The Epic Battle (Open and UNLIMITED)

OoC: Idea I proposed in the "OoC" thread. Not very many people showed interest, so let's see if you show interest now that it's started. Right, so, I'd prefer it if you used very over-the-top or fantastic characters in this thread. Make it as epic as possible, given the setting and scenario. All normal rules apply, yadda yadda. I'll be using the character in my signature.

BiC:

Saurus was carried down the river for quite some time; after a disastrous misadventure in a now completely flooded swamp, he had nowhere to go but be carried on by the rapids while struggling to keep his head above the surface. Eventually, the waters no longer splashed violently, and Saurus saw an opportunity to reach dry land once again. He found himself on the side of the river, near a large, grassy field. Taking a moment to dry himself off, he then began to examine his surroundings.

"Alright, anything I could make use of?" he asked himself, as he scanned the area. The first thing he noticed was the electro-gun he built for himself in the swamp washing up on to the sandy earth; the second thing he noticed was what appeared to be a crashed fighter jet a little ways in to the field. Grabbing the depleted gun, he began to wander off in the direction of the wrecked jet. "First, I must assemble a new weapon; that jet should have the necessary parts." he said to himself, without questioning why a wrecked fighter jet was in a place like this.

A small man poked his head out of the wrecked jet as Saurus was approaching. "What... what is that?" the man asked himself, as he saw Saurus in the distance. Now seeing the dinosaur stomping along clearly, he began to struggle to get out of the jet. "Oh ♥♥♥♥; what is that? ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥!" he panicked; now nearly free of the the wrecked jet. He immediately began to run off, but unfortunately for him, Saurus caught up and quickly gobbled him up.

"I deserved a good snack." Saurus told himself, savouring the taste of the man's flesh. Saurus then began ripping apart the fighter jet, and grabbed a few items out of his tool bags. In less than an hour's time, Saurus was able to cobble together a few fighter droids and modify his weapon in to a machine gun. He used nearly all of the remnants of the fighter jet, and decided that it would be best to start moving on. However, something caught his eye; something at the very bottom of the jet's remnants.

"What could that be?" Saurus pondered to himself, as he eyed what appeared to be a tiny stuffed sheep doll, no larger than a segment of a garlic bulb. Out of curiosity, Saurus poked the doll a few times with the tip of his gun. Unexpectedly, the crash site of the jet erupted in to a mushroom cloud, sending Saurus and his droids flying back several yards, until they hit a rather large, grassy mound. Saurus laid in shock for a few moments, before an expression of pleasure crossed his face. "Yes; just what I was looking for... the component necessary for me to build my WMD!" Saurus cheerfully said to himself. "Explodium! So the coordinates were not as far off the mark as I had expected... well, time to find the deposit where this substance originated from." Saurus said.

Saurus scrambled to his feet and began to head off for a few moments, until the sounds of bullets zipped past. Immediately, Saurus took cover on the opposite side of the mound, and peered over, to see where the bullets originated. In the distance, Saurus could spot several soldiers battling in the middle of the field. Jets soon filled the skies, bombing the land and firing at eachother, and what appeared to be a giant mech-suit around his size could be seen in the distance. "My word; they must be battling over the deposits of explodium hidden within this area..." Saurus concluded.

Tightly holding on to his makeshift machine gun, he was quite ready to strike if necessary.
