Eternal Legend's Traditional Artworks

I've moved on from developing fanfic to creating portraits of real life people in a while's time:

Here are some examples of my art:

A boy that just woke up. I find this one very cute and innocent like. ^_^ His hair was very time consuming...

The loving bond between a father and his newborn baby. This one is one of my favourites. The dad's hair took AGES to do though.

Hehe this one is the guy off my signature and the Avatar before my Okami one that I currently have now. He is Sylar, the villian from the Heroes series. He's one of my favourite villians of all time. Pure evil This picture only took me an hour to complete. His eyes are clody because he is using his "future sight" power.

Here is a work that I specially put up to see what it looks like when I create an image before I shade and complete it. It's a baby elf. I'll fix the ears though when I do some more work on it to make it look like an elf.

An early production of Aragon from the movie series Lord Of The Rings. You can see what I do here too. This one will take very long to complete.

All of my images were created on A4 sheets of paper (high quality) and I preferably use Derwent Graphite Pencils to create them all.

No technology is used since computer art is very alienated to me. All hand drawn and all of them made from imagination alone, except for the characters off the movies. These pictures can be also found on my Deviant Art account on my signature, so yeah.

Well I hope you enjoy them. I'm wiling to draw more in future and if you have any ideas, please feel free to tell me.

Don't steal and enjoy.

.. golly. Those are wonderful! Very, very nice. I wish I could do such detail when I do traditional art, but noooo.

But you're amazing. Keep it up. n_n

Aww thanks! ^_^ Haha, I will NEVER stop my art that's for sure. Even since I picked up the lead pencil when I was a wee child and saw what I could do with it, I won't stop now.

Wow... Thanks for that nice compliment! *shy face* Even still, I'm trying to make them as life like as possible.

Legend, those are gorgeous. The level of detail you capture is incredible, especially in the hair of the first two, and the skin tones throughout are expertly done. Not to mention your semi-complete Aragorn portrait is instantly recognizable. ^^

I wonder, do you do other works that don't focus on people at all? I'd love to take a look at your dA account, but it's a blocked site from my work computer. :/

Either way, a pleasure to see such professional looking art.

Awww... Thank you Burty! That's nice of you to comment kindly.

Doing portraits is my major speciality. I do manga, architecture, animals, fantasy (such as dragons and elves and such), surreal and abstract art, and much much much more.

I hope to put up different work in future when I complete them.

Don't say all your drawings are crap!

But for the time being, I don't have a dragon picture on me and I am busy finishing with a manga pic that I will put up quite soon if I get the job done.

But I do draw fantasy creatures A LOT when I am bored.

Perhaps I can draw something for you if your want?

Re: Eternal Legend's Traditional Artworks

This is my very special picture of an early created character for a manga release book or anime episodes in future.

I will be the main lead artist of this production, so I am very excited! =D

I can't release too much detail about it. Only that ZU is the first to know of this.

I could definately yes. I just need time and the motivation to do so. But I am likely to create it if people really want me to.

Amazing... Simply amazing...

I wish I could draw like you. I'm not very good at drawing, but I love to do it and I keep drawing, no matter how good or bad they look.

Keep up the good work!

Wow, you're really good, EL. The best I've seen in quite sometime, in fact! You should color, though, that'd make your pictures look even better!

Btw, I draw too, but I haven't been able to show any stuff because one of my dogs chewed a cable on my scanner.

Here is the full picture of my signature that I drew during my spare time. From the exclusive Twilight movie of course. Took like... 4 days to complete. O_o

Sorry for not replying sooner. I forgot that I had this thread of mine here.

I don't really have a taste for using colour much. Graphic pencils seem to bring out more emotion and a deeper atmosphere than colour. But that is my own personal opinion anyway.

I've seen some of your work. Unfortunately, I am more of a traditional artist than someone who uses photoshop or anything of that sort so I don't really have that much knowledge on computer imagery art.

But your drawings are amazing nonetheless.

Really? You think so? Thanks! :]

And I understand. Your pics look good without the color anyway. :]

Amazing EL! ^_^

Though may I make a suggestion on the Twilight one? The hand looks odd... If it's the girl's, then it looks to masculine, and if it is the boy's then it doesn't look like it is in the right angle. Though that may just be me...

Other then that, good job!

Yes yes... It's a terribly rushed through picture.

I had a time limit to complete it, and I spent too much of my valuable time on Edward's face (the guy).

I hated drawing and shading the girl Bella... I was stressed with other issues and you can see it pretty much all over her.

To draw is to make sure that you have the right emotions to create such a picture. Anger makes your picture look sharp and heavy, Sadness makes t look soft and happiness makes it look bright.

Unfortunately for this one, I have rushed in some areas... especially the hand.

I will redraw like... Next year perhaps since I have other artwork projects to complete.

But thanks for the criticism. It helps me to improve.

EDIT: The hand belongs to the girl.

Re: Eternal Legend's Traditional Artworks

Looking back at all of your pictures that you have posted in this topic... I really love the eyes on them. They seem so life-like and full of emotion... Maybe someday I'll be able to draw like that...
