evil usb scanners

my usb scanner scans my pictures real huge and i don't know how to shrink then.can someone help me?

It's easy. Just use a program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and change the image size...a size of around 500x600 is what I use for most of my pictures, and I save at a quality of either 7 or 8.

Yeah, those pictures are easly 40 megs. I usually use 200-300 dpi. It works fine for me, and I get all the detail I want.

but how do you change pixles?

We just told you, resizing it is the only way to make it smaller.

Btw, when re-sizing it, I suggest that you resize it from a crazy size like 2000x1500 to about 1200x700, just so that you still have the amount of detail to work with. (if your gonna CG that is)

i got one picture on the sight but they made it big and the pictures actualy quit small
