Re: References & Tutorials v2

Thanks a bunch Chuc

You can add these to the Tutorials if you like, I haven't really read through them though so I'm not too sure of their credability.

....left out?....

...It actually suprised me how many sites you found of certain specific things....but it surprised me not to find the websites that i go to:
http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/tutorial/tutorial.html
which haves tutorials on how to draw anime hair, clothings & folds, general anime faces, female figure drawing, specific characters(like FF VII's Cloud),and how to use Paint Shop Pro 6.0 & Photoshop 5.0
another one is:
http://www.polykarbon.com
there are art galleries which you can use as reference and a tutorial as well

.....and i have a question...do you know any webpage that has a tutorial in how to draw robots?....It's because i'm going to start my new Manga....and it takes time in the future...so i need to know how to draw them.....well...hope you can help me(anybody!!)...and hope that somebody uses those sites that i just gave!

EDIT: whooops!!...I didn't knew that there was the HTDM site up there either already! SORRY!!!

Heh, I think that we've got both of those up there, actually. Good of you to point those out, though.

However, double-posting is against the rules...that's what the Edit button is for.

Re: References & Tutorials v2

Experiment -01, it's stated in the rules that you can't double post. I suggest that you should delete that last post and then click on 'edit' in the bottom right corner of your other post to say what you need to say.

...and don't worry about the Fireworks tutorials anymore. I bought a book which should last me for a few months.

EDIT: See my use of the edit button? I'm editing say... Damn you omni-present moderator!!!!!!!.

*cough*

umm good job, Sear.

what do you mean? ripping a sprite isn't the same thing as making a sprite. Anybody with some patience and MS paint can sprite. Take a look at some tutorials to get you started on the fundamentals of spriting.

Oh, and if you need videogame sprites for a sprite comic, I would suggest looking Here

Re: References & Tutorials v2

EDIT-

Actually, I deleted your post. I feel stupid for not realizing right away by looking at the title that it was a suspicious topic, but then reading over the whole 'tutorial' makes it obvious that you were just trying for a free low-blow at Radek

I'm contemplating on warning you for this

EDIT 2-

Yeah, you're warned

Hi all

Just did a link check for the Swords n Stuff site and saw your link to us. I find it interesting that our site is being used for drawing references. No, I'm not asking for it to be removed. I'm glad that you can find an alternate use for the images on our site. I just want to warn you that if any of you sell or post scans of your artwork with swords pictured on our site, be careful. Some of the supplying companies do not take kindly to representations of their products. We had to get permission just to use the pictures ourselves.

I'm glad I found this thread, as I'd like to learn to draw. I've never been very good at it, but I try anyway. Watching anime all the time, it's difficult to *not* want to draw.

*btw, I did not draw that avatar*
