Hello everyone! I'd like to show you my cosplay of a NPC Zora and hear your critique, so that I can maybe fix some of it now, or if I ever decide to redo it. This was the first cosplay I made completely by myself. The only thing I didn't make by hand was the zentai suit, but I did modify it a lot to what you shall see in the pictures.
Everything on the costume was first spray painted lightly with a pale blue fabric spray paint (even the mask), to give it a slight blue undertone. The fins are made of white Muslim fabric and are stuffed with quilting batting, except for the arm fins. The arm fins themselves have a very stiff (but still flexible) type of interfacing in them, they are also velcro'd onto the costume instead of sewn.
The webbed feet were made by taking lyrical dance shoes (called CatPaws) and gluing/sewing carved hot glue sticks to them. The chest was carved from a soft foam then sewed in once it was covered in panty hose.
Everything was also painted by me with Tulip Velveteen Fabric Paint. The mask itself was made out of Paris of Plaster Bandages, with sunglass lenses inserted halfway through making it, and a type of sculpting Paris of Plaster.
So, here some photos*, hope you like them; feel free to comment:
