Fight in a thick forest

A deer and it's fawn moved through the thick forest. The mother stopped every once in a while to graze, while her young son investigated this world he just so recently was born into.
A sudden move among the trees made the deer look up, but as nothing more happened she returned to her grass. The young fawn however was intruged by this and moved away from his mother.
As he walked further away from his mother, he saw a strange thing hanging down from a tree. It looked nothing like he had ever seen before. It resembled both a snake and a vine at the same time, yet it was nothing like it at all. The baby deer moved closer and nibbled on the mysterious thing. Maybe it would give him milk?
This was a very bad move. Meeghra had awaited this, and before the young animal knew what happened she left her hiding spot in the tree and landed gracefully on the ground. With one swipe from her left hand, using her claws, she cut it's throat open. Blood flooded out and the animal gave one last breath before his life left his body and he fell down to the now red earth.
The mother deer somehow had felt that everything wasn't right and she moved up to her dead son. She sniffed at him, but the smell of blood scared her away. She ran into the forest.
Meegrha watched with an amused smile on her lips. She had come across this world by accident while she was travelling through the Lost Woods of Hyrule. There didn't seem to be any larger life forms, like Hylians or Humans, not even Dekus. Just these deers and a few wolfos. She thought she had spotted some other creatures, but she wasn't sure. Meeghra turned her attention back to the fawn. She kneeled beside him and buried her teeth deep in his body, ripping of large chunk of meat. she ate until a sound reached her ears,. By that time, the dead animal was nearly gone. Her left ear twitched, someone was drawing closer. she had been so busy with her meal she had not heard until now. Meeghra took a leap into a nearby tree and made sure not to let her tail hang down this time. Whatever it was approaching it wasn't a grasseater. The bloodscent would have scared them away. So Meeghra hid herself, waiting for the creature to show itself.


OoC: Maybe I should mention that any good fighter can reply to this.

IC: Natika had been wandering around the forest for a while, suddenly he had sensed a struggle for life, bloodspilling and fear in the air, a moment after that, he had seen a deer fleeing from something, he went to investigate. He saw this strange creature eating from a fawn, he quickly hid in the bushes because apparently the creature had heard him, it looked around but didn't see him, he saw it climbing up a tree. He slowly walked in direction of the tree supported by his staff, he stopped ten feet from it, and said in a loud and squeeky voice. "Not very wise of you to kill an innocent fawn of the forest. I protect this forest and i shall make you pay for this."

OoC: Sorry not very long post, waiting for your first move, i'll try and make my posts to come in this thread longer than this one.

Meeghra dropped down from her hideout among the branches and landed with a thud on the ground.
"You dare question me for eating?" She eyed the Deku.
"This forest does not house Deku's. You must have come here from Lost Woods." The Deku nodded. "Correct. My name is Natika, may I ask for yours?"
The catlike female growled. "I go by the name Meeghra."
"Very well then, Meeghra. I can't let you go kill the innocent animals of this forest, no matter how hungry you are. Let the battle begin"
Meeghra rushed forwards in an attempt of slashing the deku with her claws. He simply moved to the side, and let her pass.
She smiled. This could turn out to be a good fight.


OoC: sorry for the shortness, I'm not good with first move.

Meeghra rushed forward to attack yet again, she attempted to slash Natika, he hit her in the face with his staff she backed away he blasted a energy ball out of the end of his staff, she dodged it. "Do not underestimate me, i am a powerful mage." She attempted to slash him again but he blasted her back, she backed away.

OoC: Ok, this was extremely short, but i need to know what kind of attacks you can bring before making long posts.

Meeghra gorlwed. Again she dashed at the deku and again he tried to fend her off with his staff. This time, however, she wouldn't let him slip that easily. As the staff came down on her
she swiftly moved to her left, just enough to avoid the staff.
With her right hand she made five deep cuts on the deku's body. They immediatly began filling with blood and the forest mage let out a squeeky yell of pain. Meeghra took her chance to steal
Natika's staff. Maybe it would weaken him she tought as she took the staff between her teeth.
It was foolish of her. She shouted of surprise and pain as green flames shot out from the staff. Her mouth ached and the wooden piece fell to the ground were it was collected by Natika.
"I told you I was powerful." He said.

