Strategem of Inescapable Fate

OoC: Hey everyone. This battle I'll be using Sylvia Cradle, my newest RP character. Her bio can be found on page 19 of the character list. I will allow a total of five fighters, aside from Sylvia, in this battle. Teaming up is fine. I'll set the scene...

BiC:

Utopia, her hometown, grew distant, an insect railing against the horizon. The sun glittered amongst the restless clouds that covered the sky. A storm was brewing, preparing to beset the valley.

Sylvia Cradle strolled aimlessly around the valley, following the footsteps of her prey. "There." she muttered under her voice. A small fawn came into view, followed by a larger, muscular buck.

"Come to mama..." she whispered.

The grazing herbivores stood bent over the plentiful green grass of the valley without worry. Sylvia crept behind a rock at a closer view and strung her bow. Slowly, she aimed her porjectile at the large buck, hopping to snag a better kill.

She released the string the arrow rocketed at the male, heading directly for its stomach. The buck reacted swiftly, sensing the arrow and leaped forward to ellude the speedy missile. The failed arrow crashed with a thud into the impregnable rock that portruded from the mountain side.

"Drat!"

She stood and admired the gracefully creatures flee away. "Oh well. They'll be back..." she said with a smirk. "Ah, such beautiful creatures."

She relaxed her bow arm and grasped an apple from her satchel, then bite into it hungrily. "Too bad Lord Pent couldn't join me today."

She sauntered about with the apple in hand and chewed conspicuously. A slight clap of thunder in the distance inclined her head. "Uh oh.." One lone raindrop splattered down next to her. "Here comes the rain." she said as she began gathering her things. The rainfall began and grew heavier by the second.

Sylvia felt the ground softening beneath her. She was now able to stand with ease, though the moisture of the overhead rainclouds had created a sloshy mudd that dirtied up her boots. Looking down at her newly soiled boots caused her to sigh and look around aimlessly.. "I thought I'd keep these boots at least moderately clean!" She grunted.

OOC: OK Ill fight you. Ill use Ryu

BIC: A voice came from a tree not far from ware Sylvia was. "How is a fair maden like you doing in a rain storm like today. You will get sick." Ryu gave a smile towards Sylvia. "Hear, let me help you with your things. Ryu started to walk down the road a bit. "You look like you are a little hungry. Hear take some of this pig that I hunted down eailyer today." Ryu found a tree that looked like it would be a good shelter from the rain. Ryu looked over to Sylvia. "Well, I've heard that you are a fighter. Since it looks like the storms not going to end soon. Would you like to spar with me for a while?" Ryu gave a smile again.

The polite stranger smiled and proposed for them to spar a bit. "Okay, but I'll warn you, I can get pretty dangerous sometimes." she warned.

"Oh!" she exclaimed. "I only have my bow! Oh, what could I use to challenge you?" A feeble look of puzzle streaked across her face.

Ryu gave a smerk. "Well I'll just figth you with my hands and I wont cast any magic. Just try to hit me." Ryu gave another smile. "This would be good training for your marksmanship. Shall we begin?" Ryu started to run after Sylvia with rageing fists.

ooc:ill be using sizmo link in sig

bic:As Sizmo was walking through the valley, an arrow suddenly shot his hat into a tree. As he carefully got his hat off the arrow he saw where the shot had come from.
There was a girl with her bow dueling with someone who had layed his swords down to fight with his fists.
As he walked up he stated "You know that arrow put a hole in my hat right?"
Apparently he had their attention as they stopped dueling or a second.
"so you mind if i join?"


ooc:so what if its short this is my first battle ... ever, also when sizmo enters the fray his sword and chainmail light on fire.

ooc:dont worry about it, I post short sometimes. Thanks for the heads up.

bic: Ryu turned around to see sizmo in the back. "well it looks like you have a problem with the arrow. Sorry i had to dodge the attack, you know why." Ryu turned back to Sylvia. "It looks like you missed, but you almost hit sizmo in the head. Nice shot, I have to give you that." Ryu jumped back so he could see both contestence. "Well it looks like this is about to get interesting." Ryu looked at sizmo again. "Well, lets see what you can do, you can have the first attack." Ryu then gave a smirk.

ooc:future warnig...never give mme the first attack, [evil manaical laughter]

bic:"Time for payback...that was my favourite hat."
He lit his armour and sword on fire. Using one of his signature moves sizmo charged at sylvia. However, he went and slid by creating a cloud of dust, and then he sliced the bowstring in two.
"And whos the man?ME!" Sizmo cried.
"Dont be too cockey there...you just might get hit hard."
At this Sizmo drew his bow, as he did not see any weopon that could be used againt it on the kid. Just as he was about to shoot, the kid shot a bolt of ice from his sword.
"GAGH!" yelled Sizmo.
But he quickly shot his fire arrow down the center of the ice and it evaporated.
"I see your marksmenship is dead on..." commented Ryu in a grim voice.
And then she struck.

ooc:sylvia restrung her bow and its back to normal.

ooc: Just to let you know, you are god modding and that is strickly prohibited. Since it is the first time, Ill let it slide, the mods dont like it when people do that and others dont like people to control there characters unless they say they can.

bic: Ryu looked at Sizmo. "How could you do that? How could you attack a girl right away?" Ryu gave an evil glare to Sizmo. "Well it looks like you are going to have to pay for this." Ryu ran over to pick up his sword. "Never attack a woman while im around." Ryu put his sword in the air and casted Ragnorak. A sword came crashing down at full speed knocking him to the ground. "Ha ha ha, well it looks like that hurt a bit, do you wont to feel more?" Ryu started to smile once more.

