So I was thinking on starting a webcomic...

But before I even remotely do that I need some critique on the drawings I did for it. These are the first "samples" and the looks and names of the characters may and probably will be changed. The title of the comic would probably be "Yet Another Web Comic". As seen in the picture I tried to design a logo for it too... Still just experimenting though. And on a side note... The mushroom and star on the girls pants were something I was trying out... I erased it but it seems I didn't do it good enough. -.-

Any suggestions for character personalities etc. would be very helpful.

Actually I'm thinking of redoing everything from the ground up. Because there are so many comics out there that feature 2 guys and 1 girl... And it's getting lame... It's hard to be original though... Oh well something will come up eventually.

How about 2 girls and a gay guy? With a realy annoying...room mate and a talking (sarcastic) pet rabbit?...okay i give up

Hehe thanks for trying to help. ^^ I got SOME things planned by now... The O RLY owl is supposed to be the pet. But what I need first and foremost is a character design that suits me... And that's a bit hard to get. ^^

Meh, those sketchs arent that bad. the main character needs to be easy to draw. I started my own comic once and i gave the main character really detailed hair, it was a pain to draw, so i made his hair alot more simplistic. I think you should keep that rabbit! hes awesome! i have a similar character. I think every good comic needs these 4 characters. The cool and interesting main character. A sidekick/friend who is either a total spazz, a loser, or a weakling that grows as the story progresses. A laidback and sarcastic type of character thats good for laffs. AND! lastly, there needs to be at least one girl character, who can either be a total tomboy or a total girly girl. most comics/manga ive read have these kind of characters, my comic has these characters too. If i ever get my scanner fixed ill post it up. Good luck on your comic! I look forword to seeing more of your work.

But right now I had this weirdest idea of them all... And I think it might actually work out... I'll make the main characters rabbits! Something like VGcats, but not too similar, just the way they utilize animals as main characters... Gonna have the picture up in 10 minutes.

Not really sure if this with the rabbits will work out... I'll wait for a few opinions but I think it has potential. As for the personality... Let's see, the main character (Which *should* the rabbit on the sketch)

- Blizzard fanboy.
- The idiot of the crew. Intelligent like a macaroni.
- Also the mischief maker. Combined with his IQ this property has disastrous effects.
- Gets pissed of easily. Especially when Blizzard and Blizzard related games are in question.

This should be enough for now...

Oh and regarding the name... It's really the first name that came into my mind... If there is a video game character called Spazz... It's a coincidence.