OoC: another short post...this is bad...

OoC: i'm sorry about the short reply yesterday, i was at my friend's and didn't have much time to write in, i just thought i'd continue, though it was to be a short post. I'm sorry to make yet another short post, but i'm out of inspiration, i might need to go to some battle arena school, and i wouldn't mind knowing what your character can actually do, does she have any magic or can she only scratch and bite.

IC: Natika touched his wounds with his left finger and they amazingly healed in less than a second. "You cannot hurt me, Meeghra, i'm the most powerful deku mage ever." Meeghra looked surprised. "Yes i do know your name, i know things. I will do all that is in my power to prevent you from hurting the creatures and plants of the forest. Well enough of the talking, if all you can do is scratching and biting, you'll have a hard time defeating me." He pointed his staff at her and mumbled some strange words in an ancient language, suddenly 4, 6 feet tall treemen came out from the bushes, they started attacking Meeghra. Meeghra kicked one of them, it had absolutely no effect, she slashed it, no effect either, she slowly started backing away from them.

OoC: Actually, meegrha mostly uses biting and scratching. But I guess she'll have to use something more in this fight!^-^

BiC: The treemen moved closer to Meeghra, one lashed out a branch and hit her hard in the side. She growled in frustration. The wooden warriors surrounded her and hid her opponent from her sight. She could hear him laughing though. A sudden rage overhelmed her. The powers she had stolen from mages summoning her stirred inside her, growing stronger by the minute.

The treemen moved backwards forced by this strange power.
Natika did not notice as his creatures continued attacking even though they only hurt thin air.
Using her powers, Meeghra opened up a hole in the weave of worlds. She could have left the battle, there and then, but instead she simply moved out from the treewarriors reach.

She came out behind Natika, he was still occupied with keeping the treemen attacking what he thought was his opponent. Slowly, careful not to make any sounds, she unsheated the dagger she carried in her belt. As she came closer to the Deku mage she held the dagger in front of her.

Right as she was about to let the dagger sink into Natika's wooden skull, he spun around and blocked her arm with his staff.
"Can't fool me that easily." He said with a smile.
The demon smiled back.
"I wondered when you would turn around." She answered and kicked the small Deku. She thought she could her the sound of ribs cracking as her foot connected with his body. Natika flew back and crashed into a tree.

He sank motionless to the ground. The catlike female moved up to him and wrinkled her nose. He didn't smell dead, which was good.
She was intressted in this deku, if he truly was as powerful as he said, it might be a good idea to steal his powers.
Meeghra moved back again and waited for the deku to come to his senses. She wanted to make sure that his powers were real and simply not words.

The treemen had now stopped attacking mid-air and turned around, saw their target standing still, they ran at her and attempted an attack, she quickly did that warp thing again and dissappeared, they looked around, confused, they saw her standing by a tree, they quickly ran at her again. It continued like this and it kept Meeghra occupied.

Meanwhile Natika opened his eyes again, he could feel pain in his chest, probably his ribs that were broken. "I'll make her regret this." He whispered to himself, "i guess i underestimated her. No more fooling around, now i will show her my true power." He healed his bones with a little touch, and got up. "Stupid treemen." He said and pointed a finger at them. They instantly stopped chasing Meeghra around and started walking away.

Natika lifted his arms and closed his eyes, the sky turned jet black. Suddenly Meeghra looked around, they were no longer standing in the forest, the were standing on a huge open field, surrounded by mountains, she looked shocked. "I've transported us to another dimension as not to make any further damage to the forest." Natika said, laughing. He fired a beam of lightning at Meeghra she dodged. "Now this is going to be fun." She said. "Don't worry i'm only warming up." Natika laughed. He conjured a big green energy ball and shot it at Meeghra.

OoC: I know, not too long, but i'm still new to this battling stuff, and as i said before, i still need some inspiration, though i have no idea where it should come from

OoC: Don't worry, I'm not that good either ^-^

BiC: Meeghra laughed as she dodged the green energy that came flying towards her. It continued past her and struck the ground, creating a large crater. The Deku frowned and pointed his staff at her. Green mist floated out from the tip of it and began filling the air.
The smell of rotten leaves and ancient forest reached Meeghra's nose and she coughed.

