Wandering Mercenary (Random Battle)

OOC: I will be using my character Tokumaru in this. Participate as you wish.

BiC: If anyone could’ve stopped him, he would’ve been gone long ago. But no, this one, this mercenary, Tokumaru, just REFUSED to die. As he walked in that dark night, he thought about what would happen next. His previous jobs were ones that hurt him dearly: Ones in which he worked for evil men that he didn’t know were evil, and it usually resulted in someone getting raped or killed innocently. “What job will I pursue next?” Asked Tokumaru. “If anyone out there actually needs a mercenary for noble purposes, I wish I could find–”

“Are you……… Tokumaru Kyô?” Said a voice from afar. Tokumaru, being a nearly completely silent person, unsheathed his sword without words and began to channel his mythic energies unto it. “I presumed you would want a fight.” Tokumaru, still not moving, said: “Whoever you are, I seek no random fights, just mercenary job deals.” “Heh…” said the strange voice. “I can’t seal job deals… but your fate… now THAT is something I can seal.” A dark figure jumped out of the brush as Tokumaru held his sword up in defense.

Ooc: Just in time for Kyanu

Ic:

It was Kyanu, the warrior of no descent. He wandered as he pleased, and did what he pleased, whether it was stealing a pair of pistols or just trying to find comfort by battling someone worth fighting.

Tokumaru Kyo seemed to be the best fitted for such a task right now. Kyanu could not give a rup whether or not he defeated his opponent, he just wanted to discover that comfort. Though it reminded him of the death, he would rather have it then not.

As he addressed this warrior, he also drew his blade as well, the Klaimh Solus. It was a n immensely powerful blade, Kyanu had yet to unlock it's potential, and maybe he would unlock and use this potential this day.

"I am looking for a battle is all. I care less if I win or not, it is all I need for now."

Kyanu shifted his weight between his feet a little, looked around and walked forward and out of the shadows. He wore his signature leather jacket, while carrying his sword in a slumped position.

"If you accept, you may attack."

Kyanu waited for the onslaught of his opponent as he awaited the first attack of a great, and monumental battle.

BiC:Tokumaru stared into the eyes of his attacker, and slowly rested his sword upon his back. Kyanu excepted this as a battle invitation. The warrior of no descent rushed in at Tokumaru, who held up his hand calmly. As the Klaimh Solus slammed upon Tokumaru, it bounced off an invisible barrier and this thrust Kyanu back. “I could use a nice fight…” said Tokumaru. “Just don’t file me for any injuries.” Tokumaru held his hand in the direction of Kyanu and snapped it. “Flames of Destruction.” Instantly, a hellfire spawn from Tokumaru’s hand and ignited Kyanu.

“Only a fool…” commented Tokumaru, “would think that you were dead. Finish the battle you started.” Kyanu jumped from the hellspawned flames and slammed his blade upon Tokumaru. Tokumaru held his sword up frantically, as he did not expect the warrior’s speed. The deadlock of the two swords sent sparks flying. “Is that all you’ve got?” Asked Kyanu. Tokumaru gave out a slight chuckle and thrust Kyanu back.

Tokumaru looked into the eyes of Kyanu. “Why are you staring at me?” He asked the warrior. Suddenly, a red aura emitted around Kyanu, and he found that he was paralyzed. “I can’t, cannot move!” He yelled. Tokumaru frowned a bit. “It’s too bad…” he said as flames began to circle his sword’s blade. “This battle is over.” Tokumaru shot a stream of multi-colored magic at Kyanu. The Warrior of No Descent looked in horror as his apparent doom rushed towards him…

Kyanu was only thinking as a fool. This was not the way his father would have fought.

"Korenta. . ."

Such a simple word caused his paralysis to break free and instead of attacking Tokumaru, he jumped back many feet away with a simple breath.

"Morenta. . ."

Only such a small word again mixed with a such amount of focus caused a twister of mist, ice and snow to form at the speed of sound if not faster formed, the size of twenty men. After being formed, it moved at speeds unimaginable and before the warrior could have known, Tokumaru was enveloped inside the twister.

