Making up your own fan stories is greatly entertaining; It's fun to take your ideas and face the challenge of molding them to fit in with what's canon. Kinda makes me wanna put up a little of my own art, too (maybe I finally should, like I said I would a year ago XD)...

I love the half-and-half shot of Ganondorf and Phantom. Also, since I love the way sketches look, naturally, yours looks great. I also like how you drew the guard with the lantern (barring the funky hand).

I'm honestly trying to find something to critique that others haven't pointed out yet, and I can't spot anything! Well done once again, guys. (By the way, super-fergus, I love the thick-edged outline you gave Ganondorf. I'm a fan of doing that, myself.)

Haven't updated this thread in a long while, but I have a reason: I'm in le France right now, so yeah I've been drawing a little but not much and needles to say I don't have a scanner here. :/

I left them out on purpose, they would've been in the way, it's just a little design sketch.

UPDATE - Got myself a wacom intuos graphics tablet. Mainly for this project.

I haven't drawn much at all this vacation, most of the time I was too busy having hangovers or sleeping at the beach, honestly, this vacation has exhausted me x)
I have drawn some stuff though, and the webcomic was on my mind a lot.

Got two more sketches/drawings coming up later, a random phantom drawing and part of one of the first webcomic pages!

I've made a lot of Young Ganondorf sketches.
He looks like Link with green skin, leather armour, a curved sword, and green skin.
Those are pretty good. I don't like the weird nose though.

I think I prettified ganondorf up enough already.... it's ganondorf.. I'm trying to have my version have a bit of both noses.

I actualy think it would make more sense to go with the OoT nose. The sudden nose change is never relay explained so I look at it like this. The flat nose has at some point been broken some way or another. So in my head, I think as a kid he should have the long pointy nose. But honestly, the way I'm seeing your drawing he looks better with what it has. (It would still be funny to see though)

OoT nose. His nose is like a little stub, IMO.

people's noses never stop growing, you know. maybe it started off normal and got bigger the evil-er he got?

Personally, I like the WW nose better. the OoT nose reminds me of Roger from the Doug cartoon

Personally I prefer the ww nose too, even more how it was done in TP, but this ganondorf is mostly inspired by the OOT one so I'll keep it as it is, heh.

it serves three purposes to the story as well as giving more depth to the zelda universe (in fanfiction way, ofcourse):
- this character serves as an explanation of what stalfos are and where they come from.
- It is supposed to be a symbol of the young Ganon's only fear. (like a nightmare come true)
- This is the obstacle ganon needs to overcome, and explains how the phantom alter-ego of ganondorf came to be.

I'll stop before I'll spoil too much, haha.
EDIT: okay a little more..

The desert is a place of death and suffering yadda, yadda, yadda.. and that's what this guy symbolizes, the gerudo fear him, but to them he's more like a myth.



P.S.:
This is a pen sketch (Ugh, pencil kept breaking) I did while at my little cousins birthday party, she asked me to draw something and I hadn't drawn this guy before so I thought I'd give it a shot. It turned out surprisingly well IMO. Even though he has a crooked jaw and the horns are wrong >__>
