I see, thanks. Unfortunately doodles are all I have to upload for now, so they'll all look like that.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Added a few more pieces of music to the first post. This time a little more original music.

Toxic Seahorse Duet
This happened for no reason. I was just fooling around with guitar sounds, and added the Toxic Seahorse (MegaMan X3) melody to it because it popped into my head in the middle of it.

Untitled 66
An older "untitled" musical doodle. This one's a generic beach-sounding theme. It's basically done, too; I just have nothing to use it for yet. So it remains untitled.

Animal Crossing Remade Music Demo
Music from the Animal Crossing games that were remade from scratch, by ear, by yours truly. I'm working on an animated series related to Animal Crossing, so I had to remake lots of the games' music to be consistent with my own original music. This is a short mash of some of them (but not even close to all).

DiAF Original Music Demo
This is a short demo of some original music I made up myself to go with the aforementioned Animal Crossing cartoon. Lots of it is obsolete (I've since replaced many of the older instruments), but I wasn't bothered enough to make a new reel.
I've got a ton more songs made for this series (over 100 so far, both original and from the games).

Cinder Crater
This was for a game idea I had. I occasionally tinker around with the coding, that one day I might finish the game. It would be an upbeat side-scroller. This music was for the volcano level, Cinder Crater.

Floaport
For the same game as Cinder Crater was, this song was for Floaport, the hero's home town. It was, as you can guess, a port town.

I'm listening to the Animal Crossing one and I like it so much I think I'm going to have to go back and listen to all of the music!

You know what I like best about your sketch work? You don't just settle for normal poses. You're diverse with how you position your characters, daring enough to do perspective which a lot of artists shy away from. I LOVE how it's straight out of your notebook.

I know nothing, noooooooothing, about making that kinda music so I can't critique much. I can say that you've got some serious talent I would love to steal for a day xD. Seriously, though, it's good stuff, buddy.

Ha ha, I love cartoons, and the looser the pose, the better. When doodling, my characters, even if they're just standing, might have a tendency to stand in this pose with some ridiculous arch in their back or something. I love over-exaggerating poses, especially ones that are boring to begin with.

Thank you very much!
Hopefully soon I'll have some more drawings to put up.
It's too bad I have an "embargo" on 80% of them right now.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Not to bump it so fast again, but I do have a couple more doodles for now.
I figure it makes more sense to add a few at a time, instead of the whole shebang like the beginning, since it's easier to look through at one time instead of having a million things at once.

^ Dunno if I already have one up there, but this is what I refer to as a "random page", which is basically the most non sequitur/insane things I can think of on one page.
I love drawing Waluigi. XD

^ And here's an army guy going ballistic.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

I really like that you drew the same character in different poses on the same page. It can be easy to draw a character once, but to draw them several times from different angles and poses (and keep them consistent looking) is much harder. Plus it makes the page a lot more interesting, even if it is just a sketch.

Also love the crazy train

I don't really like many of the art threads around these parts (I think that makes me sound like a total ass) but I'm a big fan of yours, Tonchiki. I continue you to love your off the wtf wall cartoons, and I just finished listening to all the music tracks. Great stuff. I'm not about to throw up a bunch of criticism here right now, but if you ever need any help, tips, suggestions of feedback from someone who knows some stuff about music, I'm always up for a listen. :D

Yeah, especially when I doodle, I rarely ever leave just one thing on the page. If it's a specific character, I'll usually doodle them multiple times across the page. Ironically, consistency is one of the things I'm weakest in (especially on different days).

It's fun being off the wtf wall.
I'm pretty sure one of my doodle pages has a potato in a top hat on it doing vaudeville.

2chan came before 4chan, and 7chan happened when 4chan broke for a couple of months. I dunno about the other ones. They just kind of happened.

Angrychan is the best. It has two boards; /rage/ and /b/.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Got a few more doodles and music.

^ Just some completely nameless, random character I doodled, with intent from the beginning to make it a completely random character. No idea. The armbands make him remind me of MegaMan.

^ This is incredibly light. It's just a couple more random character designs I just doodled on the spot. Nothing really to them.

For music:

Aston's Theme
This original song is a theme to a character in a series of mine that has to do with ghosts. This character actually is a ghost. The series's musical style is commonly like this, being simple and kinda repetitive in its structure. It also commonly mixes orchestral and synthetic instruments.

Animal Crossing N64/GC Title Theme
I love this song, and I'm pretty happy with how this copy turned out, especially considering I had to do it from scratch by ear.

Animal Crossing Wild World/City Folk/LGTTC Theme
Wild World's theme. Man, those slightly dissonant chords killed me (and I still don't think I got them quite right, but whatever).

EDIT: Since the first post goes over the image-per-post limit, all of the pictures from now on are going to be links in it, but they'll still be embedded in these new posts.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

After Liah's making all these ridiculous Paint drawings, I figured I should give doodling in Paint a shot for once. Eh... the results are less than stellar.

^ It's Glass Joe, from Punch-Out!!
This thing is a mess, because I'm not used to doodling in Paint, and it got extremely aggravating to clean up after the initial sketch. I think I'll stick to Flash, thanks.

^ Yeah, Flash, that's the ticket.
Ty the Time Manager approves.

^ Four Swords!
Done in Flash. This picture's pretty old, though (over a year).

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Today I've got just one little picture and a couple tunes.

^ Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
Yyyeah, I drew this for a report in high school once.
Not much about it to talk about.
(I'm running out of showable drawings right now...)

Game Plan
For my animated series involving paranormal investigation. This is a simple tune that would chime in when they're going over details of the case among themselves.

Hydrocity Act 02
This is a really old one I made, yet I still don't really dislike how it sounds now.
Granted, if I updated the instruments it'd sound a lot better.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

Got a couple tunes. Also, the entire first post now consists of links for pictures (including the original ones I posted). There's just way too many to embed them all.

EarthBound's Eight Melodies

I love EB's Sound Stone tune (more then Mother's, eight melodies, even). I didn't really have any clue how to end it, so the end just sucks.

The Glitz Pit
I tried recreating the Glitz Pit from Paper Mario:TTYD. Why? Dunno.

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

^ Heh, thank you.

Well, not much today, but I made one song just now.
Theme of Cowboy Crawdad

Yeah, remember Cowboy Crawdad? I made a theme song for him, for no reason whatsoever. This is just an instrumental version (since I have no one to sing the song really), but I did make up lyrics to it:

Quote:

Re: Tonchiki's World of Doodletude and Artaphernalia

So I just went back and put watermarks over all of my doodles, because all my drawings are my babies (regardless of how crappy they are). So, sorry for the annoying watermarks, but that's how it is.

Anyway, I guess I'll also put up another song. How about...
Mario Mix (Unfinished)
This was a tribute that I never finished. It has some songs from Donkey Kong, SMB, and SMB2 (Doki Doki Panic). It's a really old one, so the instruments suck. Also, I apparently decided not to put in the Bowser level music for the SMB mix.

I'll also go ahead and reiterate that I have a ton of crap that I wish I could show you guys, but I can't for various reasons. I normally would have at least five or six doodles a week I could put up, but 90% fall into that range of "can't show it yet". So I guess I'll have to work faster to enable that stuff to go out.
