Yellow's Pokemon Art Thread

I decided to put in my two cents worth in the Artwork Section. Right now, I'm really developing my skills, criticism is accepted and expected.

I"m sorry the pictures are upside down, I'll try to fix it when I update it with more pics.

On most of them your shading needs work, there shouldn't be any white showing through the shaded parts, although on the third one it looks like a stylistic choice. When you shade sure it's all in the same direction, and practice moving your pencil in small oval movements, which helps make the direction you shaded ambiguous. Also, it'd be nice to see more varience within the shading. At this point it was really just demonstrating color, but there should be light and dark variance within the colors where light and shadow comes into play. Line work and proportions are pretty good.

I'll try to work on that on my other ones. I wasn't really focusing on shading, I was just getting the bodies and such down. Thanks.
