Just a bit of art.

just a few things I've done in the past.

I haven't updated my art on the computer in a while.

Thumbs up I'll give you the thumbs up on your work.

I like the 2nd one. It has feeling about it in a strange and bizarre way.

I'm tempted to delete all your posts in this because of the following:

ARTWORK RULES:
Criticism and Commenting

One MAJOR flaw that plagues many artists pages and public galleries is that there is a genuine lack of proper commenting. What is truly ideal is something similar to what Polykarbon forums has, where each and every member has a solid thing to contribute to any sort of work, as opposed to the generic comments, which are essentially little more than copy/paste commentary, should not be allowed.
Do NOT post comments such as

* "Good/nice job/work"
* "I like/love it"
* "Awesome stuff"
* "Haha/LOL/ROFL/That was funny (*obviously* in reference to humourous things)"
* "-generic statement of anticipation for more work from said artist-"

However, if you do have something worthwhile to say, and to really test the skill of an artist/writer/poet/etc, this is the guidelines on how to do it.
Criticism is to be done in a constructive and sensible manner. For every statement, it is a good idea to provide reasons why. A small paragraph of at least three of four sentances would be nice.

Now that I've done my modly duty on to the art:

The first one you've done is beautiful. I love the shading is brilliant because you've done it in a way that makes it look like a photo done over in pencil. It's just realistic how you've captured the folds on the blindfold, the shadow against the wall and the detail you put into her sleeve and the designs of the wallpaper.

Which makes me wonder, did you use a photo reference?
Also, with the way you've made it smudgey, did you use pencil or charcoal?

For the second photo - was it the photo composition that is yours or did you actually create the sculpture on the wall?

In the forest drawing.. it looks alright but personally isn't too my taste as it looks a tad TOO busy with all the scrawls everywhere. It looks like you a had a good base with the trees and foliage but then rushed by scribbling all over it >_< Sorry if that sounds bad but that's just my opinion.

Thank you Chibi. And to answer your questions.

Yes, I used a photo reference for the first one. I wanted to do it by observation but it would have be extremely flawed because of the blindfold. I used Charcoal on this piece. If I ever get the chance to get the pictures of the other two I'll put them up.. Those two I did w/ observation. It was a triptic of the see.hear and say no evil, as generic as that is.

The second the photo is mine, sorry for not specifiying that. The artist who made it had done a cast on her girl friends body then casted the metal into there. She's a wonderful 3D art teacher at the Center for Arts here.

The third I'd have to agree. Sometimes I like it sometimes I dont. It was my second drawing ever on my Tablet. I was just trying to get use to it and try somethings out.

This is actually about a 4 foot drawing that I did... It's better in person

This is a more recent Tablet drawing of mine.

And just a colour study I did... reflecting colour and multiple colour for depth.

The first one is my favorite, strangely I have that exact same wallpaper pattern! :O I like dark looking pictures like that.

The others are awesome too! The forest one is my least favorite, but it's really well done for a watercolor! Scenery pictures never really capture my attention tho. So it's my flaw not yours!

Hope to see more work by you!
