Junai's Quest Continues-Part II (2 on 2)

Scenario:
My creative juices aren't flowing at this point, so once the players show up maybe then I'll have something, or possibly someone else.

Well, my only response right now is, the saga continues. Although this time Junai runs into an extra opponent so he needs a little help from someone else. And since Junai has no allies (not to which I know of) someone steps up to help.

So there you go, just need 3 others to join in on this and the battle will ensue.

You neen some help? Well, I could give you a helping hadn if you want to. Sure I got some fights going on, butI think I can handle one more. So, what do you say, want me to help ya?

Hmmm, a two on two match eh? Yeah okay! I'll join your cult, er a, I'll join your cult. Whatever I'm in! Not sure what character I'll use, I might make a new one.

Of course Malony, you can help me. Now we just need a partner for The Deku Link.

I'll help out Deku Link! Like Malony, I am in the middle of a few other battles, but I don't think one more could hurt. Like Deku Link, I might be trying out a new character, but if he's not approved by the time the battle starts, I can just as easily use my approved charcter, Drakan. Thanks!

Well, now that that's settled, you guys(and gals) need to choose your characters that you'll be using in this battle. Once that's set, the battle can begin.

I'm waiting for them to approve my new character, Kaos, but if it takes too long, I'll just use my regular fighter, Drakan. I'll tell you when my new fighter gets approve!

Edit: Okay, my new character just got approved, so, in this fight, I will be using my Celestial character, Kaos.

Okay, I haven't gotten any other characters approled yet, so I'll be using Maverick. Good luck every one!

Oh, which one shall I pick? One, two or three? Thogh decision.. I think I stick to good ol' Malony. So, anyone who want to make the intro?

OOC: I'll write the intro!

In Character:

Junai trudged quietly along the old dirt road. On the right side of the road was a peaceful, almost endless meadow, while a quiet stream rushed by the path on the left side.

It was midnight, and the only light that showed the way down the road was the light from the moon and stars. What little light there was reflected off the surface of the stream.

Junai did not need any light, though. He could easily see his path. The gods guided him towards his destination.

After walking for a while, Junai could see two figures in the distance. For a normal human, it would have been impossible to make out the identity of the two mysterious figures. Junai, though, was anything but normal. “Maverick and Kaos” he said under his breath.

Maverick waited impatiently on the dirt road. On the other side of the road, Kaos sat huddled over, muttering some incoherent language.

Maverick began to tap his foot on the dirt, growing bored of waiting. “Are you sure he’s going to be here? I could be out burning villages right now!”

Kaos looked up at the Demon Rito for a moment, almost as if he were about to speak. Then, just as quickly, Kaos bent his head down and continued to mutter random words. Maverick sighed. "I hate you."

The two had made an uneasy partnership in order to help each other defeat a mutual foe. Junai, warrior of the gods.

Suddenly, without looking up, Kaos pointed out towards the dirt road. Maverick looked out. A smirk crossed his face. Junai was here.

“Well, well, well. Speak of the devil.” Maverick said.

Junai ignored the comment. “You two are Maverick and Kaos. You have been labeled as prey of the gods. I am here to carry out judgement.”

Kaos got up and smirked at the warrior, almost as if he were gloating.

“You seem to be mistaken, warrior.” Maverick said. “You’re out number. I think we’ll be the ones passing judgement.”

“Mind if I join in?” A mysterious voice called out. Out of the darkness stepped a young, half elf girl. It was none other than Malony.

Junai was confused by Malony’s presence. “What are you donig here?”

“I heard you were going to try taking these two out,” Malony said, pointing at Kaos and Maverick. “I thought I might lend a hand.”

Kaos’ eyes narrowed, angered by the presence of this new fighter. Maverick, on the other hand, smirked at the idea of more blood to spill.

“If you two still think you can defeat us, then just try it,” Maverick said, preparing himself for battle.

OOC: Nice intro.

BIC:
"Defeat you?", Malony asked with a doubtfull face. "I can beat whoever I want, nobody scares me", she continued.
"Very well then", Maverick said and grined.
"I will enjoy your company in this quest, Malony. With your help I am sure that I will succed in my misson", Junai spoke.
"Shall we get this thing started", Drakan interfeared.
"sure".

OOC: I am sorry about this short post, but I am in a hurry..

OOC: Sorry about interrupting, but I just wanted to clear something up for Malony and Junai (Deku Link already knows this).

I'm not using Drakan for this battle. I'm using my new character, Kaos. I don't blame you for making this mistake, though, I wrote that I'd be using Drakan a lot, but changed it to Kaos at the last minute. Just to clear that up for the fight.

And now, back to the battle!

"Okay, now that, that's outta the way, let's light this candle!" With that he whips out his guitar and begins to fire a rapid barrage of electrically charged bullets. "HAHAHA! Let's see how you like me now!!!!" Call me trigger happry will they?" With Maverick's free hand, he begins to charge up a bunch of Din's Fires, creating even more trouble for Malony and Junai.