He managed to jump out, though cuts could be found scattered around him.

"This is but a taste of what you have encountered. Now,"

Kyanu's eyes turned to a flaming light blue as he focused all his energy into forming the arena into the way he pleased it. Cracking could be heard as ice formed all around the arena, and then that ice turning and forming the world to its own liking. After seconds, it was snowing heavily and it was well below the average winter temparature.

"Perfect. . .your turn."

Tokumaru looked down at the icy arena, closed his eyes and chuckled. "Heh..." he said. "It's funny. Fire against ice. Asmuch as I love to have a nice ballance of Elemenatlities, I think Iwill go all out Pyro..." At this moment, Tokumarus' sword's flame rapped aound his body and healed his cuts from the earlier ice tornado. Kyanu was taken aback at thi transformation as Tokumaru jumped into the air and brought his sword upon the warrior. "Hellzone Bomb!" He yelled gallantly. Instantly, a giant flaming ball of fire fell upon Kyanu, and yet, the Warrior of no Descent held it back. "Oh no!" Said Tokumaru in destress. Or at least, Kyanu thought it was destress.

Kyanu threw the mighty orb of fire back at Tokumaru and hit it with his legendary sword to give it exceleration, but when the blast cleared, no Tokumaru was to be seen. "Where'd you go, coward?" Kyanu felt a slight breeze behind him.

"Never turn your back."

Kyanu turned around to see a blade hit his left torso. Blood spwed from the wound, along with a deafening crack. "My ribs...." said the Kyanu. "Wh.... why did you use the dull side?" Tokumaru sheathed his sword. "Yes, I did indeed use the Dull side of my blade, the Kongumatsu. I do not wish to kill you......" And with that final statement, Tokumaru walked away. But before he could get any farther than he had hoped,

A legendary sword slashed off his left arm

Ooc: Holy crap, that's intense. . .

Ic:

Kyanu could be found just behind his opponent, in full condition.

"note how the ice arena brings up my strength and defense. Planning ahead is a benefit. The slash and blunt felt like but a small slash from a knife."

Blood poured from Tokumaru's wound as he looked at it in amazement. He could not believe he had lost his arm, he was in such a state of shock, he did not notice the pain, but only stared at it.

"Maybe it would be best for you to attempt to kill me. You should never turn your back."

With that, Kyanu jumped in front of Tokumaru and stared him down. His eyes were wide as a small puddle of blood formed from the stump of Tokuamru's arm.

"Well, leave now and spare yourself, or I shall cut you down, and you will die."

Kyanu waited for a response from his bewildered opponent, wondering if anything would come out of his mouth.

"Such a waste...." said Tokumaru. "But now, you will die." Tokumaru disappeared in a flash, which startled Kyanu again. Kyanu frantically looked around for his opponent, even behind him where he first suspected. But one direction was not checked: Above.

"Prepare to die..." Kyanu looked above when he heard Tokumaru stating this and noticed that the same orb of fire was above him. "DIE!!!" Tokumaru thrust the orb upon Kyanu, who held it back all the same, only this time, Tokumaru lunged into the orb with his sword headfirst. "DRAGONIS IRA ESTUANS INTERIUS!" Kyanu looked in horror as the orb turned into a raging Dragon that devoured him. As he saw the last glint of the ice he knew so well, he said, "Such magics..... what...... what is he?"

When the blast cleared, Tokumaru was hunched over his sword, drained of his energy. Kyanu was scourached badly, but not fatally. "So.... you didn't use your full strength...." he said. Tokumaru stood up and used another spell to reattach his arm. "I am but a wanderer." he as he limped off. "This battle was gallant.... and I shall never forget it."

Kyanu tried to talk things out with Tokumaru, but the Wandering Mercenary disappeared before his eyes, back into the vast world, to find another job.

Tokumaru: Looser by drastic loss of energy
