Dark Drawing (NEW PICS)

Lol I was bored. Tell me what you think. It's sorta a 'break' from my usual cartoony style.

Re: Dark Drawing

I like the foggy effect, but I personally think you made the moon too bright for such a "dark" theme. You can make it glow, but still have the surrouding areas be duller...meh I don't know what I'm saying.

Re: Dark Drawing

Gah! Get username aWAY from a computer =P

The simplicity is really good username and I love the hues you've chosen.
However, I believe that the word "death" is taking away something. You see, it's just stating the obvious. Leave some conclusions to be drawn by the viewer =)

Also, (I'm assuming you're up for critique onthis one) ( even if you're not, I'm plonking it on you, so there =D ) you have 3 different plains of varying depth from us. The code to making them work is the lighter and darker hues. You managed that ok between the farthest away hill and the one closer, but neglected that for the one nearest to us- it should be a lot darker than the middle hill since it's closer. In fact, try this and see user : have the nearest hilly-thing to us clothed in black like the tree and see what happens.
If anything, it should really take the image up a notch in that it'll provide more contrast to the rest of it.

And keep posting new artwork, dammit =P

Re: Dark Drawing

I LOVE THE SUNSET PICCIE! xD

You're REALLy starting to go places with your colours username *messes up username's hair* =B
The first, composition wise, doesn't quite work. I mean .. it looks like some kind of flooded .. what's the word? ..>.> ( I can only think of it in arabic! >___<)
Gah, well I meant.. apart from the blue to the foreground (it just looks as though water shouldn't be there. That might just be me, so feel free to ignore me on this). Your sky however, is beautifully done, and the bases of the hills - the green and yellow are beautifully blended.

You might say : But Asia, the bottom image has the same composition as the first so why you be hatin' the first?. I would give you a toffee and say that the sun glare stops the 2 hills meeting creating a more believable and balanced image, young username ^__^

Keep vorking and shoving the vork