"Well...I'll just make this a little more difficult for you."
Junai then rose his hands to the sky and out of nowhere, a burst of light shot down on him. It soon faded, but the light had now wrapped around Junai himself.
"And just for healthy measure, I'll start off my battles like I always do."

Maverick suddenly couldn't move and now lost his grip on his guitar. He strained himself to look over in Kaos' direction and noticed he to was pulled up in the air by a strange force. Junai smirked as he looked at the two, and then he bent his fingers sending them flying into the air.
"I hope your not going to use that all through the fight." Malony said.
"In this match, it's highly doubtful...I'd be wasting energy."
"Good, well at least I know I'll get a chance at them."

Junai looked up at the sky and noticed two figures coming down at alarming speeds. He grinned once more, then said to Malony, "Step back."
Two small craters had formed into the ground. Each with a body. Junai grinned slightly, then muttered, "I guess I didn't release them high enough."

Pain. This was a new feeling for the Celestial. Never before had he experienced such a thing. Most beings wouldn’t have liked their first taste of pain and agony. Kaos, though, enjoyed this new feeling quite a lot. He relished the idea of sharing this feeling with his new “friends”.

“Well then hurry up and do it, already! I’m dying of boredom and blood loss over here!” Maverick said as he pulled himself out of the crater. Kaos looks at Maverick with a puzzled look on his face, confused by the demon’s reply. “Yes, yes, I can read you’re thought. Now hurry up and attack, Meow-boy!”

Kaos didn’t reply, but simply sat quietly in the crater and began to hum to himself.

“You stupid bastard! Get up and fight! Don’t make me come in there, young man!” Maverick began to yell.

Malony and Junai simply stared at the two, a comical sweat drop on each of their foreheads.

“Are these guy for real?” Malony asked Junai. Junai merely shook his head.

“The gods have obviously lost faith in my talents.”

Growing bored of humming, Kaos wandered out of the crater towards his two opponents.

“It’s about time, Cat-boy!” Maverick said angrily.

“It appears our opponents are actually ready to fight.” Junai said.

Kaos merely looked at his opponents for a moment, a perplexed look on his face. Then, a smirk crossed his lips. The Celestial reached into his coat pocket and pulled out an ancient iron mask. Slowly, he put the magical mask on to his face.

Suddenly, Kaos’ body began to increase drastically in size. Within seconds, Kaos towered over the other three fighters.

Taking advantage of his size, Kaos raised his foot and stamped it down where Malony and Junai stood. The two had just enough time to jump out of the way. Still in control of the battle, Kaos slammed his paw into the earth near where the two stood. The attack knocked the two into the air.

While the two were still airborne, Maverick hit both of them with two electrical attacks from his guitar gun. Finally, the two warriors hit the ground with a devastating crash.

“This is gonna be tougher than it looks.” Junai said as he picked himself off the ground.

IC: Junai loved the feeling of pain. This feeling was a little weak to his stantards, but it was still there nonetheless. He noticed Kaos was going for another round with his foot, and Junai wasn't going to take that again. He summoned his strength and transformed himself into his demon form, just in time to catch the giant's blow with his Ifrit Gauntlet and send the oaf falling backwards down on his own opponent.

Kaos transformed back to his original form and realized when he turned around that he had knocked out Maverick. Junai looked at them both and shook his head. He walked a few meters back just behind Malony and sat down. He then lowered his head, then said to Malony.
"Go for it...I might as well let you have some fun while your here."

OoC: I know its short, but hey, I can't have all the fun. ^_^

"Thank you, Junai", Malony said and smiled.
"Soo.. what will I Do with these opponents" she tought for herself. As she thoguht she forgot the pain from the previous attack. After a while she looked satisfied, she had thoguht out a plan.

Malony walked around to watch the sceen. Farther away she could see both Kaos and Maverick. It looked like they were entertinging themselves with talking about what they would do wfter they had finnished this battle.

"Isn't that a little to early tto talk about a victory?" she said and interrupted them in ther chat.
"Why? I am sure what my team is going to win", Kaos said and looked up from his discusion.

To that Malony did not reply, but she pulled out her sword instead. Both her opponends puleld out their weponds too, ready to defend themselves, or more like making their own attacks too. Malony started to walk towards both ot them, and looked really confident. Walking up aginst two skilled wariors sure toke a lot of confidence. But when she was half way there, she stoped and than stuck down her sword into the ground. With a loud and cracking sound the ground underneith them started to shelv. After that it all happends really fast. A fissure had apperd directly under their feet, and in jsut some seconds, the ground had swallow them.

"Few are fast enough fo eape from my cracking magic", malony smiled. She walked till the edge on hte fissure and looked down. Many meters down she coudl see them laying upon eachoter groaning from pain. Kaos leg looked like beeing in a odd position. Could it be broken?

Malony looked down at her two opponents. Both were groaning in pain, and Kaos’ leg looked as if it would snap off. Malony turned her head back to Junai. “I don’t think they’re getting back up!” she called out and looked back down the hole.