OoC: Sorry to barge in like this, but I would just like to clear one thing up. There's two kinds of god-modding, and one of them is allowed.

What you can do: Control another person's character without their permission. Such as; make attacks, take damage, speech(if you can handle the characters personality). It requires that you keep the other person in character, of course (a reason as to why personality description is important).

What you can't do: Deal out heavy damage without taking a single hit yourself. Defeating your opponent in one, or very few, blows (unless, of course, you space out these blows over several posts with interesting material to fill it out). Making the other person go out of character, such as a shy person suddenly becomes very over confident, or a mage uses attacks she never knew.

ooc:how was that god modding?i cut a bow and it was restrung i didnt even attack the person, only their weopon. anyway ill refrain from doing that again, ill make sure i always take some damage

bic:Sylvia then unleashed her certain shot at Ryu, who was hit onto the ground by the attack, as he pulled the arrow out of his armour-which had a large hole now-she unleashed another at Sizmo.He rolled out of the way in the nick of time, but the arrow was too fast and penetrated his thigh.
"Argh!" cried Sizmo. As Ryu was beginning to realize he had underestimated this girls skill, he retreived his swords. Then, while Sylvia was aiming at Ryu he let fly an arrow at her, although it missed it was an enough of a diversion to throw off her aim as her arrow shot off into the distance.Then ryu slashed with his sword at Sylvia, although it was not a deep cut she was bleeding a lot.

ooc: i dont write longer posts right now because im not sure how to act the characters not counting the fact that i spent five minutes trying to find Ryu's thread i mean really man MAKE A LINK TO IT

bic: Ryu droped back in releif that the arrow missed him. " What have I done?" Ryu looked a sylvia with a sad look on his face. "I harmed her." Ryu started to chant a spell. "Angel Whisper" Sylvia's injuries were completly healed. "There, that should help out a bit." Ryu gave a smile then drew his swords out again. "Well shall we continue." Ryu ran after Sizmo with a diving attack whick he missed. Sizmo quickly countered Ryu's attack and smashed him in the back. "emph, lucky break." Ryu got back up and slashed at him with quadra shlash. Two of the four slashes hit him knocking Sizmo back to the ground. Ryu then put his sword away and started to charge after sylvia. Sylvia quckly noticed that Ryu was running after her so she shot an arrow at Ryu. It hit him right in the leg. Ryu once again fell to the ground and took the arrow out. "Ok now i best watch myself, cant underestimate you no more." Ryu got up and started to stagger towords sylvia again. Sylvia kept shooting at Ryu but he kept deflecting arrows with his hands. "Man this is starting to tire me." Ryu went up to Sylvia and hit her in the stomach knocking to the ground in agane. "..." Ryu fell to the ground with emence pain.

ooc:MUAHAHAHA YOU WILL DIE!...kidding...what happened to aydengrannus?

bic:For seemingly no apparent reason Ryu had fallen to the ground, Sizmo could only assume this was because of the arrows that sylvia shot into his leg. It sounded like Ryu was mumbling to himself, but Sizmo couldn't hear what he was saying. Then Sizmo noticed Sylvia was about to shoot the bow, so he quickly jumped into the air and came crashing down on her, but not before she unleased her arrow. It had only skimmed him on the leg, but it hurt and his balance was thrown off. his sword was stuck in the ground.He got it out just as an arrow flew past, missing him by centimeteres.
"Nice aim, very nice aim..." said Sizmo as he charged at her.
Sylvia was all to famillier with his strategy of sliding past, that was what she was prepared for. But Sizmo wasnt tht dull, and he didnt slide past. Sylvia barely reacted in time, but got a long gash on her right leg. But then, they both realized what Ryu had been mumbling to himself...
"Angel whisper." he chanted, and he was soon back in the fight rushing at them both.

As Ryu was running after the two. He swung his sword at Sizmo striking him in the leg, knocking him the the ground. Sylvia quickly shot an arrow at Ryu and hit him in his arm. "Well it looks like you wont to weaken my sword arm." Ryu was thinking to himself. "She did too, I best be careful." Ryu got back up and ran after Sylvia. "That was a good shot, but Im not going to let that slide. Ryu hit Sylvia on the head with the hilt of his sword and knocked her to the ground. Ryu did not notice that Sizmo was back up. Ryu turned around to see Sizmo running after him. "Whats this?" Ryu fell back. "You always find a way to catch me off guard, this must end." Ryu started to run after Sizmo and qudra slashed at Sizmo. Sizmo jumped out of the way of the attack and kicked Ryu in the back knocking Ryu off balance. "Ok, thats enough." Ryu started to get a little angry, but he was still calm. Ryu waited for the next attack comming from either Sylvia or Sizmo.
