LoZ online complete theory

This would be a very simple game. Well, I made a short, fake instruction manual for it.~

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA ONLINE (original Legend of Zelda-based)

The friend and ignore list will be part of the main site, as well as the enemy guides, etc.

You rescued an old woman named Impa one day while travelling through a forest you’ve never seen before in an unknown land. She tells you it’s called Hyrule, you’re in the southern country of it, and there was a treasure called the Triforce hidden there. Ganon, prince of darkness, had used the Triforce of Power to get the Triforce of Wisdom from princess Zelda. But she broke it into eight units and hid them throughout the eight labyrinths of the underworld. Ganon kidnapped princess Zelda and took her to his lair inside Death Mountain to the north. On a scroll, it said the eight labyrinths you had to find were the Eagle, Moon, Manji, Demon, Lizard, Snake, Dragon, Lion, and a skull for Death Mountain, where princess Zelda was being held hostage. You agreed to rescue her, knowing you were possibly the young hero Impa was searching for. There are many others out there just like you wondering the same thing… are they the ones destined to become a hero? Or you? Thus, your mission in Southern Hyrule begins.

Note: everything in this game is all caps, including names. The screens are made up of 16x16 pixel 2-D tiles, and the graphics are 16-color. The pixels are the size of a normal pixel x4. This game uses an 8-bit engine.

When the title screen pops up in a new window, it’ll scroll down with all the words. Then, push Enter. At the file select screen, instead of “choose a file,” it’ll say “choose a character.” Each account allows for three characters. However, multiple accounts are not allowed. If you want to create one, choose “register your name.” To erase one, choose “delete a character,” which it’ll say instead of “delete a file.” Type in the character’s name, then design your character. Afterward, choose “register.”

Then, choose your character’s picture. You’ll be brought to the world of Southern Hyrule at H1, assuming the letters are beneath the bottom row and the numbers are to the left.

The following keys go with the NES controller layout:
Enter=Start
Shift=Select
right Alt=A
right Ctrl=B
Arrow keys=Control pad

To log out=Esc

Basically, everything is the same as in the NES game. Except you control your current character. Your goal is to collect as many Triforce units as you can. A screen/room will reset once every character is out of it. This does not include Triforce units. You cannot log out with a Triforce unit. It will be at the spot where you logged out, so hide it well. The old men/women and every other person from the game besides Link, who doesn’t exist here, are NPCs, which goes to include princess Zelda. The different enemies will be NPCs as well, which goes to include bosses and Ganon.

To speak to a player, stand right next to them, start typing, then press Enter. The text will be just like theNES game, at the top/bottom of the screen, depending on location, and will be in a black box on screens that don’t have black ground. This will be displayed over the permanent text of an old man/woman. You can also go up to a character and push tab and choose either “buy,” “sell,” or “trade” to send an offer to them. Then you both must accept.

Only one person can go through a door at a time. However, if the person who went through the door is on a team, they can come. Whichever character/team finds all the Triforce units and rescues princess Zelda will be celebrated.

There can be two characters on a team. To team up with somebody, walk up, press Tab, then choose “team up” to send an offer. If they accept, then you can share items freely, and “share” will be added to the Tab menu. There, just choose the items/amount of Rupees you want to give to them. “Team up” will be replaced with “split up.” It only takes one person’s decision to split up, so the character isn’t forced onto a team. Triforce units will be displayed on both their inventories. A team member can also send private messages to his/her comrad via the main site, as well as people on their friends list. A comrad can walk through a door with somebody else, as long as they walk through the door at the exact same time. This allows them both to fight a boss together, collect a Triforce unit together, rescue Zelda together, etc.

Somebody on your ignore list cannot send private messages to you or talk to you. However, they can still harm you.

Players can harm each other in the same way an enemy can harm link in the game. Same weapons=same effects. Ex: a boomerang will take away half a heart without any rings.

Also, you can report somebody via the main site. It will be sent to a staff member. The staff member will inform the reported character that they have been reported. Since private messages can be excanged between, to, and from staff under any circumstances, the character can defend themselves if the reporter is lying. Any liars will be written down, as well as people who several staff members have seen treating other members badly repeatedly. They will be warned not to behave like that again if the reports are true. Eventually, temporary or even permanent bans can be given under extreme circumstances.

Also, staff will control different characters in disguise. However, they won’t exchange with anybody or team up, to moderate Southern Hyrule. Different staff members, known as moderators, will be assigned to a few regions, and walk around, ensuring nobody comes to them complaining.

However, dogfights are allowed. So is attacking someone pointlessly. You have every right to be an evil character. However, serious and unprovoked flaming is not allowed. Nor is illegal activity in any way. In fact, staff will discourage talking about the internet altogether, although it is allowed.

~Well, help me out here! What do you think? Suggestions? Ideas? One it's finished, I'll pass it on to someone who can program.
