Should I?

Im thinking of starting a sig shop but im not sure untill i get some peoples opinions.

Like I said in Din HQ, your skills are that good that there is no reason for you not to!

Practise a bit more with your text and make sure your sigs have a border, and your good to go.
You'll also want to start thinking about making your own unique style.

An image and big text next to it saying the User's Username has been used by so many other people. Try to put a touch off originality into your sig.

To do a border, simply hold down CTRL then press A when you have a finished siggy. Make sure your layers hae been merged into one (go to layers - merge visible or merge all). Then go to edit > stroke. Click inside and choose a colour for your border. Then select OK.
(White or grey borders won't show up on the default forum skin - black is best.)

NOTE: This is istructions for Photoshop, I don't know if you're using another program from Photoshop.

Your pretty good at this. But you need to work on your backgrounds, some of them are fairly simple. I think you ahould most definetly open a sig shop.

I know how to make a border they i just forget some times.
One question. How do you get the name in the bottom right corner?

Click the Arrow symbol on the toolbar and simply drag the name to the bottom right cornor.

Try to remember to do borders though because I think it makes sigs look so much better. I'm sure a lot of other people will agree.

Yeah, I guess you're pretty good with making sigs right now, but you could be even better after loads of practice with sig/av/graphic making.

So, go on and start a shop if you feel like taking on peoples' requests.

i highly agree on having your own style. I'm not that common known yet in the sig making world, but I do have my own style. Do make borders, really. also, you dont really have to have the biggest size possible, 400x150 or sometimes can come over big and sloppy. I personally dont go over 400x120.

so: start your own sig shop, but do create your style and use borders.

Okay... I was assuming the name was already typed up. You click on the 'A' symbol on the tool bar - then click on the bottom left of the sig. (Or wherever you want to put it.)

Good, but it has been said, they are fairly simple backgrounds. You can try making some of your own, or looking for stock.

When you have the text tool selected, at the top of the screen there are some options:



Select the one in red, and make sure its not on 'None'. Your texts are ending up pixely.

And I don't recommend the dissolve effect.

I totally agree with pretty much everyone here, start a sig shop! Trust me, it'll be sucessful.
