Anyways, they are REALLY sketchy, but they're also good. I don't exactly get what the second one is, though...

Anyways... Yes, as always I draw sketchy and I have no intentions whatsoever to stop that, because I can't draw otherwise. Thus I use to draw only when I have spare time and nothing better to do, which happens to be in different kinds of transports, like trains, buses and planes (I fly every weekend from boot camp to home and back) and those aren't really steady to say the least.

The second picture is a robot torso. The visuals are placed vertically, which is more practical, but fooling most viewers that are used to the standard human look with two diodes as eyes and a mouth on every robot. The left arm is torn off and the gun is the right arm, folding out, but I drawed it poorly and no one gets it.

i like the sketchy style. it's a lot different than what's popular right now, therefore to me it stands out more. however, if you (for your own personal desire) would like to make your drawings a bit clearer, then how bout inking them after you're done with the pencil sketching part? that way you can use your sketch as a guideline since you say you can't draw unless it's sketchy. inking (in a sense) is like tracing over what you've already drawn, but fine tuning it and darkening it up and brining out some more of the details. btw, what boot camp are you in, out of curiosity? i ask cause i used to be in the US Airforce and now i'm married to a military(US Airforce also) guy.

Inking is a really good idea... I might think it over. But then again, I use to draw only when I'm bored and that happens to be mostly on shaky transports.

Heh...THe second one looks somewhat like a necron destroyer..The ehad is different though.

Just a point out, the first pic, I think would look better if the man's face wern't so cartoon-like. Completely ruins the atmosphere.
