Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

This is a challenge I issue to any warrior who wishes to fight me.

I am somewhat new to this forum, and am looking for an opponent to combat to increase my skill. I will fight you using my charcter, Drakan. His character bio is on the Character List, but I will gladly post it if you can't find it.

I will fight whoever responds to this thread first. Our battlefield will be atop Ganon's Tower. Please tell me who you wish to fight with and give there bio (Or, if it is on the Character List, just tell me it is).

I look forward to meeting you in battle. Here is my intro:

Drakan stood atop Ganon's Tower, a look of determination on his face. Across from him stood another warrior, ready for battle.

Drakan smirked. "So, you showed up? I'm suprised, especially considering the location I chose for this battle." The other warrior was silent. Drakan ignored the other fighter's silence and drew his twin longswords.

"Well, I suppose we should start our battle. I allow you to make the first move." Drakan said, pointing one of his longswords at the warrior.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

OOC: Sup Oni-Dante, i'll fight you. The form for my character can be found HERE.

Ganon's Tower. In the day of his first life the name Ganon was unheared of. There was one name that echoed in the shadows and bore ruin to the world. The name of Segiro. Segiro almost smirked thinking back to the day when his violent crimes would send shivers down the spine of even the most hardened criminal. Then he was betrayed, by his own people no less.

Finally released, he stood now atop this dark tower ready to fight another unsuspecting challenger. Segiro marveled in his own glory and stared pitifully at the figure standing before him. A storm was brewing, though no rain fell from the dark clouds, Lightning forked towards the ground, shattering rocks with it's force.

"So, you showed up?" his foe finally said, motioning towards him with his sword. "I'm suprised, especially considering the location I chose for this battle."
Segiro remained silent. 'This place proves no difficulty for me', he though Instead, he simply placed his fists together, preparing to strike.
"Well, I suppose we should start our battle. I allow you to make the first move."

Segiro finally did smirk. Not a happy funny smirk, but hateful, detesting smirk. Segiro brough his hands out in front of his body and cupped his hands. His opponent stood watching, puzzeled at first, but became steadily more aware of the flecks of white and blue light that were forming in Segiro's palms.

Segrio slammed his palms together, the noise of impact like the sound of a thousand lighting bolts at one, snapped through the air. Segiro pulled apart his clap and pointed a clenched fist at his enemy. A direct stream of ice seemed to shoot out, coating the floor and building a wall around his enemy trapping him inside.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Drakan didn’t have much time. In a matter of seconds, Segiro’s Ice Spell would have him frozen solid. Luckily, this wasn’t the first warrior to use magic Drakan had encountered.

Quickly, Drakan dropped one of his longswords and grasped the pendant around his neck just as he was frozen in a block of ice.

Segiro saw as his spell finished of his opponent. A sinister smirk crossed the dark warrior’s face. “That was far too easy. A waste of my precious time. Oh well”, the Ice Goron said as he began to walk away.

Suddenly, Segiro heard the sound of crackling ice coming from behind him. Turning around, he saw the ice block containing Drakan was beginning to melt and crack. In mere seconds, Drakan had broken free from the ice enchantment and was now surrounded by two pillars of fire. “It’s going to take a lot more than that to beat me.” Drakan said with a smirk.

Segiro frowned as his eyes narrowed.

Drakan sheathed his two longswords. “Why don’t you try this attack on for size!” In a flash, Drakan had drawn his Dragon’s Wrath sword, which was now set ablaze. Drakan yelled a fierce war cry as he rushed forward to deliver a flaming slash to the Ice Goron.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

The burning flame that surrounded the sword cut through Segiro's skin leaving a searing pain in his chest. Beneath the open wound, a silver glow eminiated, before the wound forze ove and the burning subsided.

"Fool!" Segiro cried. His voice louder than any Goron's natural voice "Do you honestly think fire is enough to ruin my magic?" Segiro reached out towards the two pillars of twisting fire, and slneched his hands into fists as if trying to crush the fire. At once, the fires stopped and began to freeze. Beocming pillars of spiralling ice almost instantly they shattered into fragments frozen water.

"Now, you have angered me." Segiro grumbled. He crossed his arms, and two snake like creatures began to crawl down from his shoulders and wrap around his arms and wrists. The snakes stopped and froze, becoming solid blue armor, while two spiked Guantlets folded over his open hands. From a sheath on his back he drew his weapon. A long handle, white in colour, with a large monsterous skull shaped hammer edge.

