Replica weapons
Just wondering if anyone has ever made an attempt at crafting some of links weapons or apparel.
I realize that a full metal version of the master sword from OOT and TP can be purchased online, also noted that you can purchase a version of his shield from both games, although they are half the size they should be. I have found pictures online of what look quite a bit like links bow, but it appears to be made out of paper or plaster. What i refer to is an exact replica, a full size fully functional bow with all the trimming from TP. Or perhaps a full size shield that is properly painted. I've been in the antique restoration business for 10 years now. I recently came across an old bow. In its current configuration it looks nothing like the fairy bow, but with some woodwork and time it could look exactly like and work exactly like links bow. I wonder if anyone would purchase such a thing..... would you? The more i think about it the more i realize that i have quite a few things that could easily be restored into a Zeldaesque fashon. Keep in mind that I'm not talking about making toys, nor am i refering to cobbling together some pile of junk for fun. I have a large wood working shop and 10 years experience. Anyway, just passing thoughts jumbled into one huge run on sentence. Thanks for the read and if you have any links to pictures of replica's or comments on anything, please feel free to respond.

Re: Replica weapons
Hmm, I don't know what to tell you. In the mall next to my house there used to a be a knife shop, in which they had a bunch of weapons from lord of the rings, so I know there's a market for it, but after awhile they went out of business.
Personally, if I was a crime fighter, I'd be in the market for something ergonomical, like what you might offer, but not too much otherwise. Anyway, good luck on your quest. |

Re: Replica weapons
Here's an awesome Stainless Steel Master Sword. It looks exactly like the one in Twilight Princess, albeit the hand gaurd is steel grey instead of purple.
The Master Sword Here's another site with a whole bunch of replicas from different games and animes. They've got other Zelda swords here-including, from Majora's Mask, the Fierce Diety's Helix sword, Odwala's sword, and the Razor sword. They've also got the Ordon Sword there as well. I'm impressed they've got the buster Sword from "Advent Children" on there, with all the seperating swords and everything. Kingdom Hearts Fans will like the Keyblade replica... Re: Replica weapons
I realize that many swords are currently available, i have most of them already in full steel.
I wasn't implying that they were to be used for actual cutting... I was more reffering to a working hookshot or a full sized fairy bow. Yes i realize the hookshot wouldn't actualy be able to pull you up onto anything, but it could still fire and hook to things if you decided to make one (call mythbusters) lol.
