Heh, you flatter me. Yea, song of healing was the first song on piano I ever tried to play, so more than likely there is a little something off. That, and the mic I was recording with sucked pretty hard.
But enough excuses

. I'm glad you like it, I figured my primary instrument (guitar) would show better than any other. I'm also working on violin right now two, so much worse than piano heh.
Honestly, arranging these songs isn't particularly hard. I've only been reading music for upwards of four months. Of course, I've been playing guitar for much longer but that's not the point. Once you learn the basics well enough it's fairly simple to transfer them, at least from piano to guitar. I haven't tired any other instruments yet.
That being said, these Zelda songs, or I guess any video game songs really, are really good to work with when you're learning music and the notation, transcription, ect. This is for so many reasons. For one, they're songs that you (hopefully) like and can stand to listen to numerous times while practicing, for two, they can range from extremely easy to extremely hard (Koji Kondo is fairly versatile as it turns out) so you have your pick while you progress.
In all honesty, I can say that if it wasn't for Koji Kondo and the
LoZ series, specifically N64 and up, I would not be able to do any of this at this point.
PS: Nylon strings rule

The only negative thing is that they're really annoying to change.
