Well like I said, it's a decorative piece. I can't find the recipe at the monent and can't remember exactly what's in it, but it's basicaly a cream mixture with gelatin so it gets firm. Then we had to finely cut veg to make the design.

I keep meaning to get some more pics on here, but I've had very little time between my schooling, work and lacrosse. However, I am still learning some interesting things. Just last week I made a great bechemel which got turned into awesome mac & cheese the next day at work. There was also clam chowder the week before. That week I also had to help one of my group memebrs alot for his consume to come out nice.

Anyways, I'll keep you updated with what I'm doing and if anyone whats to know more about a particular recipe, just let me know and I will expand on it. I also hope to get some more pics up this weekend.

EDIT: Oh ya, and I'm also eating the left over crepes I made my friend the other day for brunch.

EDIT: Finaly got the time for a few more pics!

This one's a white chocolate bovarian cream with starbery and I think peach puree.


I don't remember the specifics on most of this, but it's from Greece week. There's lamb, braised okra, rice, and some mixed veg that you can't realy see.

Orange week! This one we kind of had to make up most of the recipies, so I can't remember exactly what they are. But basicaly we've got orange baked beans, an asian inspired orange noodle salad, strip beef cooked with an orange dressing and zest, and carrots boiled in orange jiuce (actualy came out better then I thought it would).


Spinach salad topped with fetta cheese and an orange vinergette.


Orange cake with a white chocolate topping.

geezus, I just had some really good sushi, and you're making me hungry again and craving more.

Art food is a curse. It makes you hungry, yet it's too good-looking to just eat it

We were playing around with some ideas for meals in class today. We have to do a thing for the press about local food on Wendesday, so we were getting ready for that. We only plated one dish today, but we sent it over to photography for some pics and they look great. I can't wait to get them back and post them up!

You'd be surprised what you can do with scraps and leftovers. In fact, if you like a variety of veg then there are a ton of possibilities!

Really? Neat, only I don't know what you can do with leftovers. I mainly like to make deserts. Ginger Snaps are my favorite.
