Anyways since I'm an artist I guess I'll post some samples of my art. My art style is a bit sketchy, but that's fine because I plan on becoming a concept artist someday.

I like them. I agree that in the second sketch, Shiek's legs need to be thinner. However, the upper body looks good.

xD Just because you want to be a conceptual artist doesn't mean you leave your work half done. DO that when you get your job n.n

You should take part in the Art Monthly competition held by our Art Moderator HitokiriChibi. You know what they say, practise makes perfect. :D

I can't say much about your toons since they are toons, but your Sheik, you should try alot more moves (on the same piece of paper?) and body positions. Also practise drawing folds. Ask someone for a silk scarf (if you don't have one yourself!) and draw it. That provides alot of practise. (:

Lolz, okai corny greeting aside - I can't comment on the toon because ... like Samus said it is a toon and they are so open to differences in proportion dependent on your own style ^^;

Sheik - Ah, yes the legs are a tad off. They not only need to be thinner but possibly a bit longer as well, seeing as upper thighs shouldn't be that much bigger than the calves and feet combined. Sheik is a stealthy character and as such doesn't focus on big beefy muscles but slim limbs that are graceful. Adding that extra length and trimming down on the thigh muscles would really get that happening.

Aside from that I don't find your style to be sketchy - they are complete pieces with finished details. It might feel sketchy because its pencil and paper but it looks like you taken time on these pictures and that means it isn't really a sketch.

I wish you all the best in becoming a concept artist ^_^ I share that same dream so perhaps we'll see each other in the industry, eh! X3

Here's one of my favorites. It's of two of my fan characters, Felix and Strife. I have a shaded version, but it won't appear shaded when I scan it so it doesn't really matter.

Also another one of my favorites, this one wasn't scanned however. I just took a picture of it (I didn't have a scanner back then). This is the final boss from a pretty unknown game in America, Boktai 2.
