Anyway, I drew up some suggestions in a similar fashion I did for Chari and SG
Your Chibi's - though you have managed to come up with a unique Pani style- are a bit on the clunky side.
You'll find that most, if not all, cute and chibi drawings have a "roundness" to them - check out Disney's character arts for characters like Mickey Mouse, for example - to maximise it's appeal.
Also, it is so much easier to draw characters repeatedly in countless number of poses when you adopt the rounded style- and the whole chracter will "flow"

It's Epona and Sunfire as they are in my fanfic. Sunfire is Kelli's horse. And we all know who Epona belongs to, lol. Both of them don't appear much in The Hidden Powers (my current fic), but they play a more important and larger role in the sequel, which will be Forgotten Tales.

Oh yes, and I know Sunfire's mane looks a bit flat on top, but I fixed that problem and I'll scan the modified picture after I color it.

Then why post again when you already have critics. Kynnella, this thread is for pictures that have NOT been posted else where. Your pictures are really nice, but we have already seen these ones.

I was worried that when this thread was up and running that people would post, their pictures once in their own thread, and once here. That is just, ugh, silly.

I could understand if this is your first time in the art section (this isn't aimed at your personally Kynnella, but anyone who is reading this ^_^) or your thread doesn't get many views (like mine ¬_¬), but if your thread DOES get views, and DOES get critic, I don't see the need to come here and post again. Let other people have a chance to show off ^_^

That is very nice Kanna Michi, but I feel overall she is about to fall Maybe next time, try imagine yourself as her and see if you withstand that position. I imagine that all the time, it's a great help!

And Pani, Asia got it spot on. I just want to add my two cent. Try being slightly more semetrical (sp?) and it will help with getting the shapes and poses more arcurate. Good luck!

GD: No, this thread is for people to post their best pictures. That's what the first post said. Right now, the drawing of Kelli that I posted and the horses are my best. I won't be posting what else I have.

Whao, we can't have that. Everyone must follow the rules. Even if one doesn't, doesn't mean you continue the trend.

You must post a critic about her picture. Two wrongs do not make a right.

It's...alright, Kanna, but you could use some improvement on human anatomy. Your proportions are pretty good, though. I gave some tips to Pani, maybe you might want to look at them too?

No. Kanna's post dOES count.

Also, it seems that the purpose of the thread has changed organically.
It's no longer (and maybe it's more beneficial this way) just a show-off thing but a feedback and Crit thread. Therefore, post your best NEW pictures in this thread for which you want feedback. I'll edit the rules accordingly.

Wow, I love how you did her hair. But I can't really criticize your art. How can I tell you the mistakes I see on your drawings, if I can't see any on mine? It just wouldn't be right. I know very little about art, so, I can't say any thing that's criticizing your art.

Some rundown town, at night, with the last drops of rain still falling. Yeah, it's cliché, but it could work.

She'd be standing at the entrance of an alleyway. You'd have a dumpster somewhere in the background, and maybe (to expand on Kanna's idea), the lights of a police car reflecting against the still wet brick walls.

I'm just no good with backgrounds. Horrible acutally.
