Live Action Zelda Script (Casting)
Lately, I've been working on a script for a live action Zelda thing, and I've been itching to get it published, so here ya go. I'll upload new chapters as soon as I'm done with them. I also want you to choose who you would cast.

Chapter One
Intro: Before the credits roll, the story of the creation of Hyrule is told with illustrations:
![]() “Before life began, before the world had form, three golden Goddesses descended upon the chaotic land of Hyrule. They were Din, The Goddess of Power, Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore, the Goddess of Courage. Din, with her strong, flaming arms, cultivated the land and created the red earth. Nayru, with her loving heart, poured her wisdom onto the earth to give the spirit of law and justice to the world. And Farore, with her rich soul, created all life forms who would uphold the law. After the genesis of Hyrule, these three great Goddesses returned to the heavens, leaving behind the golden sacred Triforce. Since then, the Triforce had become the basis for Hyrule’s providence. Where the Triforce stood became sacred land. In the vast, deep forest of Hyrule, the Great Deku Tree served as the guardian spirit. The children of the forest, the Kokiri, lived with the Great Deku Tree. Each Kokiri had there own Guardian Fairy, except one. His name was Link.” Opening: As the opening credits roll, The camera flies around Kokiri Forest at morning time, from Navi’s point of view. When the credits are finished, Navi arrives at Link’s House. (“Hello?”) The camera switches to Link’s point of view, his eyes opening and closing. All he can see is a ball of light darting around his room. ![]() Navi: Hello? Link? Link: Muffled sounds. Navi: Wake up! The Deku Tree has summoned you! Link: Mumbling “Go away” and other sounds. Navi: Hey! Get up! Can Hyrule’s destiny really depend on such a lazy boy? Link: Yawns and finally wakes up. Navi: Finally! Now, we must hurry! The Deku Tree wants to see you! Link: Nods and grabs his Kokiri sword and Deku shield and heads out the door. Outside, he passes Saria. Saria: Hey Link! Link: Hi Saria. Saria: Wow! You have your own fairy now! That’s cool. Are you going to go see the Great Deku Tree? Link: Yeah. Saria: Good, meet me when you’re done, okay? Link: Okay. Link then heads to the Great Deku Tree. Navi: Great Deku Tree, I have returned. Deku Tree: Oh Navi, thou hast returned! Thank you, Link, for coming. Thy slumber these past moons must have been restless, and full of nightmares. (Show scenes in black and white of Ganondorf on his horse in front of the castle in a rainstorm) A vile climate pervades this world. Verily, ye have felt it. The time has come to test thine courage. I have been cursed. I need you to dispel the curse with your courage. Navi shall accompany you. Art thou prepared? Tree opens its mouth. Link: Nods and enters the tree. ![]() |

Re: Live Action Zelda Script (Casting)
Sounds good so far, Mr. Uranus. Also sounds really familar, I wonder why O_o. hehe I can really visualize whats happening anyway.
I personally wouldn't want any of those actors to play Link but thats just because I don't really like the idea of games being made into movies. It's because all of the imagination runs out of it. Everyone has a different idea of who Link is and what he acts/sounds like but if it was in a movie than it would obviously be the directors interpretation of it. I'm sorry if I made no sense there but I like the style of your writing so far. Having pictures with it is a great idea.

Chapter Two: Goodbye
Link: Nods and enters the tree, followed by Navi. After passing through a few openings, Link finds . . .
Navi: Hey! Look! It’s a slingshot! Maybe you could use it for something. Link: Yeah! Picks it up and puts it in his pocket. Link then wanders through more passages in the tree until he is ambushed by a very large arachnid. ![]() Navi: It’s Gomha! The parasitic arachnid! It’s been living off the Great Deku Tree and sucking him dry! Hurry! Shoot its eye! Link: Okay! Dodges some slices and shoots Gomha in the eye. Gomha then crawls up onto the ceiling and Link shoots it again, causing it to fall onto the floor. Link unsheathes his sword and stabs Gomha in the eye, killing it. Relieved, Link and Navi step into a blue light that takes them to the clearing before the Deku Tree. Deku Tree: Well done, Link! I knew that ye were worthy of carrying out my wishes. A wicked man of the desert cast this curse on me. And, alas, I was doomed before you even started. Nevertheless, listen to my last words: The evil one is searching for the Sacred Realm and the Triforce. Thou must never suffer the desert man to enter the Sacred Realm and lay his hands on the Triforce. The time has come for you to leave this forest and meet the Princess of destiny. Present this stone to her for I have forseen that she will understand everything. A green gem descends from the Tree’s branches and into Link’s hand. Thou art . . . courageous. ![]() Navi: Link! It’s the Kokiri’s emerald! The spiritual stone of the forest! Link: Puts the emerald in his pocket as a tear runs down his face. The Deku Tree begins to wither rapidly and they both leave. They Travel through the forest until thry reach the exit bridge. There, they meet Saria. Saria: I knew you’d be leaving someday. You’re different from everybody else. I wanted to give you this before you left. It’s an ocarina, one of my treasured keepsakes. Link refuses. No, take it . . . and . . . Saria kisses Link on the cheek. . . . remember me always. ![]() Link: Takes the ocarina. Saria . . . Saria: Go! Tears run down her cheek. Link: Tears run down his as well. He runs through the forest exit without looking back. Saria’s figure melts into the forest. |

Re: Live Action Zelda Script (Casting)
I like your story so far Mr.Uranus. Especially the part that you aren't making Link talk that much, that gives the movie more quality.
If there was a real movie going to be made, I hope they will make it like your creation thusfar, and I think music should be a key point for expressing the mood of the moment as well as what Link would like to say so he doesn't have to speak much. Keep up the good work
