The Gods Arena: Tourney in the Watery Cave

OoC: Alright folks. Without further to do I give you the first installment of The Gods Arena. Hopefully if this works out there'll be more to come. This first one is a basic "last man standing" match, so whoever is willing, come join.

IC: Kunaku ran up a dirt path for awhile until he came to a cave entrance. Pulling off his hood, he then looked around for a minute.
"So this is the place...hmm."
Just then, a bright light shot from above. Kunaku shielded his eyes from the blinding light, but tried to look in its direction. He could just barely make out a silhouette of a man. Just then the light vanished and kneeling on the ground was Junai.
"Well Junai, you called me to this place. What do you want from me?"
Junai rose, looked at him then said, "Just make sure you get everyone's name on something once they enter."
"Wait, why do I have to do this?"
"Because...you're not fighting."
"Good point."
Afterwords, Kunaku leaned himself against the entrance waiting for others as Junai walked in.

OoC: Alright then. Let the sign-in commence.

Plants growing everywhere around him. When he enters the arena, he is revealed to be a Kokiri boy.

"I'll be signing up for the tournament. Write me down as The Vine Guardian. Or Tido. Whichever you think is more appropriate."

ooc:Finaly a nice little tourny to join.

The list was suddenly taken out of Kunaku's hands by a largely built goron.
"Lemme see who has entered here...hmm...Nobody spescial but i guess i could enter! Maybe someone strong will get here!"
Sigve gave the list abck to KUnaku who saw that 'Sigve III' had been burnt in with fine text.
Sigve walked into the cave and saw Junai.
"Ah...So there is someone with notisable strenght here anyhow! Junai if I am not mistaken?"
"HOw did you..."
"Don't ask..."

OoC: Well this sure isn't working out like I planned it. Come on folks, need some more good fighters in here!

OOC: Well, I'm bored at the moment, so I might as well join. This will be a good time to try out my new character, Liya Karonan. Her profile is in the Character List, if anyone wants to read it.

A shadowy figure appeared in the midst of the few fighters already gathered. Her ponytail moved gently in the slight breeze as she surveyed the competition. She put her left hand on the hilt of her rapier and put her right hand on her hip. Smirking, she said,

"Well, it doesn't look like this will prove to be any challenge."

She yawned and leaned against a nearby pillar of stone. She closed her eyes as if going to sleep, but, as everyone stared at her, she spoke.

"Oh, and the name's Liya Karonan. That's L-I-Y-A K-A-R-O-N-A-N. You got that?"

OOC: Cool, Tenkawa. I'll join.

IC:The heavens parted and a beam of energy soniced down to the ground. It formed into a figure, a winged man, who was on one knee, his face in shadow. There was a thinring of light around his head. He got to his feet and a blue shock of eyes glowed in his face. He was an angel.

He walked to the booth and put a small slip of paper into Kunaku's surprised hand. The paper read simply, "Abel". He strode to the center, and his aura glowed brightly.

Liya opened one eye and squinted against the shining aura surrounding the newcomer. Hmm...maybe there would be a challenge in this...

Junai raised himself in the air and looked around. He moved to the waterfall on the far side of the area, cooled off a bit, then returned once more. He then let himself down, leaned against the side of the cave oppisite from Liya, then lowered his head. Just then a voice rang in his ear, "A prey...comes ever closer to the cave...Junai..."
"You mean...none in here as of now are..."
"No..."
"Hmm, I see. Very well."
He seemed to get a few glances, but it didn't phase him any. He looked at Liya for a minute, then lowered his head once more.

Liya stared across at Junai, unblinking and unphased by his glance. She yawned and stretched a few tight muscles in order to loosen them. She began twirling a strand of her jet black hair in boredom. Speaking mostly to herself, she mumbled,

"When is this fight going to get started, anyway...?"

Abel's halo shined brightly, and he immeadiatly recieved sensed what he had come here for. He looked into Junai's eyes. On his left arm was the demonic gauntlet, the Ifrit. The Ifrit was a gauntlet that was the counterpart of his gauntlet, the judgement. He instinctively withdrew his sword upon seeing the unholy instrument. He had to destroy it, before the demons could aquire it and utilize its powers of hell.

Suddenly, all eyes were upon his withdrawn sword, the Herald, a magnificent blade, emblemed with gold and jewels. A faint light emnated from it, and one could almost taste the spirit energy around it. Abel quickly sheathed it. He continued to think, about the lifetime of sorrow that the gauntlet had once caused.

Junai rose once more, and walked a few feet to the northeast of where he was standing. The sound of rushing water still filled the void of silence. The dripping of water from the stalagtites seemed to calm Junai of the frustration he had at this point. He looked at everyone once more then said, "Well, to stop this infernal delay of a fight, we'll get things started. I have no objection of other fighters showing up late, but at this point, I want to get this started. Are we all agreeable on this?"
He messed with his Spirit Armlet a bit, looked up, then raised his arms slightly.
"Well, if there's no objection, then let's get at it folks!"

Liya's eyes flicked swiftly from the angel to Junai. She wondered what had caused the angel to draw his sword so quickly and then just as quickly sheath it. When she noticed Abel's eyes on Junai's gauntlet, she smiled secretly. So that was it. The angel seemed to want the gauntlet that Junai had. Still smiling to herself, Liya wondered just how big a price Abel would be willing to pay to get it. She shook her head.

I've got to stop thinking like a mercenary...

Liya removed one of her many daggers from a sleeve of her shirt. She began honing the edge against a stone she had picked up. The noise created by this action echoed around the cave. Liya continued to push thoughts of money out of her head as she finished with her dagger and pulled out another one.

OOC: Gah! Sorry, Tenkawa! We posted at the same time...

Sigve was leaning towards a large pillar.
He saw the newlya rrived angel take out a,from it's aura powerfull sword halfways from its sheat.
Sigve thought on his own sword that was strapped to his back.
It was just as large as a man and almost as strong as a god.
The gendarms sheat was hiding the swords aura so that nobody would be overwhealmed by its great force.
Sigve took off the sword and leaned it towards the same pillar he was leaning to. With the eye-shaped jewel in it's hilt stirring at him and then mooved to look at the others.
He mooved his thoughts from the Gendarm to Abel.
"It's a nice sword you've got there Abel!" He said with a smirk.

OoC: I really don't understand what you need to be sorry about LadyElvenarcher. BTW, love the profile for her, that's nice.

EDIT: Wait, I caught it...that's no big deal, Mute got a post in before i did as well.

OOC : Must come in now. but I want to use a new charature thats not approved yet. must hurry. wait if you please.

OOC: Quietsoul, you ruined the last tourney. Frankly, you aren't very good. So, please, stick to a tourney of your class.

Even though I stated in the beginning anyone willing, I do have to respect the wishes of those currently in this tournament so far. Mute is one person that I trust to make good judgements, so unforunately, it seems you can't enter.
