Battle in a Castle (anyone)

The air was warm, the fire was lit and the merriment couldn't be... well... merry!
Everyone was enjoying the new-year celebrations. The banners were various shades of red, green and orange. Suddenly, the lights went out. The fire flickered and blew itself out. Then, emerging from the shadows on the wall, a monster shot straight out and landed on the table, sending cups and plates flying in all directions. Everyone screamed and began to ran away, many of them shedding tears.

"That's right" declared Nemesis loudly, "run, mortals! I am the Nemsis Reality virus! And I am going to strip this dimension of all of its happiness! Then all will know despair!"

Suddenly, a spear struck from behind him. Turning, he saw the white face of a horror-strucken guard. Nemsis pulled out the spear, as the man turned and ran, nemsis threw the spear at the man. It narrolly missed. Suddenly, a voice came from behind him;

"HALT!"

OoC: Anyone can join in this fight! I'm new to this, but don't go easy on me!

OoC:This is the last battle Drago Universi will have until his improvments are done. Before we begin I would like to ask for a link to your character.

OoC: Heh heh... this'll be fun.

BiC: Drago stared directly at Virus. An ackward creature Drago would admit, but he's seen worse.

Drago yelled at Virus, "What is a horrid thing like you doing here?" Drago waited for a reply.

Suddenly Virus barked back, "I'm here to destroy all that people love in this world!"

Drago waited for a few seconds then pulled out his sword. "I will say it is annoying, but destroying it is going to far, monster." Drago said as he walked around Virus in a circle.

Virus looked at Drago then thought to himself, This dragon has alot of anger inside him... perfect. Drago raised an eyebrow at Virus then yelled, "I am Drago Universi, the Dragon Overlord!" Drago expected a reponse, but didn't get one. "Fine then don't talk," murmured Drago, "JUST DIE!!!" Drago roared as he charged Virus.

Nemsis watched the dragon's charge. "clumbsy oaf" he thought in a sneer.

Feeding off the anger inside the dragon, Virus watched as the sword swung upwards over Drago's head and...

"Where'd he go?" said Drago, "He was here just a minute ago!"

Suddenly, Virus lunged straight at Drago, slamming him with one arm. Drago flewback on his feet, but was not knocked down. Relentlessly, Virus unsheathed the scythes on his arms and began to slash away.

OoC: Yeah, this should be pretty cool.

Drago blocked each swipe with his sword. It was quite hard. He was blocking quite a few attacks from every direction. Drago swore as every time a arm flew at him. Drago tried to find Virus's weakness, but there seemed to be no flaws.

Drago thought hard then realized the reason it was so hard it kill is because it grew stronger every second. How does it do that? Drago thought as he ducked under a deadly attack. It struck him. Drago realized this thing worked off him, but how? Then Drago started to try things. After quite a few painful experiments, Drago calmed himself and suddenly the growing power stopped. That's it! Drago thought as he smiled.

"So you work off of emotions do you? Well... that makes me happy that I spent a year of my life working on not being angry!" Drago then threw a punch at the Virus and sent him flying into a wall. Virus grunted as his strange form slid to the ground. Drago ran over to him and slammed him against a wall. "Try getting out of this one!" Drao said.

Virus groaned. No one had ever figured out his secret so quickly. This dragon was quite formidable. Now the dragon had just slammed him into the wall. He was panting heavily. I think I know how to turn this to my advantage... thought Virus, If he won't feed ME with anger, then I'll pour all my sadness into HIM!

Standing back up, he simply looked at Drago. Rather then absorbing feelings that were currently not there, he would force Drago to relive the curse of his being. His breathing grew slower and slower as he calmed and centred himself. Then he prepared the well of sadness within him.

"What are you?" demanded Drago.
"I am the thing that goes bump in the night," said Virus, "I am the thing that haunts your every nightmare. I am the end of all of life! I am the Reality Virus! And now, you will know true despair as you bear the sadness of a thousand races!"
"Meaning?" asked Drago.
"In the dimensions I come from, many creatures died out into extinction. I am created from the sadness, pain and death of those creatures! Thousands of them! And now, you will feel my sadness!"

Drago clamped both hands to his head, dropping his sword as images flashed before his very eyes. Virus walked slowly towards him...

How is this possible?! Drago thought as the sad images appered and dissappered before his eyes. Virus got closer and closer very slowly as Drago was overcome by the memories. Then an old picture of his past flew before his eyes. In the picture was a beautiful woman with a worried expression on her face, looking out at the night sky.

I'm fighting... for her... Drago thoughtas more images of this woman appered infront of his eyes. Virus raised one of his scythes flew toward Drago's head.

"NO!" Drago roared as he grabbed his sword and smashed the blow to the left.

"Impossible!" Virus hissed as Drago stood up with a new look in his eye.

"I'll never be conquered by an evil creature such as you... I fight for someoone I hold dear and you rival everything she loves." Drago whispered as he got in his fighting stance, "Prepare to die!" Drago roared as he kept his temper and charged the damned creature.

With Drago's swords swinging from pretty much every possible angle, Virus was finding it hard to simply block, even with twin scythes. And yet, Drago had complete control over his temper. A true warrior.

Suddenly, Drago grinned with an idea. Virus' skin crawled. Suddenly, within the dragon's onslaught, a tail appeared virtually out of nowhere and struck Viru's chin. Toppling back onto his 9th leg, and balancing almost perfectly, Virus was defenceless!

In two clean moves Drago swiped at the 9th leg, and then one of the front legs. The limbs dropped to the floor, where the green slime known as blood oozed out and began steaming as it burned a hole in the floor. Virus dropped, bounced on his bulbuos back and lay on the ground, writhing and screaming in agony.

Drago approached. "Now," he said, "time to finish you!"

As he raised the sword up high, he prepared to plunge it deep into Virus.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." hissed a voice from behind.
He felt a scythe on his shoulder, by his neck. Then another at the other side. Lowering the sword, he was spun around and stared into the face off...
"TWO VIRUSES?" he roaored.
"Unless you actually stomp us into the ground, we'll regnerate from lost limbs." said the virus clone.
Roaring, he prepared a magical assault that would wipe out the two viruses, and leave nothing to regenrate...

Drago cursed as he ducked under the sycthes. The two Virus's charged at him. Drago ran over to the way and ran up it. He jumped off the wall and landed behind the Virus's.

"Eat this!" Drago yelled as he held up his hand. It glowed black and thousands of black beams lauched from it and began to smash the Viruses into the wall. Drago ran forward while firing and sliced at them with his sword. The bodies fell to the ground.

"And stay dead!" Drago said as he prepared for anything.

From behind Drago, came a voice.

"Very good, dragon. Your dimension is safe for a little while. But I'll be back one day, stronger then ever!"

Turning, he saw Virus sinking slowly back into the shadows.

Drago grunted as he walked out the back door of the house. He whispered to himself, I'm coming home..." Drago then left the area, never to return in this form again...
