New sketches, yarr

Mm'yes. New sketchies. :3

A warrior from Guild Wars. <_< I don't really like the top hairline, but I'm too lazy to fix it.

Unfinished sketch of a ranger from Guild Wars. Aside from the fact her chest is flat as hell(and I can't fix it) and the bow looks like it's coming out of her leg, I really like this one. Never did finish it. >_>

As you can see, my obsession with Guild Wars is quite obvious. So yeah, comment n' stuff.

Re: New sketches, yarr

The first one - very nice, no crits there. I love the details in the armory stuff.

The second - Also coming along very well. A couple of points: I think the chest area looks fine, but the hips could probably stand to be a little wider to be in proportion. Also, I think the reason the bow looks odd is because it looks as though her hand goes behind her leg because it ends where the leg starts, but then the bow is in front of the leg. I think you just need to make her hand move in front of her leg a little.

Very nice work.

Thanks for the comments. :] I have to agree with you on the second one, the hips could be a little wider, and I think the exact same about the bow and leg.

I'm probably gonna post some more sketches later, so, umm, yeah. That's all I have to say.

Very good quality sketchs. I'd like to see some complete stuff in your next posts.

I like how you pay attention to linear detail. Your proportioning looks alright... Uhm, the second one, the problem with the bow is her hand. Half of it is in the forefront, but the thumb part is behind her thigh. Her bow just magically juts out of her leg... or something. The hand also needs to be drawn like she's actually clutching the bow.

Have you ever taken life drawing classes or tried to draw from life? Those could help alot with placement of body parts in relation to objects and whatnot. Just try drawing your own hand holding a ball or whatever, so you can get an idea of depth on a flat surface.

Edit: Mmyeah, I neglected to read posts before posting, my crit was already stated. Sorry.

A Guild Wars drawing with little boobies? Oh, come now. You know good and well all the female player characters have Massive Blossoming Bazoinkas.

I think the problem on the bow is that the hand doesn't overlap the leg. It should, a bit.

Re: New sketches, yarr

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. :] I've got no new drawings to show for the time being, though. Just been doing a few rough sketches to see if I could still draw bodies right.

I've never taken any art classes, so we'll go with the latter.

To Cocotroid: Nice art, do you have a comic on the net?

Thanks for the comment. To answer your question, no, I don't have a webcomic. I don't think I'll ever do one, either, mainly because I think I don't draw good enough to do a webcomic.

*Bump.* :E

Yeah. I'm probably going to add a face, but don't expect me to add hands and legs.

Very, very nice work. These are great!

Could someone tell me why everyone is better than me? Well, beside the fact that I'm only 12...

Re: New sketches, yarr

Wow, really nice work there! The lines are really clean, and detailed as well. ^.^ You also seem to have the anatomy of the head down pretty well, you give plenty of room for a forehead. In anime, it's hard not to just make them flatheaded. Nice job on the hair and face on the last one.

But yeah, great work! Everyone has pretty much told you all the tips I would of said. But it would be good for you to draw those people in different poses and such, so they don't look like stiff dolls.

Thanks for the comment. To answer your question, you just need to practice more. I'm only 13.

Thanks. :] I'm still working on dynamic posing, so that's why all the characters I draw are in just basic idle poses.

Edit: Done!
