Re: (fan) Me art!

Wow, really nice and colorful, I enjoy looking at your artwork. And for somereason, I really liked how you colored Zelda's hair-it almost had a peachy look to it.

And I must ask, what did you do to aquire those white blotches on the first one callled "Kokiri"? I really like that one.

Re: (fan) Me art!

Thanks everyone! To get the white splotches on the Kokiri one, I took white acryllic pait, watered it down a bit, dipped a paint brush in it, then flung it at the paper! I had to cover their faces to avoid any random splotches landing in an unforunate place...(an eye, a nostril, etc.)

Re: (fan) Me art!

Excellent work. IMO you have a few problems with proportion and alignment. You obviously have a natural talent, but yours skills need to be honed and perfected. Polykarbon have good tutorials. Also, if you have the money, Investing in a Wacom Drawing Tablet, and a copy of Adobe Photoshop would greatly benefit you. Keep it up.

Re: (fan) Me art!

Thanks everyone! I was infact looking at tablets, but they are out of my price range
-_-; Yeah, I notice a lot of proportional problems on my pics (especially with hands and faces). I hope to improve more with time^_^ I started drawing with my first Zelda drawing, about three months ago. The only other drawings I did before that were doodles on my math homework Oh, and I tried looking at tutorials, but I feel as if they take away from the learning experience. (Yes, I'm weird) I like to figure out things on my own, and that's probably why I have a lot of problems

Also, please check out my HP gallery and tell me how I can improve.

Hey maybe your right, Tutorials are not always good. I merely suggested them as a guide for proportional problems. But if you are trying to create your own drawing style, I guess it is better if you dont use tutorials. Also, For Tablets, try looking for second hand ones on ebay, I've seen one for £30 which isn't too bad IMO.

Oh, I wasn't trying to say that your suggestion was bad! For tablets, the best price I ever saw was $100 for a tiny one. I usually don't go to ebay, because I have had some problems with that site.

Your art is absolutely fantastic. I have always wanted to draw a picture with combinations of other pictures, like in paper Mario. And your colouring is brilliant!

Re: (fan) Me art!

Hello there. I happen to be a fan and an adorer of your artwork. May I first complement you on your talent with colours. It takes a well spacially-aware person to manage colour the way you do. You also have a knack of keeping the whole image beautifully balanced and .. neat x3
I would love to see some original works from you.
Keep up the fantastic work!

Re: (fan) Me art!

Updated! Thankies Anime Queen and Lil' Link Fishy! I am a bit obsessed with color XD. I actually have TONS of original work. I have about three notebooks filled with original characters and even some manga I created. I just never had any reason to scan it XD

Yet another update :O