Suddenly, Kaos opened his eyes and a grin appeared on his feline face. “Hi there!” the cat called out, surprising the half-elf quite a bit.

Slowly, the celestial began to pick his body off the ground. In a most disturbing motion, Kaos grabbed his injured leg and twisted it in a 360-degree angle before snapping it back into place. He then looked up at Malony from the crater.

“That was a lot of fun! Now it’s my turn!” Kaos said. The celestial then pulled an earth-tone mask out of his trenchcoat. The mask had decorative vines around it with green eyes. With a chuckle, Kaos put this new mask on.

At Kaos’ command, a pillar of earth rose out of the ground. Kaos stood atop this pillar, smiling down at his opponents.

“Hey, where’s Maverick?” Malony asked, confused that the Demon Rito was not there. Suddenly a zombified version of the monster Molgera plowed up through earth. Maverick rode on this beast.

“Get along, little doggie! Ha-ha. That was fun! What’d I miss?”

“Not much. They still think they can win.” Kaos replied to his comrade.

“You may have survived last time”, Junai said, interrupting the two villains. “But you’re cute parlor tricks won’t win you this battle.”

“Who you callin’ cute?!?” Maverick asked. Angrily, the Demon summoned up three zombie dodongos to attack. Just as the two heroes drew their swords, ready to attack these new foes, Kaos did something most unexpected. Using his new mask, Kaos caused three metal spikes to rise out of the earth, skewering the three dodongos.

“Hey, what’s the big idea!?!” Maverick asked angrily. Kaos replied by whispering an idea into Maverick’s ear. The demon smirked. “Ooh! Good idea!” With that, Kaos jumped down and landed in front of the two warriors.

Taking off his mask, Kaos stuck his tongue out at the two. “Nah, Nah!” He said as he rushed off, taunting Malony and Junai to follow him. The two smirked. They then both charged at him, attempting to attack him. Kaos continued to run as the to chased after him. The two came very close to hitting him, but luckily, he had a head start on them.

Suddenly, as the three neared the dodongos, Kaos jumped into the air and yelled a war cry. On queue, Maverick unleashed a powerful attack, causing the dodongo corpses to explode and knocking Malony and Junai back. Kaos easily landed next to Maverick. “You take the half-elf, the demon’s mine!” Kaos said as he jumped down to battle Junai alone.

Kaos landed next to the warrior of the gods, who was just now picking himself off the ground.

“You’re a strong opponent, that’s for certain”, Kaos said. Reaching into his coat, Kaos pulled out a strange new mask. It was a strange, sliver mask that looked similar to a hand mirror. “But how well can you fight against yourself?” Kaos yelled as he put on the mask.

Suddenly, Kaos was shrouded in a strange white light as he underwent a strange transformation. When the light dissipated, his entire body, with the exception of his eyes, had changed. Kaos had now become an exact copy of Junai!

OoC: Man the way you did that, it made it sound Junai was slower than a cod fish. He's faster than you bruddah. Gotta think about ranks.

IC: Junai looked at the firgure before him. He seemed overwhelmed but then he realized something...it was his human form! Junai put his head down and chuckled a bit then let out a loud vigorous laugh leaving Kaos puzzled.
"You see dear boy, you may be a copy, but that's just it, your a copy of what's in front of you now."
"Oh don't worry, I can do exactly everything you can."
"We'll just see about that."
"Yes we--"
Suddenly Kaos stopped talking. He had been paralyzed by the Rise of Darkness. Junai slipped in just when he was talking and it was the perfect opening.
"There's one thing you can't get out of even if you are a replica..."
Junai then notice Maverick was awfully close to them both. Junai smirked and threw his arm in Maverick's direction sending Kaos with it. Malony stepped back quick enough to get away from the shock and Maverick got slammed full force by his own partner, sending them off into the distance and skidding into the ground.

Junai took this moment to return to his demon form and charge at the two. He got to them just in time before they came to their senses and slammed his blade like arm into his copy and Mavericks' skulls, pulling them over his head, then slamming them on the ground with a tremendous force. He then pulled out the blade, then smashed the Ifrit into Kaos' stomach sending them into the earth once more.

This was not finished. He dove into the pit, picked up Kaos and brought him out to the surface. he still seemed to holding on by a thread at this point. Junai smirked, spun him around and threw him like a discus, sending him flying. He then walked over to Malony and said, "The other peon is still in the hole if you want him."

Malony looked down into the hole, to look for Maverick. "Where is he?" Suddenly, a giant zombie molgera rose from the ground, Malony and Junai jumped back.

"WOO HOO! Gotta watch out for those sand worms buddies! Now Malony, where were we?" With that Maverick commanded the worm to rush at malony. Unfortunately for Maverick, Malony caused the earth to crack and the zombie worm to sink.

But Maverick jumped off the worm just in time to fly full speed at Malony. He had encased his arms in his cape, turning them into swords. Malony drew her swords and they began to fight.