More and more of this green smoke flowed out from Natika's staff and the female demon had a hard time seeing anything. She tried to attack him but he had dissappeared and the mist hid his scent.
Not only that, but she began feeling dizzy from it too.
Meeghra closed her eyes, and hoped her ears would lead her right.

The deku moved uneasily, he didn't know what she was doing. The sound of his movement reached her ears and she attacked.
He was surprised by her attack and she managed to land on him, her weight pinned him to the ground.

Natika wriggled to get loose but Meeghra wouldn't let him off that easily.
She made a swipe with her right hand, leaving five nice cuts over the Deku's left eye. As his arms was kept to his sides he had no possibility to heal.

Suddenly the demon noticed that the mist was changing. It became thicker and it swirled around Meeghra in a very
unpleasant way.
Her eyes widened as the missed pushed her away from Natika, giviing him the chance to get to his feet.
"You should know by now how powerful I am." he said, as the mist held her in a firm grasp.
She wondered what he would do to her.

OoC: I don't know what kind of magic you use..sorry if I did something wrong.

OoC: Well, i use different kinds of magic you did nothing wrong. These 2 fighters does not fit eachother very well may i add, one is a magician, the other is a non-magical creature that uses claws and stuff, that makes it hard to post something that really makes sense.

BiC: Meeghra felt very helpless as she was stuck in the mist. Natika looked into her hateful eyes. He lifted his hand and suddenly the mist was gone, he pointed a finger at Meeghra, it felt as if some invisible power was preventing her from moving, she could do nothing. "I can't let you hang there for ever, that would be unfair." He pointed his staff at her, a bolt of lightning shot out of it, it hit her in the chest, she screamed in pain. He tilted his head to the side, "Got enough yet?" He asked and shot a bolt of lightning at her again, she screamed in pain. Suddenly the invisible power was no longer holding her in the place, she fell to the ground, coughing and hacking. "Now show me what you've got, Meeghra." Meeghra's rage was building up, she wanted to strangle the pesky little Deku, but she knew, that it wouldn't be possible as things were just now, she had no idea how to beat him. He seemed unbeatable at the moment. She got up, lightning in her eyes, then she used her immense speed to attack Natika, he barely had time to react, before she had kicked the staff out if his hands, it landed 10 foot away, she hit him in the face multiple times, and kicked him in the stomach. Natika blasted her away with a fireball, and went to pick up his staff. Meeghra had some burnings across the face from the fireball but no further damage had been done.

OoC: Meeghra can use magic, the one she stole from the mages that summoned her. But as it is unstable for her I haven't used it yet. Maybe I should.

BiC: Meegrha was furious.This small creature had already proven to be a strong opponent but he kept healing himself. It made the battle unfair somehow. She, a strong demon, who had never cared about things like that suddenly felt an urge to crush the woodlike mage, show him what happened when you messed with her.

The power of magic filled her and her eyes glowed in an eerie light. She raised her arm and a beam of white energy shot out from her open palm. It flew right at Natika who had no chance to avoid it. The beam hit right in the chest and made the deku fly backwards, bouncing a few times on the ground.

She continued by sending yet another energy blast at him, bt this one flew into the sky without even touching the Deku. She grunted, this magic was new to her, she didn't know how to coontrol it.
The Deku mage heaved himself from the ground, staggering. This was a surprise for him. He rose a shield to protect him if Meeghra would do something else, and began healing himself.


OoC: Short, but I have to eat

Natika was fully healed he removed the shield because when he had that shield he wouldn't be able to use his own magic. Meeghra shot another beam at him, but this time he was ready. He quickly fired a green "Counter" beam, it pushed back the beam Meeghra had fired, slowly he was gaining control. Suddenæy meeghra's beam vanished, it wasn't powerful enough to hold against Natika's beam, the beam continued straight at Meeghra, it hit her with a blow, she got blasted back, and hit a stone head first, she passed out. "This is the time, for it." He lifted his hands and shouted: "ome to me ancient creatures of the forest, aid me in my quest to rid the forests of the world from this evil power" Suddenly the ground was shaking, Meeghra woke up. The shaking had created a huge crack in the ground, out of it came a green dragon. The ground stopped shaking and the big crack in the ground closed itself again. The dragon flew high into the air and stopped. Looking down at Meeghra.