"For a mere human to weild such a weapon would be a most enjoyable sight. For me, this is nothing but a means to an end." Segiro said showing how easy it was for him to swing the Skull Hammer with just one hand. His eyes flicked and met with his foe's "Your end."

With that, he dived forward, using his brute strength to lever the hammer over his head and down to the spot where his enemy had only a second ago been standing. Agility and lithe were not a Goron's strong points, but the blow of the weapon smashed a great hole in the rooftop, leaving an entrance into the room below.

"Fool, stay still and it will be less painful!" He screamed, turning to face his enemy.
"Thanks, but i think i'll stay alive just a little longer, if that doesn't bother you too much?" he smirked. His grin enraged Segiro more. Segiro opened his fist and held his open palm out. He lifted it slightly, and the shards of ice lifted from the floor, spinning until the sharp ends pointed at Draken. With a swish of the wrist, a thousand daggers of ice swept towards Draken, slashing past him, cutting across his face and leaving tiny cuts all over his body.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Drakan screeched with pain as the tiny ice knives cut into his body, leaving scratches all over his arms and face. ‘At least my Elven Chain is protecting most of my body’ Drakan thought.

After a few moments, the onslaught of ice shards stopped. All over his face and on parts of his body there were tiny cuts as well as one or two large gashes. Small drops of blood trickled down to the floor from Drakan’s body.

He had no time to treat these wounds, though, as Segiro was now running towards the warrior, his hammer held high above his head.

Using his lightning speed, Drakan rolled out of the way of the Ice Goron’s vertical smash. He quickly delivered a slash from his flaming blade to Segiro’s side before leaping backwards.

Now Segiro let out a screech of pain. Like before, though, he simply used his ice magic to heal the wound.

“You’re starting to annoy me, you little Gnat! You should be dead by now!” the large warrior yelled.

“I can’t die yet.” Drakan replied as his eyes began to glow red. “After all, were just getting started!” Suddenly, two fireballs appeared in Drakan’s hands. He then cupped his hands together, preparing some kind of spell. Segiro was tempted to attack, but decided to see what Drakan was planning.

Suddenly, Drakan opened his hands, revealing a very large fireball. He held this large ball of fire above his head. “Let’s see you stand up to this! FIRESTORM!” Drakan yelled as he shot the fireball into the air. After a few moments, the fireball exploded, creating a shower of tiny fireballs, which rained down on the tower.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

This shower of fire was an excellent attempt at scaring Segiro, but it was an attempt none-the-less. As the first tiny fireball grazed past his body, Segiro knelt down and curled up into a ball, bearing his thicker skinned back to the fire. A dense layer of ice formed over him, encasing his body almost totally in a crystaline shield.

Fire sizzled onto the skin of the ice, melting it and causing it to shrink, but by the time all the fire had finished falling, the shield was still realtivly intact. The ice began to vibrate, before shatering completely as Segiro rose out of it again.

"A foolish attempt at damaging me, but you'll have to do more than that to overcome my magic." Segiro laughed. "Now, try this on for size."

Segiro's eyes sudenly glazed over and faded to nothing but black. A wind seemed to blow across the top of the tower, and lighting began to fork more often. Suddenly a pool of darkness appeared at the feet of Drake, and he began to sink into it.
"What.. what is this magic!?" he yelled, his fear was beautiful, Segiro smiled.
"It is... darkness. It will consume you, sap you of your soul and turn you into an agent of evil. Welcome it."
His eyes faded back to normal and he watched as his enemy began his slow, sink into the pool of black energy.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

As Drakan sunk into the pit of darkness, he could feel his body, as well as his very soul, burning. He screamed in pain as the darkness burned his legs. Luckily, he wouldn’t need them in a moment.

Ignoring the pain, Drakan began to chant a small incantation he knew all too well. “Dragon’s Might, Burning Bright-“

Segiro raised an eyebrow to this strange spell. He didn’t see how it could help the warrior in this state. Was it a light spell? His brain pulsed with ideas as Drakan finished the spell.

“Give to me the power of flight!” Drakan cried, finishing his spell.

