hardly wait to find out."

Alys smiled. "It's time I add some action to this fight. Let's see how you handle this!"

Alys shot up into the sky, her Lunar Crescent Staff held straight above her head. She reached down into her deepest reserves of energy and channeled.

A thick beam of light parted the clouds directly above and illuminated Alys. She began singing a song in her native Elven tongue. The light spread across the entire area, touching even the most darkest of places. Suddenly, Alex looked down to notice an ancient rune etched into the skin of the top of his right hand. It pulsed with power and silver light, increasing as Alys's song intensified.

The original beam of light suddenly exploded into millions of tiny streaks of light that all homed in on the young warrior. Alex turned and ran, dodging as best he could the myriad light streaks. He tried to hit one back at Alys with his sword, but the light simply passed through and struck him all over his body.

Alex began to tire and more and more streaks connected with his body. Tiny, smoking holes dominated most of his body as he finally collapsed to the ground, fatigue overcoming him. Alys watched in silent satisfaction as the remainder of the light streaks slammed into Alex's body, tearing into his flesh and bloodying his clothes.
