Excellent!
Were you using a 35mm lens adaptor?
And the camera? HVX200? maybe not?
Was this for a school project?

Tell tell!

Thanks for watching!

Actually, I shot it on a Canon zr45 in 16:9 mode - which makes it anamorphic through the viewfinder, but when played back or imported into a device with that aspect ratio - it fills it and looks as it should.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 to edit it. The shots were slowed down and I added some filters such as the cineon converter, and some dust and grain to give it a film look.

It wasn't for school project, It was a film that I had an idea for a while back and really wanted to make. Once I had the resourses available, the shooting began - and I just finished up with what I think is the final cut. (Though it is actually something like the fourth cut I have titled "final")

Ahh.

It's just that I'm hoping to get a HVX200 in the near future,
So I've been looking at videos of them for a while

Are you hoping to get into the film industry?

I use Adobe After Effects for most of my color correcting, and filters.
I've just about got the hang of Adobe Premier Pro...

I was hoping to get into the film industry, but after six months of film school, I decided that the way the industry worked was not at all what I wanted for the events in my life. Too many egos wanting only to listen to the sound of their own voice and the sounds of those who would praise their work.

Not to mention the fact that it seemed as though people wanted to stick with what had already been done and proven "successful" rather than taking a chance on something new.

Anyhow, that was just my experience with it - doesn't nesessarily mean thats what its like...

Nonetheless, I find film and art projects much more satisfying when you can be totally free with them, and allow yourself to express something from deep within.

So that's how I go about it, free from the industry

How about you? Are you hoping to get into the industry?

What types of films do you make?

Good luck in getting the HVX200!!

By the way, I just checked out your deviant art site. Excellent work! My favorites are "Eye of the Dungeon Master," and "The Golden Realm"