Upon hearing this, Segiro did something he had never done. He laughed. It was a sinister laugh, yet it was a laugh none the less. “Fool!” He yelled. “You can’t possible think that such a weak spell could counter my darkness?!?!?!”

As if on queue, a pair of red dragon wings sprouted from Drakan’s back. Using them, Drakan pulled himself out of the dark pit. He then delivered a powerful slash to the portal, causing it to dissipate.

“You still think you can defeat me?” Segiro asked angrily. “I’ll tear those accursed wings off your body and pound you bones into the ground!”

“You’re not the only one with a lot of magic spells, my friend!” Drakan yelled as he hovered in the air. Suddenly, he and his blade began to glow with intense red energy. Even though it was at a distance, it glowed with the intensity of a sun. Segiro could feel the energy from where he stood and put up his arms in defense of his body.

‘I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use so many of my powerful spells’ Drakan thought. ‘But, I guess I have no choice’. Drakan then began to slash into the air with his blade. The blade moved so fast, it created some kind of dragonic seal out of fire. After a moment, Drakan stabbed his sword into this seal, causing it to form the seal in red. “SEAL OF THE DRAGON!”

Suddenly, the same seal appeared underneath Segiro. Before he had a chance to react, though, he was surrounded by a circle of intense flames. Out of the circle came a gigantic pillar of flame, rising into the air, right where the Ice Goron stood.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Fire, Segiro's worst enemy. Enough to fry an ordinary Ice Goron in a matter of seconds. How fortunate, that Segiro had enough magic to cool himself so Absolute Zero before the flame surrounded him. The fire began to rapidly heat his body, but he also had other ideas. Grabbing his hammer, he slammed it into the floor, smashing a hole in the roof and leading into the room below.

Outside the circle of fire his enemy could only see what he hoped was happening. A goron burning. BUt no. Segiro jumped down the hole and landed safely, if not very hot and annoyed in the chamber below.
"Idiot." he mumbled, looking up at the other hole he created earlier. Using dark magic to lift himself out he came to face the back of his enemy, who was still looking at the fire.

'How unfortunate' Segiro though, lifting his hammer into the air and swinging it down, slamming it onto the back of his enemy, forcing him tohis knees and making him scream in pain as bones surely cracked.

Segiro lifted his hammer back to his shoulder and looked at his enemy as he turned around, still crouched over in pain. Segiro's eyes narrowed. His body may have been dark already, but covered in rapbid burn marks and still red with heat, these wounds had not yet healed. His hair was half burnt away and the smell of stale smoke wafted from him.

"Now, you have made me mad."

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Drakan struggled to get back up, still recovering from the force of Segiro’s hammer. The attack had most certainly cracked two or three of his ribs and severely damaged his spinal cord. Luckily, his wings had suffered minimal damage.

Segiro looked down on the warrior, his hammer held above his head. All over his body, he had several burn marks that had not healed up yet. His eyes narrowed.

“Now, you have made me mad.”

Drakan looked up. “Well… that… makes two of us!” he said as he threw a surprise fireball straight at the Ice Goron’s eyes. Segiro screamed with pain as he clutched his eyes.

Taking advantage of his opponent’s moment of weakness, Drakan stabbed his sword into the ground and used it as a cane to lift himself back onto the ground.

‘He’s been able to resist everyone of my fire attacks.’ Drakan thought. ‘There has to be some way to damage him so that he won’t be able to heal from. Wait- That’s it!’

Segiro looked towards Drakan. Now, he was really mad. He pointed towards Drakan. “You are dead!” he screamed at the human warrior.

Ignoring the comment, Drakan began another spell. Again, his eyes began to glow red. Several storm clouds began to swarm above him.

“What’s this? Another of your low-class spell? Why don’t you just give up and stay down, human!?”

Dozens of lightning bolts began coming down behind the two warriors. “I bet that hammer acts as a pretty good lightning rod, doesn’t it?” Drakan replied.

Suddenly, several lightning bolts struck Segiro’s massive hammer, causing the electricity to course through the ice warrior’s body.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Gah, i had this all typed out yesterday but it deleted itself. GAHAH!!

---

The lightning surged through Segiro's body. It could have been far worse, but the skeletal structure of the Skull Hammer was not a perfect conductor of electricity. The low level deposits of iron though, proved unhelpful.

