I use whats called, "N-track Studio" it's pretty good, but hard to use, you got to either insert .wav sounds into it, or make your own sounds, which is what I did, cause I got a microphone......

The keyboarding was pretty good but the drums sounded a little off. N-Track? Is that a recording program or a music studio...or both?

OK so you made your own sounds through the microphone using your electric keyboard, couldn't you of connected the keyboard to the computer? Dude you need to get Acid Pro 5, that is what I use and it rocks.

Isn't Sony AC!D pretty expensive? A cheaper alternative to AC!D would have to be FL Studio, which is what I use. In case I'm wrong, how much is the newest AC!D (Pro 5)?

I just tryed FL studio demo, and it's hard.......but the N-track is both a recording program and music studio.......

I just tried a demo of N-Track. It's okay, but there is another program that is basically the same thing (without the music generator) called Cool Edit Pro. It works a bit like N-Track but is ten times better (in my opinion). You could record your keyboard in Cool Edit and then do the drums in FL and combine it (in Cool Edit). The quality would improve a lot, I think.
