Drawing is my destiny

Wow. That's a really nice drawing. Actually, I don't see very much deformities in this one. Good Job.

All I can say now is to look at other artists' art. Not only Manga/anime, others as well...like Superhero comics, graphic art, random comics or just whatever you like; broaden your horizon (I guess is a nice way of putting it >.<). That way you can develop an even more unique and distinguishable style. Right now, your style seems to be entirely based on anime...some of your Zelda fanarts look very similiar to the style of the Zelda Manga (like the Link one on the previous page ^^).

Hey um...If you don't mind I could colour some things in for you, (I recently learnt a style that would go really well with you drawings, but I can't draw myself...so If you have any ones that are not coloured in, I will be more than happy... *goes back to state of bordom*

that last image was very pretty and you've really started to work on the roundedness of characters which gives them a bit more depth than the 2D'ness they used to occupy a while ago.

Will you take some of my pointers? :3

First of all - start drawing real people! and concentrate on different limbs like the arms for example. The thing about anime/manga art is that often, people find themselves drawing from memory- from what they remember and think a manga/anime arm or body part would look like.

Also, loosen up those lines! =)
I see that you know how to tidy up images and make them look immaculately clean and organised, so you can rest easy that you already have that skill ^__^ however, do you have the loose planning skill?
Talking of which, how do you start your drawings? do you progress through the image neatly or do you plan it befpore in advance and keep adding in details bit by bit as you go along?
I used to do the former, and that was why I had trouble creating images that *moved* and were full of energy. When you plan loosely and allow yourself that freedom, you begin to have to consider and learn more about the body. Which is always a good thing

Anyway, I wish you all the best with your art - and yeah, get back to producing your own art (some non zelda artwork as well =) ) instead of tying yourself down completely to requests. There's no time to be wasted if you still want to conquer places, lass! =D

Hm, I don't know if someone remembers my TP-styled character. I first show it in black-white, but now I coloured it and make my other original character in the same style:

Roan in TP-style

...and now Esila too.

They are in the same style than Zelda and Link. I thought 4 are better than 2. I like there clothes, what about ya?^^

Wow, you're definetly a master of design, your attention to details is absolutely amazing and inspiring! The way you draw hair is really nice too. On your last two pics I can clearly see the TP official art, like the face of Roan, the swords and basicly esila's whole dress

Aside of your designing skills you need to work more on the basic shapes of the body, this was probably mentioned earlier though.. And I wonder how well you do on drawing facial expressions, different kinda poses like action poses and different angles, I don't think I've seen alot of those yet.. But I haven't seen the whole thread either so.. maybe I'll find something :3

Sweet! And when I say, "sweet", I mean "perfect", and when I mean "perfect", I mean "World domination". Wait, it's the other way around.
In short: You should REALLY be an artist for Nintendo. You'd get all the awards!

Oooohhh... Cal likies muy mucho! I think his cape may be a little too vibrant (a maroonish red would suit him better), but I like it very much.

I have a suggestion on sword handling:
I think you need to learn how to slant swords. As far as I see, you always have the swords completely flat, and it looks odd in a couple of pictures, the above being one of them. He's entirely slanted, but his sword is straight, and it makes it look less... less... real. If he were holding the sword at that angle, in that position, it would either be going through his leg, or in front of him. It looks like the sword was put in his hand as an afterthought, and it doesn't look imposing. His pose is not a sword holding pose, and if it were, the sword would need to be slanted- just like he is.

Other than that, the picture is beautifully done, and I love the way you colored the gold armor! But the sword looks completely out of place.