Segiro bit down and looked as though he were in great pain to confuse his enemy. Feeling darkness swell through his body, Segiro lifted his hammer, slowly and juttering to continue the show of weakness, then suddenly slamming it forwards, shooting an arc of shadow energy towards Draken.

Draken reached out his arms to block, and held up against the attack, as it pushed him to the very edges of the arena. Slipping Draken fell off, but his wings saved him by allowing him to hover at the edge.

"I will fight you atop this tower no longer." Segiro cried, still ppearing to struggle beneath the crackles of lighting that danced over his skin.
"So you surrender to me?" Draken asked.
"Never!" Segiro cried, suddenly curling into a ball and leaping high into the air. Still curled he appeared to back flip and fall down though one of the hole in the floor his hammer had created.

Landing in the chamber below, Segiro reached up and sealed the hole behind him, combining Dark and Ice magic to create Red Ice, the kind that he was once frozen in, unbreakable without Blue Fire. This left only one more hole. Segiro waited.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

OOC: Hey Razorleaf! Good to see you back from your trip! Well, I suppose we should continue our duel.

In Character:

Drakan hesitated. He knew for a fact that Red Ice was unbreakable, except when melted by blue fire. ‘It could be at trap. He could just be trying to trap me inside the tower’ Drakan thought.

The warrior sighed. He knew, no matter how much he convinced himself not to go in there, he was gonna end up entering the tower anyway. That’s just how he was. “Oh well, better get it over with now.”

Drakan flew through the small hole, easily landing in the center of the chamber. The large room was very dark, and the only light in the room came from two or three lit candles hanging on the wall. Segiro had already made himself at home in the chamber, filling the room with ice and creating several stalactites and stalagmites out of ice all over the room.

Suddenly, Segiro rushed out of the darkness and delivered a surprise attack from the side with his massive hammer. Drakan managed to block the powerful blow with his greatsword, but the sheer force of the attack sent the warrior flying back into one of the icy walls.

“I see you have decided to show up. An action that will cost you dearly.” Segiro said in a dark voice.

Now that his eyes had adjusted to the darkness, Drakan could easily see his foe in the dim light.

“Enough talk! It’s time we ended this battle!” Drakan cried out.

Segiro’s eyes narrowed as he held his malicious hammer. “Very well. Prepare for your demise, human!” The ice behemoth screamed as he lunged forward, ready to unleash a powerful attack with hammer.

Drakan rolled to the side of the attack, delivering another fire slash to Segiro’s side, melting part of the icy surroundings of the room in the process.

Segiro was ready, though, and blocked Drakan’s attack with his hammer. Drakan quickly performed a back flip, putting space between his opponent and himself. ‘This is gonna be tougher than I thought’ Drakan thought as he held his sword in front of himself to block Segiro’s next attack.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Segiro watched his foe with careful watchful eyes. This boy was agile, fast, and lithe. Difficult for a Goron to keep in veiw. Fortunatly this room was so reflective and iced over that watching him somehow would not pose much of a problem.

Segiro reared back and his foe drew his sword into a defencive position. Segiro paused for a second in a feint attack, but then threw his hammer forward, sending it spinning through the air at his foe. The hammer missed as Draken rolled, but the power of it's launch knocked the sword from his hands and metal hit skull.

The hammer embedded itself in the wall, it's hilt sticking out precautiously, while Draken's blade spun out and jammed itself into the ground elsewhere. Segiro smashed his fists together and a pair of gauntlets formed over his palms. Silvery blue with spikes on the knuckles and down the back.

"Lets fight!"

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Drakan was in trouble. He had lost the most powerful weapon in his arsenal. And though Segiro had also lost his most powerful weapon, he still had a weapon to fight with. Luckily, Drakan was not defenseless, either.

Quickly drawing his twin longswords, Drakan crossed the two weapons in front of him and said, “Alright, Segiro! Round 2, let’s go!”

A sinister smirk crossed the Ice Goron’s lips. “You’re so eager to die, are you? Well, I’ll be happy to oblige your wish!”

Making the first move, Drakan quickly ran towards Segiro. He ducked underneath the Ice Goron’s punches and delivered a twin slashes attack to the Goron’s stomach before running backwards to dodge Segiro’s counter attack.

“Look’s like your plan failed, buddy!” Drakan yelled.

