Iroas' zelda sketches (Fa)

So yeah, I drew this months ago.. The next Zelda is in need of a change, Nintendo should re-imagine Zelda. I was imagining what Zelda Wii should be like. I was a little dissapointed with TP because the races didn't have much depth at all, they were just there.

In the new Zelda I'd like the races to have a lot more depth, Like having their own role in the world. The Zora's for example could be coral divers searching for pearls and other treasure and selling those in hyrule market.


This is kind of a blend between TP's Zora's, OOT's Zora's and my own ideas. Like the markings you can see on his chest and shoulders, I got that idea from TP's fish that have similar markings ^^

He carries little bags on his hip, that's where he will keep the treasure he finds on the bottem of the great ocean/lake hylia.


My own idea for Link, he's like the old Link we know from OOT and TP but wilder and younger. I imagine him to be a wild boy from the forest, I gave him a messy hairdo on purpose.

That or an orphan living in an orphanage.. to start the story in a different kind of setting. I gave him a new hat too, it's still similar too his old one in a way.

I need to redraw his face sometime, don't really like it yet.


And this is the beanseller from OOT! You know.. he sat at Zora river eating and selling beans. This is what I imagine him to look like in TP's graphics.

I really like them. The Zora is awsome he kidda reminds me of Miku from MM and Link looks really cool love the messy hair. But the Bean seller even though it a really good drawing, looks pretty scary like he might eat me or some thing, oh wait it's the Bean seller he probable would eat me lol. Yet another talented person on ZU well done. .

Anyway, I'm so glad you decided to show some of your stuff once again! Your artwork is really some of my favorite I've seen on any website period. I mean it's just pencil, but as far as accuracy and design of characters are concerned, their fairly original and specific to your own kinda style. Which is cool. ^^

I love them all, but the one of link is neat. The way you did the lips on the goron is awesome...and how you do his muscles and everything is so neat! You do a good job at distorting anatomy and making it into sequential art that's accurate.

I love link's face and hair, it's cute! haha. Nice job on the designs on the zora too.

You've taken a good idea and just run rampant with it making it better XD

The Zora is fantastic (they have to be my favourite race) His stance is good, and for some reason the ribs/gills on his sides really stand out to me, like you've given a lot of thought into where things go and how they work. Little details that I like since they add to the whole character - also like the ties at the end of his head things either side of his face XD

Link - he does indeed look like a wild child and.. can I steal his nose? I can't draw noses... so I could just take his... <_< >_>

Goron - Hehe, he looks like a benevolent goblin - I say that mainly because of the shape of the head which isn't as smooth rounded as goron's usually appear to be. Very nicely done, and I don't know if it's just me but looking at his tummy I can tell it'll be rock hard and not some soft paunch. You convey things like that without even needing to shade and colour things in ^_^

The musculature on all your characters was top notch as well as the lines with which you captured them all. Can't wait to see more!

These drawings are really good, also I think Iroas said the third one was OoT's bean seller, I would also have thought he was a goron or moblin since he looks like he'd beat you or something if you made him mad.

The last sketch isn't of a goron but the beanseller.. I admit I made him look a bit like a goron, I did that because the beanseller actually does look kinda like a goron.. And I might've gone overboard with his arms <<

This was a collab of me and The mighty Iroas!
Well, considering I asked him really.

Some of this wasn't too Iroas's desire.
For starters, the side clothing is actually meant to be
fins, and the color was intentionally meant to be different.

But either ways, there may be some more colored Iroas work
And there might not be...

Well as long as you credit him, Super Fergus, I don't think Iroas would mind, anyway, I really like it.
