Carnival of Time on MS Paint

I didn't really know where to put this since I'm new to the Artwork Forum. But I first drew this by hand, then coloured and modified it on MS Paint...is that really Graphics Design?

Anyway, I did it for a Fanfiction, but since it's something about Majora's Mask, I thought I'd show it off. So what do you think? (All criticism welcome)

Re: Carnival of Time on MS Paint

This must have taken a while to be drawn from scratch! No immediate critique I can think of except for: Expand the scenery!

Or if you want, try taking features from the Carneval of Time, and make your own festival thing.

If I must nitpick though, I have to say that the top of the clock tower touching the top of the imagery (the blue part) by just the edge bothers me a tiny bit.

And one star on the righthand side is distracting with how long it is and incredibly close to touching the top of the wall.

Those are just things that bothered me from the second and third views.

Thank you very much! I can see what you mean, maybe the sky could be a little higher, and the star is pretty close...

No, not at all! This is very much art, not graphic design.

It's a very lovely picture! I like the colours, and the linework is very clean.
Jay T has already covered all that I can say, except one thing.

You've saved the image as a .bmp or a .jpg, which are the worst possible file-types you could ever use for anything that is not a photo.

.Bmps are hated by the internet, and are converted to .jpgs. And .jpg file has very lossy quality and will ruin the colours and cleanless of the image!

Instead, you want to save it as a .png, which is very easy to do.
When you're saving, click on the dropdown under the filename and choose PNG.

I am aware how to save something as a PNG, but a JPG takes up less space on my computer. (and also prevents anyone from plagiarising it, since BMPs are hated by everyone)
