Enter the Forest (Kitten - Ai Miyazaki)

OoC: The official reason for this is Kitten stole my Komodo dragon leg. Unofficially, I just wanted to have some fun. I'm using Chetarren Caesar.

BiC: It was a night like any other, with the waning moon hanging high overhead in the sky. What little light it gave out failed to penetrate the forest canopy, leaving the ground beneath too dark for human eyes to see. But the creature stalking his prey was no human; to him, the darkness seemed as a field during the full moon.

Chetarren crept forward, his hooves silent on the soft ground. He could see his prey up ahead, kneeling by a small stream, completely oblivious to the centaur’s presence. He had heard tales of the creature’s sorcerous powers, and had determined it as a worthy opponent for a warrior of his experience and skill.

Chetarren watched as the half-human creature rose from beside the stream, pulling his arm back, ready to throw his great spear. Watching his prey walk away from him through the trees, Chetarren took a few small steps forwards, exhaled, and threw the weapon with all of his strength.

Whether his white-haired prey heard the spear rushing through the forest air, or the breath Chetarren had let loose, he couldn’t tell, but the creature leapt to one side and moved deeper into the forest, suddenly alert. Knowing the element of surprise had been lost, Chetarren grinned and abandoned his previous caution. He galloped straight for the half-demon, snatching up his fallen spear as he went, hammer raised in one arm.

OoC: Wow...two challenges? Im finally getting Popular in the BA. Sorry about the whole 'pity' thing, I didn't knwo what to think of >>


Ic: Ai Miyazaki had never seen a centaur before, And she never wanted to , especially one rushing at her with a hammer. As the centaur struck, Ai did a backflip away from the Centaur. "What the hell did I do to get you mad?" Ai said angrilly. Two battles in a week, Everyone is attacking me lately...damn. Ai thought. She slashed threatningly with her claws and snarled, signaling that she did not want to battle. But the Centaur just stopped and talked. " I do not care that you don't want to battle. You stole food from me."Said the centaur. Now I remember, I had taken away his food, a snake, from him. Ai thought. "Is that enough to hunt me over?" Ai snarled. She rushed at the Centaur and tripped him, and the Centaur fell hard, sticking his spear in the ground.

"Yes. Now I shall hunt you down and eat you." The centaur said. Ai was appauled. "WHAT?????? EAT ME????" She screamed. This made her very, very angry. She drew Tenkaiana and rushed at the Centaur and kicked him in the chest. Only when she realized it was the waning moon. Ai's hair went black and her eyes blue and her dog ears shrivled to human ears, her claws and fangs disappeared, and Tenkaiana transformed into a rusty battered sword. "Damnit!" Ai exclaimed. This means I have to fight this centaur with nothing but my fists and feet and the untransformed Tenkaiana until morn. Ai thought in despise. The centaur had a look of gratification on his face as he trotted over to her. "You should be easier now, hmm?" He said. Ai felt fear and bared her human teeth at the familiar pain of being weak.

"Leave me alone, please, the only reason I stole your kill was because I was desprately hungry, you must know the feeling of that pain. Everyone eats everyone, thats a fact. What is put in the past cannot be changed in the future." Ai said. She felt pity among the centaur. "Fine, but still, would you like to finish out fight, just for the hell of it? My name is Chetarren Caesar." The centaur said, mock in his eyes. "Sure, but we will inflict wounds on each other, and who ever wins and the other dies, gets to eat the deceased loser."

Ai got up and kicked Chetarren in the chest, knocking him away.

OoC: Hmmm...that's not quite the reason I had in mind for Chetarren fighting, but it'll do. So long as I can ignore the "I want to eat you" part - 'twould remind him of undead sentiments. And he doesn't like the undead.

BiC: The half-demon suddenly struck, arcing her blade up towards Chetarren's face. The centaur ducked forward under the blow, knocking it further off-course with the shaft of his spear. Suddenly unbalanced, his opponant stumbled, but turned the movement into a role before Chetarren could strike with his hammer. She spun back towards him, weapon held warliy before her.

Smiling grimly, Chetarren reversed his grip on the spear, bringing the head in line with Ai's chest. To her surprise, the centaur then backed away for several metres, his hammer held only loosely in one hand. Fearing some kind of trick from the grey-haired warrior, she remained where she was, watching.

Suddenly, her enemy shifted his grip again, this time holding the spear like a short lance. Chetarren roared a battlecry and galloped towards her, the spearhead aimed straight at her heart - and no time to dodge the fatal blow.

OoC: Sorry there wasn't actually much action, but I'd like to see how you get out of this one. Both are relatively uninjured, but Ai has a half-ton centaur bearing down on her, full speed, only metres away.
