So. How many of you young or old(er?) recall being over joyed and over-wowed with The Legend of Zelda series when it took its first step into the world of 3D gaming?
I was freakin' ecstatic! I admit, I never got a chance to play it fully until I was about 17- always having to watch others, or play it on a neighbors system and what not.
How many of you ever recall taking that first grave-dive in the KaKariko cemetery and, lo-and behold- you stumble upon an eerie room with an ethereal green haze, echoing with a low moaning sound? wtf man, I was honestly scared to walk down the hallway! (I happened to be playing this while everyone was asleep) Yeah, compared to graphics and games today- it's kind of embarrassing now that I look back at it, but seriously. To have a redead (the name unknown to me at the time) slowly stand and being it's daunting approach was pretty scary. Hell- just when I gained the confidence to "oh I'll just run around this slow 'tard"- it decides to take my stupidity as an advantage, let out a bloodcurdling screech to make Link freeze up (and me to scream and throw the controller, the volume was too loud, I swear.

)
In a giant nut shell. Redeads are scary. I mean, com'on- even the name is. Redead. Nothing more hardcore than something titled about a living dead creature that probably died twice and still came back.
Anyway, this was a random speed paint I did because my wife and I were playing Zelda today.
