Cio's Art Stuffs

Well, I decided to make a new thread. The old one has long since lost its usefullness.

Since the last one, I haven't drawn much. but, meh.

This first one is a collab with my friend Cynthia. I drew the one on the left with the purple hair. I did the coloring. I did the outlining and modified hers a bit too. So, it hasn't been much of a collab as of yet. But, she said she would do the background. I hope at least...



And, this next one is a mermaid. Not much more to say. I was going to put a background, but I'm still not sure how I want to depict it.



That's it for now. Mehish at best, but whatever. I haven't been feeling well, per say.

This is my next BA character that only on person knows about. She's going to be awesome. I can't wait until I finish her up. Even if I keep getting lower grades in classes. x3



And these are her weapons. I added the length because I was thinking to myself... "hmm... Cio, you should figure out how long they are." And, so I did.

I plan to color them both on GIMP. lawl. XD

Your shading has a nice gradient in it which I think is lovely - and your choice of colours are also very nice ^^

A suggestion for the purple ones hair: Hair isn't a single mass like that so you could devide it into various locks, each one moving differently according to her movement.

The mermaids shoulders seem very straight and 'hard' looking. Females tend to have shoulders that have a more gentle slope as opposed to makes who have straighter ones.

The same could be said for your new character - they are very broad and her left (our right) seems to be marginally larger than the other shoulder. It should probably end where it is beginning.

Umm.. That's the problems I can see but you do have lovely art Cio ^_^

Anyway, I'm working on the shoulders, but it ish so hard. How do you make the gentle slope? x-x

Ahh... I dont have my tablet so this might come out rougher than I thought... I just fixed up their shoulders XD I've seen them doing that in the other thread... >_>;; Hope it helps? ^-^; (is not used to this commenting and correcting)

Oh, right. The colored pics. I never did color them with GIMP... I may later to see if it comes out any better. Or I may just draw her all over again. X3

Your artwork is truly amazing, Cio. I love it. On your latest picture, I love her hand (speaking from experience, hands are HARD to draw), and her shirt. It looks very natural. :3