“Is that what you think?” Segiro asked demonically. “Well, maybe you should take another look?”

Drakan looked towards where he had attacked Segiro, but to his surprise, the Ice Goron did not have a scratch! Drakan was stunned.

“What’s the matter, human? Can’t defeat me without your precious flametounge?” Segiro asked, referring to Drakan’s Greatsword.

Drakan’s eyes narrowed. “Shut up and fight!” He yelled as he rushed towards his foe again. This time, he rolled to the side and delivered a triple slash attack to Segiro’s side. His attack didn’t even leave a scratch.

Segiro responded to the attack by slamming his fists into the ground where Drakan stood. Drakan quickly jumped over the Ice Goron and deliver another attack with his blades. Again, the blow had no effect. This time, though, Segiro had enough time to respond. Quickly, he delivered a powerful double-fist attack to Drakan.

Drakan quickly held up his blades, blocking the attack from hitting him. The force of the attack, though, sent the warrior flying into another ice wall.

‘This is not good’ Drakan thought to himself. ‘Not good at all’.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Segiro smirked, this was going well. A flurry of slashes, a well delt attack would have reduced any other species to pulp, but for a Goron, their natural rocky skin was a defiant shield against such an attack. and now, without any fire to burn him, Segiro was unstoppable.

Segiro marched forwards to wards his foe, his fists clenched shut, fingers grinding into the palms with a vile determination. He raised his fists over his head, clamped them together and prepared to deliver his final blow to his enemy, when Draken leapt up, kicked off the wall and somersaulted over Segiro's head, slashing wildly with his swords.

Segiro screeched in pain, as a blade sliced across his face and cut across his eye. Blood erupted from the wound, before it froze over with ice and dark magic. Segiro pulled his hand away from his face, blinked his healthy eye and roared. Enraged like wild beast, he stumbled towards Draken, completely blind now in one eye.

"Curse you human, you'll pay dearly for that."

--

Must remember to update profile. Blind in one eye now.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Drakan glared at his opponent, who was now more enraged than ever. Though both warriors had suffered from great injuries, neither would admit defeat.

“If you’re trying to scare me, it’s not working.” Drakan said in a calm voice. “I’ve defeated tougher foes than you and I’ll defeat you as well!”

“You still think you can defeat me, human?” Segiro asked, still cringing with pain from being blinded. “If anything, you’ve only ensured your chances of death!”

“If you’re so sure, than finish me off,” Drakan said as he crossed his swords in front of his body. “That is, if you have the courage to.”

Segiro roared in anger and pain. “I’ll crush you into dust, you worthless insect!” Within seconds, Segiro began to run towards Drakan, ready to pummel him into nothingness.

Drakan stood there, ready to take the full brunt of the attack. ‘Ancient Dragons. Alphazar. Mother. Father. Please guide me.’

“Die!” Segiro screeched as his fist met Drakan’s blades.

For a moment, the two just stood there, neither moving an inch. Segiro’s eyes narrowed. He slammed his other fist against the blades. The force of the attack began to push back Drakan ever so slightly, but, for the most part, Drakan held his ground.

“Insolent fool!” Segiro yelled. The Ice Goron began pushing against Drakan’s blades with all his might, pushing Drakan back even more.

Suddenly, Drakan stopped completely. His eyes began to glow red with intense energy. In mere seconds, Drakan began pushing Segiro backwards!

“H-how is this possible?!?!” Segiro yelled.

“This is for all the people you’ve hurt,” Drakan said as he began to push Segiro back even farther.

“This can’t be!” the Ice Goron yelled.

“This is for all the lives you’ve destroyed!” Drakan yelled as he knocked Segiro back into on of the icy walls. “And this,” Drakan rushed towards Segiro and jumped into the air, his blades pointed towards Segiro. “Is for messing with me!!!” Drakan yelled as he delivered a flurry of powerful slashes to Segiro.

Re: Battle atop Ganon's Tower (Random)

Segiro slammed into wall, pushed back by an unbelievable force. He gritted his teeth and prepared to attack again when he came under bombardement by a faster, more delicate flurry of slashes. These slashes seemed targeted, and more deadly, as they were actually cutting through Segiro's rocky exterior.

"No, this isn't possible..." Segiro roared in disbeleief. He curled up ho
