[Dump] Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Awful doodle of Waluigi and Wario. You can tell I totally stopped caring as soon as I started drawing Wario's body.
Whatever, I love drawing Waluigi though.

The other one I did is something I'm not showing, so this is my daily doodle for today.

I kinda like how beefed up Wario is, as opposed to just being a fat POS.

And the arm hair. THE ARM HAIR. THE HAIRANITY Of THE ARM HUM.

I don't see any arm hair...

Your little sketchy lines, mixed with what looks like some visual noise/scannerism looks like arm hair to me.

And I like it!

Oh now I see it. I'm not sure what that is.
But if it was arm hair, it sure as hell ain't in the right spot.

I demand your next sketch-of-the-day involves intentional arm hair.

Hehhe! i like how Wario looks all Brooklyn and stuff! another one that could use color and a really silly background!

Yeah, I tried to make the wild Pokemon battle theme (RBY) into Paper Mario-styled music, and it didn't quite come out that way.

It doesn't sound perfect, but the beat is nice. Maybe make it from some different instruments...

...I'm starting to doodle in class too. My art doesn't have nearly the same amount of personality or style that yours does, but I'm getting better! First I sketched a Samus, who's head/shoulders/arms turned out pretty well, but I freestyled on the arm cannon because I couldn't remember what it looked like, and I completely ****ed up the torso. The next day I drew Fawful, who turned out AWESOME if I do say so myself. Then I drew a boo, a bomb-omb, and some random evil face with a hat.

Yeah, trying to take an existing song and trying to turn it into another existing style doesn't work out so good.

I just went through and listened to a lot of you're music, Tonchiki... and they're awesome. My favorites are Untitled 103, Mushroom Scratchin' and Heads Up Mario!
But there are still so many to listen to!

Also I drew Link today. Turned out pretty well except for his legs. I can never do legs for some reason...

Legs suck. Actually, pretty much any limb sucks to draw.
Actually, bodies suck in general. I'm pretty sure nobody likes drawing bodies unless they're extremely perverted and are drawing for their own sexual pleasure. And that's just fricking weird.

What program do you use for making your music doodles?
I've always been real interested in video game music and things and you have perked my interest further with yer fancy tunes and such.

FL-****ing-Studio.

It is probably the easiest program ever to learn to make music. It's entirely visual, so if you're an idiot like me when it comes to music, you're fine. You really have to know nothing about music to start screwing around with it.

I use the demo version, because it's free, and it the only limitation it has is that you can't save your projects (as FL files)! However, you can still export your music (mp3s and such), and you can export them as MIDIs as well. You can then re-import the MIDIs later to change them, although they don't save everything so you do have to go back and replace a lot of things.

Basically, that's how I use it as a rudimentary saving method, and for a totally free program, that isn't half freaking bad, I'd say!

If you need any help with figuring the program out, hit me up-- I'm always happy to try helping with a program I find awesome.

EDIT: I just checked, and it seems they've released a new version, 9. I've been using 6 for a while, and then 8 more recently (there isn't a huge difference that I notice). I wonder how 9 is.

Alright, stuff. I know I said I'd doodle every day and pretty much already failed (big surprise), but I've been drawing more than I've been uploading. I just can't show most of it. So here's a couple doodles I can show from the past few days.

Yeah, this was in school, sketching from a live model (nude, but there's none in the sketches, I didn't get that far). These suck basically because I suck at drawing from life and I was rusty on top of that. But these are probably closer to being critique-able than the cartoon doodles. I also can't shake the cartooniness when I try to draw from life, and I hate it.

I hear ya with the life drawing. Im absolute crap at that so i can understand. They look ok though.
