[DUMP] High quality art (Peefy)

So I just got the hold of a scanner (or that is, my brother had one that he just fixed), so I thought I would share some of my Leonardo Da Vinci-like artwork.
I spent from 10 - 12 hours on each of them, and all of them are drawed on selfmade paper that I spent some weeks on creating. I studied human propotions for a while to get all the muscles etc. right, so that took a while too.

Overall I spent nearly a month on each of these.


On this canvas there was originally a drawing of something else, but then I started scribling up and down, and in the end I ended up with this. I call it "Boryd, the search for truth"


The next two ones are "Inspiration from the falling of heaven 1/2"


This one is the infamous "Struck on a island lost with hope of love"


I made this while brainstorming philosophy, it's called "The planet of emotion is hard to live in"


This heartbreaker is called "Rainbringer had it coming"


And last, but far from least; "Exploring the valley of darkness in the top of the power."



Note that I spent almost a year on creating all of these, where I worked on them each day, and didn't stop before I reached perfection. If you find any flaws in them, the flaws are with you and not me nor my art.

Any negative posts will be ignored. Positive ones will be noticed.

Indeed peefy has mastered the mascular proportions to an unbelievable level. Just look at the awesome amount of detail and work spent in eacht and every one of those art works. I bow to your greatness.

Mehehe. I had expected to find an art thread when looking through your past posts.

My favorite is the "Stuck on a island lost with hope of love" one. The fish on a stick is hilarious, and the snail is...well, peefy.

In the one after that, the guy looks likes a zombie. That's so cool! I love the way the moon is shaped in the drawing.

The "Oh Snap" one is so cruel; I love it!

In the last one, is he superman? Hehe.

I think they're ok, but tone down on the ego a bit. Everyone has flaws, and your pics are no exception.

I realize that spending an enormous amount of time on them makes you think they're perfect, but they aren't. I feel the same, and my pics are VERY far from perfect.

What really matters is that you think they're perfect, and if you think so, that's fine. Besides, it's your pics, and they came out how you wanted them to!

I just suggest you take other's criticism to help you improve. Listening to what others see wrong in them will make you work on those areas, and make you a better artist.

Your work is okay.. but theres no detail and, honestly, it looks like a five year old's drawing.

I've got the agree with the others though, Those drawings would of taken an awful long time to draw... and alot of creativity showing

The emotional depth conveyed within these deceptively detailed masterpieces is astounding. "Inspiration from the falling of heaven 1/2" 's use of demented chickens and a sole spattering of blue moved me to tears.

On a related note, how'd you get those drawings to be so clear? I can't see the paper grain, or anything.

How you can stand to draw so many little lines and tiny circles without breaking into a headache, I don't know .
But have you noticed? your character(s?) kinda resemble you in appearance ^__^ thus my theory still holds true

With all honesty though, I think, and especially with regrds to the: "Inspiration from the falling of heaven 1/2" piece , you are an extremely creative person. The doodles and how different they are.. I can leanr from you *smiles*
