Character Sketch: Evelyn and Morph

This is a character sketch I did of Morph and Evelyn. These are two characters from something I'm writing with a friend. If you want their story, just ask (I'm lazy right now). /sleep

That is quite a remarkable sketch! Nice use of shadows and dark lines too.

Although, I might add that the guy's eye furthest away is a little off. But other than that, nice work. :]

yes, i noticed that once i was all done with the picture. i was too lazy to go back and edit it... but now i might have to. XD

Wow, I'm impressed. What I like most is how you do your hair: the style that you use is anime-ish (you know what I mean), and so many artists who use this style of art don't take the time to do realistic, flowing hair; you do, so I commend you. Also, the detail in the clothing is very pleasing, I admire all the folds/wrinkles in Evelyn's overalls. Little effects like this add to the sense of believability to the characters, I've always felt. Overall, very nicely done, I'd love to see you post more and watch your work evolve over time.

So... Do you have any others to post? I'd like to see more

This is soo cutee. I like your style. I agree with EL, fix the eye. I barely noticed it until I got closer and seen it was a bit off.

The clothing ruffles on the girl is spectacular, I don't see anything that could cause it to be off.

I want to see more of these characters you draw, I must say. Good job :3

The nose on the guy looks a bit funny, but other than that good work. Do you draw in any other style other than manga? I mean, I have no problem with manga style, and yours is one of the best I've seen, but it does tend to get boring after a bit.

Hm, other styles? I am a cartoonist, I draw manga, watercolor painting, and I sketch (portraits, landscapes, etc.) Although, my strongest point in art is manga. It's what I started with. Thanks for all the positive feedback! I did go back and fix his eye, I just don't have an updated picture yet. I'll try to get that as soon as I can.

I'll work on some more pictures of these guys. I love drawing them. They're so cute together!
