Am I worthy?

I just got GIMP a couple of hours a go and started playing around with it. I still am grey in about 99% of the area lol but this is what I came up with. I added all texture/lighting/font and so on to them. Anyways, to my question. Do you think I am worthy of being a Sig creator and opening up my own shop?

I think that the one with Skull Kid is pretty cool. I don't think there is any harm in opening up a sig shop because then you will know if you are worthy, depending on how many people request from you.

Well, I'm no expert when it comes to sigs x3, but I think those are pretty cool *nods*, and I think you should go for it, open up a sig shop and give it a go .

I like them... even if they do shatter my standard sig-making rule of "NO LENS FLARE!!"

You are definitely worthy of making your own shop. Your Skull Kid one would go out in a heartbeat, if it were the right size.

Just remember the max is 400 by 150. Those would be deleted by whoever had it in their signature. Just try not to make some cheesy thread title with crazy symbols in each of the letters. It gets kinda annoying for some people to look at.

GIMP's a good program.

Why shouldn't there be any flares?

Any ways, thanks for all the support. When I get the hang of it a little more I will open a shop.

Hmm, they're ok for beginners. Keep at it and you should do fine. But I HATE GIMP! Photoshop ftw. And lens flares are just too bright and sloppy, but my sig was made with them and I bet no one knows how!

Give up now to avoid embarrassment, or practice for another few months. GIMP is a good program and you've done decently considering you've only had it for a little while, but... you're going to need more experience for people to want your signatures.

Oh, who am I kidding. Zelda Universe has a ridiculously stupid population who wouldn't know good use of a graphics editor if it hit them in the face like projective vomit. Go for it.

You definetly speak the truth Sear.

Anyway I'm not going to lie, those aren't much to be excited about but like Sear said with some time and practice you can make some huge leaps. Trust me my current sig is a long way from my first one. You just need to experiment and practice, then try a sig shop out. Besides having a shop isn't all that great, trust me I had my share in the past and sometimes it's overwhelming.

You are very good. if you open a shop ill make a request .

I would say make them a bit smaller and keep working, I use gimp and i find new things almost everytime I use it, just keep messing around, and get familiar with it. those are a good start.

Don't listen to all the negative comments.Sure photoshop is great, but it costs money and stuff like that. I think you have potential, and It would be a great idea for you to open a shop up. Sea is being a royal pain in the A**, so don't listen to him. Keep on making graphics, and in no time you'll be one of the best on ZU!

I tend to agree.

If you open a sig shop, at the very least, do yourself the favor of never touching GIMP again. Just pirate Photoshop and get an infinately more advanced program for free. Those people who argue that GIMP is good because it "is as good or better than Photoshop" have never touched the program. They are the fail in your life that will drag you down further than you are now.
