[Fa] ([Orig]) Young Ganondorf comic conceptart and sketches.

Alright, so it looks like the whole ZU official webcomic thing is on a hold. However I still plan on continuing making the concepts for the comic as well as drawing possible important scenes for his story.

I am not going to reveal exactly what is happening in these scenes, in case the webcomic starts again, so let your imagination run wild!

First up, the rough concept sketches of a young Ganondorf (made before the ZU webcomic was even a plan):











Next, a scene of the young Ganny at arbiters ground (I drew an enemy in there too, but haven't scanned that finished drawing yet):








And finally, the colored scene done by the great super-fergus:

The first couple not long at all, they're just quick sketches. The one at arbiters ground took me longer because I kept erasing and re-adding lines. It's still not even close to being perfect

So I got some new stuff:


A gerudo girl/woman with some originality added, every gerudo should look different. I still gave her a big nose for manga-ish standards, haha.







I just started this one, so there are a lot of things not drawn yet haha (like his arm and poncho). This is another scene, it's supposed to be the very first appearance of Ganondorf's phantom alter-ego. I'll update this one untill it's finished.

Yes the soldiers hand is messed up, I know, there are probably still a lot of things that are going to change.

But,.. look I donno maybe you wanted to do it like this, but did you noticed your mistakes?
I just want to show you what I noticed....

1. In your concept art of YGanondorf he had a tatoo on his left arm, but in the next picture in the arena you can't see the tatoo on his left arm.... (but I also noticed that you changed some more things on him since the concept work progress)
2. The hand of the guard on the newest picture is... the wrong way. It looks like he got two right hands you know? I mean the one with the latern...
That's all, otherwise I really love the artwork. =D

Those are pretty damn good. Way to go, Fergus, nice job as well. If you don't mind though I would like to make one little (fanboy) critique. Since Ganondorf was born to be King of the Gerudos, shouldn't he be a bit better ordained. Nothing too fancy, knowing thier culture, but just mayby more then a poncho or something. Other then that, it looks awesome, keep up the good work.

Yes that's true, the tattoo was just a small idea but I decided to drop that. Because it was meh.

Your looking at the hand the wrong way though, he's turning the inside of his hand outwards, so what you are seeing is not the back of his hand but the inside. It will be more clear next time I update this drawing, I can understand though why you would see it that way. ^^

This drawing will probably go through many more changes, it's still in the early stages where I'm just placing things, once everything is in place I'll begin editing the details and stuff (notice the soldier in the top right of the drawing).

Well actually, that wouldn't work with the story and I'm not going to reveal why.

I've got and update.. It's an entirely new drawing, the scene will have to wait for now. This one I did just for fun last night during an MSN convo. I had a wallpaper in mind, this is only one third of the picture (the middle):



Another work in progress, nice and sketchy, just the way I like it! Right now though I am working on something else. Iroas is a busy bee.

True, and I'd hate the idea of drawing the tattoo over and over again in each image of the comic!

I haven't seen your art in ages, man! And, as always, you have blown me away. X_X

The action scenes flow so perfectly, its amazing! The poses are awesome too, you make them all look so unique. And how you do so well with perspective, psh, it's something else.

As for this last one--the sketchiness is totally what makes it your own. I can look at something and be like, "psh, Iroas MUST have done that." Your style rocks. XD

I expect more. >:]
