Eep, this is a lovey dovey sketch of my character Cadenza Madrigal and her late husband Paris Valentia. Don't ask what's with the army-sanctioned headdress...it's, ah, to protect him from all the desert sand and harsh winds. (Or, I just thought it looked nifty and it was fun to draw...)

If you notice any similarities between his face and my character Hunter's face, don't worry--that was intentional. Go have a peek at my semi-old fic "A Kindred Spirit" if you're still confused as to why.

You seize to amaze me. Might I say you have a HUGE talent. Props go to you.

Louis looks like he could be from Texas...that's a high compliment!

Hehe, oh goodness, I know the bow's way off. But really, I appreciate the feedback and tips, and I'll be sure to keep them in mind the next time I endeavor to draw an archer. I just hastily threw in a shoddy bow for this piece because my main focus was her face, cloak, and new hairstyle. I only drew a quick, few-second thing from memory of our cheap bows years ago in middle school gym class. ^^;;

And you were allowed bows in school? If that happened here, there would be a scene of mass carnage.

I love Louis' brusque-ness there, the jagged lines and impure colors... it makes for a powerful effect.

And I didn't think Cadenza went in for that kind of thing. Of course, we meet her after that incident... maybe his death hardened her?

There were many many safety rules, but ultimately yes, they were allowed in gym class with loads of adult supervision.

Yessir, it did, as can be seen partly in my old fic "Bittersweet". In fact, he was nearly the only person she was that soft and affectionate towards ever, because of her family's rough life and history and especially due to her sister Vivace's treatment of her.

Very cute :3. I spot an abnormality with the angle of her left forepaw but, otherwise, very nicely done. The eyes are very awesome -- like you only see with a cat you're friendly with.

Very nice Kitty-cat. It actually looks a bit like our cat, Sonic. This makes me imagine what that character drawing will look like.
