Chapter 3: The Tale of Darkness is Told

Crain got use to the training and began to understand much. As for Master Kalic he was very proud of Crain and began to teach him magic. “Ok Crain it is time for you to learn a secret passed down for generations in my family it is called the fire slash. Master Kalic pulled out his sword and a beam of fire came from the tip down. “Take out your sword and come with me”.

Crain did just that and followed Kalic to his basement. There seemed to be an endless staircase until they finally reached the bottom. Crain saw a beautiful glowing fountain with a Triforce emblem in the water in the middle of the dark room. “Go up to the fountain” Kalic says. Crain follows his master’s instructions and walks up to it.

“What do I do now” Crain asks and suddenly a tower of water reaches up from the ground and sends Crain flying to the wall. Crain looks up and was awe struck by the beauty of a great fairy. “Do not fear chosen one I am here to help” the fairies voice boomed. “This is the great fairy of power. I found this place long ago and I have been protecting her ever since. This is why I disappeared long ago.” Kalic explained. “He has built his home atop my grotto which is why he lives in the middle of nowhere.” Said the fairy

“and now I have something I must tell you” the great fairy began to tell a long story “Long ago in this same land a Wizard by the name of Agahnim took over this land of Hyrule and freed the evil lord of darkness Ganon. Luckily the hero of time, Link, managed to defeat them both and seal Ganon away in the dark realm yet again. I have had a terrible prediction that a new figure of darkness will appear and free Ganon yet again. This new dark power was an apprentice of the dark wizard Agahnim who has honed his skills and has managed to become twice as powerful as his master. His name is Morrig. I also see you in my prediction. You are in a fierce battle against Morrig and that is it. I will now give you a gift to defeat him.” She put up her hand and transferred some magic to Crain. Crain felt the power surging threw him. “I have now done my part you can take it from here Kalic” and with that she disappeared into the fountain.

“Whoa I don’t believe it I’m going to have to save Hyrule” Crain said in amazement. “Yes you are and I’m going to teach you everything I know. Let us proceed to the ice room to begin your fire slash training.” Crain followed him into a room filled with ice. “Now to harness the power think of yourself holding a fired up sword and really feel the power.” Crain felt the blade heating up and he suddenly saw it fired up. “Good now slash that pile of ice” Crain swung at it and turned the ice pile into a puddle. He continued with the training until the room was nothing but an ankle deep pool of water. “I know have a purpose I now know what I am meant to do. If you can hear me Morrig I swear to stop you in whatever way I can. Your not reviving anyone!!!!.

Foolish child you can not stop me but I can kill you ha ah ha ha ha aha………………….
