Windlord's art

Most of my stuff is already posted, but in separate threads. So I put them all into one. plus some new ones. If you want Information on any of the characters just ask me to post it. They are in order of old to new.

Where is the art? I must be missing someting. (I'm a n00b afterall)

Not to be mean or anyting, but the second last one looks alot like bs_88's conceptart...

Thats because I drew it for him and he used some of my Idea's, and its "SS-88" not "bs-88"That just does'nt sound right. If you looked at his most recent post you would have known that.

Though many of your people seem to be suffering from midget syndrome, you have very nice art.

Holy heck that is some amazing artwork. I love the way you colour!!! It's amazing! And I love all the detail you put into the armor of your characters- esp the last pic ^^. How long does it take for you to colour a picture in? Everything is so wonderfully detailed, I was just wondering!

Thanks for the comments, and I know alot of the first ones have big heads, and unproportional bodies but I have been trying to correct that as you might have noticed the last two aren't quite as bad.

wonderful work, as always, windlord. i like very much the b/w drawing of the windlord. what has impressed me is the face: the expression is lovely.

That's unbelievable. They're great! I've never seen someone draw with so much skill. Three of them look the same though. Are they supposed to be the same? I'm reffering to the two in green armor along with the uncolored one. It just so happens that the two green ones are my favorites (I love green).

Keep drawing more, it's great. I didn't notice any flaws and I'm a real perfectionist. If I don't complain about an unproportional fingernail, or a strand of hair that sticks out further than others, you know your work is good.

Wow, you have got some very very very solid art skills ... my coloring skills are terrible, and I am not the liine art type of person. I do mine more sketchy...but you do a wonderful job at your style. yes indeed.

Is there a special way that you get the colors so vibrant? IM assuming that you use colored pencils, but are there special ones that u use? Using my kindergarden craolas are getting a bit annoying ... but I really like it.

Yeah I tried crayola's and they seemed a bit weak. I use Prismacolors they run anywhere from 70 cents to a dollar per pencil, But the amazing color is worth it, plus they blend well.

Oooh, I use Prismacolor, but I only have a large set of Verithins, which is unfortunate, seeing as it takes a lot of patience to get them to blend well, but they're good for details since they're... very thin (a good word choice here would be duh) and hard. I lost my ginormous set of regular Prismacolors a long while ago. Unfortunate.

Great art by the way, you have a very unique style and your armor work is amazing, my God. Great talent. Some of your pencil shading is too rough or muddy though, but you're so excellent.

I usually blend the colors with a blending stump, but I forgot to on some of them. Also some colors don't blend as easily as others

i use swiss aquarelle colors. caran d'ache, to be precise. i don't know if they sell them in other countries... but i think they're the best. the colouring is smooth and full, without asperities.
by the way, what do you use to do the edges?