OoC: Can you see the Hylian font? Cuz i'm not sure if it works on comps that does not have it installed.

Meeghra stared at the dragon. It stared back and roared, but it didn't hurt her. The demon turned to Natika, rubbing her aching head. "Little Deku, I thought you said you knew me. But you seem unaware of that I, too, once was a creature for mages like you to summon. And know I controll my summoning myself, as well as others."

Meeghra waved her arm in the air and the dragon landed on the ground. It moved up to her and she leaned on it.
"This dragon comes from my world, it will not hurt me, even if you have told it to do so." Natika was startled by this, but found himself quickly. He shouted to the dragon to attack, but it only turned away from him.

The mage mumbled to himself and the dragon dissappeared in a puff of green smoke.
"I must say, Meeghra, that dragon have helped me alot. Will it always be like this?"
"No, he just recognised me. He will do as you wish in other battles
but not in this one."
"Then let us continue with our battle." The Deku said.

Meeghra nodded and attacked with her dagger. Natika blocked with his staff and Meeghra answered with a punch in his stomach. He bent over from the blow and she moved past him. A light kicks in his back made him fall over and he landed on the ground, gasping for air.

OoC: Well, that translation might look a bit strange, cuz some of the letters are not to be found in Hylian, but i guess it was understandable anyway

BiC: Natika got up, supported by his staff. "I guess, that this is gonna be harder than i expected." Natika mumbled to himself. Meeghra charged him again, but right when she was about to slash him, he froze her with a spell, and blasted her away, landing on her back. "Don't make me kill you." He shouted at her in a squeeky, yet calm deku voice. They looked into eachothers eyes, both full of hatred.

Meeghra got up, Natika fired a beam of lightning at her, she dodged and started running at him with all her speed, she dodged another beam and slashed him in the head, his staff went flying. She grabbed him, and smacked him up against a rock wall. "Don't make me kill you, might that be the question asked now? I think it is."

The black clouds were turning even darker, the only sound present was the strong wind blowing. It started raining, and thundering, Meeghra looked up. "That up there means that one of us are going to be dead at the end of this battle." Meeghra said to the little deku. "Yes, it does, and that one's not gonna be me."
Natika's eyes turned to his staff, he made it hover, it flew through the air without Meeghra noticing and hit her on the side of the head, she let him go and he dropped to the ground landing on his feet. He grabbed his staff, and turned to point it at the head of Meeghra, she was lying on her back, looking up in the thunder clouds. "Why shouldn't i end it now, give me a good reason?"

Meeghra glanced at the Deku. She hid a smile. "The reason why you shouldn't end this now, is that I belive you want to win."
Natika seemed surprised at her words.
"Are you then so truly stupid, that you fail to realize that I am winning" He asked, confident in his skills.
"Stupidity has nothing to do with this." the demon answered.

Meeghra could feel her powers growing inside her body. She focused them on a spot below her, and opened up a hole to other worlds. The Deku gave had no time preparing himself for this and as his female opponent fell through the earth he had no choice but to follow.

Everything was dark around them. No stars were visible, but then again there had never been stars in this world. Meeghra new much of this world. It was one of the first she had ever been to using her own powers. The Deku was unconscious.
She could have left him there, it would be hard for him to return to his world. But Meeghra dropped him on the ground.
His staff began glowing, lighting up their surroundings. They were standing on an open plain.
Meeghra sat down next to Natika and waited for him to wake up.

She soon became tired of it and rose to her feet. She kicked him, flipping him over to his back. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. Natika screamed as he saw Meeghra and quickly got to his feet. "Where are we? Answer me Demon!" He squeeked.
She couldn't help but to burst out laughing.
That didn't help the Deku at all and he fired of a beam of green magic at her. She had a tough time avoiding it as she was still laughing.
