The Taste of Dragon Blade (Random)

Sileya stood atop a rocky mountain, her face in the slight breeze. The slight bit of frost in the wind made her shiver slightly, and she brushed a strand of her blue-streaked, silvery hair out of her eyes.

Suddenly, she heard a pebble move behind her, and she whirled around, drawing her Dragonfire Blade and dropping into a defensive stance all in one motion. The newcomer did nothing but stare across at her calmly. Sileya voiced a challenge at her opponent, "State who you are and what you are doing here!"

I smirked, "My name is Luthien, and I've come to take your life." The winds grew colder, and the sheer bite of them could murder any normal human.
"Now how do you plan to do that?" The girl replied coolly, "Do you take me for a pushover?"
"Of course not.." I began in a low, half mocking voice, "But... we shall see, shan't we?"

My coat swayed with the growing winds, yet they daunted me not in the least, as I was colder even than they.

ooc: Sorry about the short post. -_- My dad is being hell and wants me to go to bed right now.. If nothing is posted after this tommorow, I'll add onto it, if that isn't the case then I'll just continue posting. o-O

OOC: Oh, I understand totally about the parent thing. My parents don't let me get online much...

Sileya smiled thinly at Luthien. "Well, I assure you that I'm no pushover. Oh, and I'm an Elf." She pointed to her pointed ears. "Let's just see how well you fare against me and my Dragonfire Blade!"

OOC: Sorry about this EXTREMELY short post, but I really don't know much about your character, and I don't want to give him (or her?) attributes and weapons he or she doesn't have. Pardon me, if I don't write my posts in first-person. I'm just used to writing in third-person limited (Ah! Literature terms are invading my brain!!). Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you!

Ooc; :::Character Approval::: - I'm using Luthien.. And third-person is fine. I sometimes find myself switching between first and third-person in a single post without noticing. O_o;

"Then let us begin.." Pulling out Severum I parried a downward slash from the Dragonfire Blade, and brought my fist around to a direct hit on Sileya's face sending her back a few steps. I slid away and dropped Severum back into my pocket; decided on trying a bit of Nosferato know-how. I held out my hand and muttered a few words in an unknown tounge. Tilting my head down slightly, a hologram warped out from the vampiric symbol on my glove, then flew back in as my body flashed out of view. A slightly maniacal laughter would ring through Sileya's mind as images of myself flashed quickly in and out of view.

Ooc; Bleh. Easy enough to tell I haven't done this kind of thing in a long while. :/ Sorry. Anyways, I'm not sure exactly how your character responds to these kind of things yet, so I'll stop here.

Sileya smirked derisively. "Hm. You think a little trick like that will stop me? You've underestimated me, it seems. Well, I'll just have to teach you that you should never do that!"

Sileya closed her eyes and focused her energy on the Dragonfire Blade. She swept around in a slow arc, searching for the energy signature of the real Luthien. Abruptly, her eyes snapped open, and she stared at the air in front of her.

"I have you now! Eat Dragonfire Blade!"

She slashed at Luthien in a downward arc. Luthien managed to deflect the otherwise lethal blow onto his left shoulder where blood began to flow. Sileya leapt backward just in time to avoid a blow to her stomach. She parried another attack and swept her broadsword in low at Luthien's legs. Luthien sustained a slash to his right leg, and he hobbled backward on his good left leg. Sileya dropped into a defensive stance, her Dragonfire Blade held out in front of her and gripped tightly in both hands.

OOC: As you can see, Sileya is more of the cocky type and doesn't usually think things over carefully before she acts. I hope that helps ya!

My arm pulled from my body and flowed with the blood as a single limb. It gathered Severum to my hand quickly, and flowed out to greet Sileya. She seemed to have a look of delicate suprise on her face. Taking this to my advantage, I pulled the trigger. A silver bullet swept through the thin air and impacted heavily on Sileya's knee cap, without chance for her to dodge at such close range.

"You've never fought a Nosferato before, have you?" I smirked lightly as the full red moon rose. With a silent case of laughter my limbs clutched onto the blood, and pulled back torwards my body.
"True power shall be shown to you," My body was rising back to full stature from the puddle of blood, "It may be the last thing you see.. you lucky girl."

"We'll see, Vampire.." She sneered with a tight clasp of her fist, "Though, I wouldn't be too high and mighty, if I were you." I stared at her momentarily taken aback, though I quickly regained my thoughts. Soon my stare became a piercing into her mind - while she was in a grasp pain it became weaker - searching for a hidden madness waiting to become relevant in the world. I might've found it too, if she hadn't regained herself.
"Oh well," I whispered under my breath, "She won't make it anyway.."
"What was that?" She snapped suspiciously, clutching her blade. And so I came to another point of understanding; Elves have enhanced hearing.
"Nothing.. Nothing at all," I replied, "Wouldn't matter anyway."

I held my hands together, and put my mind into a position of utmost concentration for a few seconds, focusing my power. Snapping abruptly back to reality, I cracked my eyes open to see Sileya coming down on me again, though with a limp she was surely trying to ignore. I stepped back into a defensive stance.

Ooc; Meh. O_o

OOC: Hey, Remus. Um...can we postpone this fight? I've just got too many other things going on that demand my fight posts...I'm really sorry about this! Maybe we can battle some other time!

Ooc; Sure. o_O I predicted you would back out because of lacking in the time region a day or two ago. <.<; Sad but true.

Luthien mutters a single word, and vanishes in a wisp of mist, leaving behind in the minds of watchers a hallowed voice, "Until we meet again..."
